I tried to delete my progress on the game and it didn’t work. Please fix that so it will work and all will be restored.
What annoys me.
Here in Pokémon Champions on mobile, if you stop touching your phone, the screen can turn off or lock. This forces you to unlock your phone & return to the game, which can/often disrupts gameplay & may cause errors during a match. As well why isn’t there a sell option for items?
Bored
I feel like this game is really plain and simple and for that reason it gets really boring when I first downloaded it. It was really fun, but then I started seeing it was just a repetitive cycle. Not anything different no extra things you can do to have fun on the app.
Takes forever
The communicating loading screen to attack takes forever. Way too long loading. Rather play a much faster game than waiting on the loading screen for so long.
Only one device at a time
Even Pokémon GO lets me sign it to multiple devices, but with this game I need to delete the app completely from my iPad after I transfer to my iPhone, if I ever want to play on the iPad again. This is a huge oversight. Will fix my review to 5 stars once this is implemented otherwise great game.
The screen timer causes you to auto-forfeit battles
I cannot believe this game uses a screen timer, shutting your phone off after such a short period of time that often not even a turn has passed, causing you to go to your Home Screen and forfeit the match, just because you weren’t constantly tapping even when the game gave you no inputs to tap. This is basic battle mechanics design and they have absolutely failed in it. Who thought this was a good idea?

The amount of things you have to learn just to beat the bots on easy mode is absolutely mind-boggling. Good idea, very poor execution.

4. A limit on the amount of Pokémon I can have and a gatcha system for recruiting new Pokémon, insinuating a pay to win structure.
5. Pokémon models look just as awful as every other 3d game, lifeless motionless animations for moves still
6. No single player mode
TLDR, play Pokémon showdown. It may be fanmade but it’s better than anything Nintendo could ever make.

And all Pokémon already have somewhat competitive move sets straight from smogon, which takes a lot of the building and enjoyment out of the game. Aside from that it’s literally Pokémon stadium, which is not a bad thing. If you actually got to receive a free Pokémon a day it would be infinitely better.

IMO, this game has a great, straightforward premise, but it doesn’t let you get to the fun quick enough. Recruiting 1 Pokemon per day is abysmal, especially when you don’t get anything useful for your team/strategy.
Also, not being able to transfer Pokemon from Champions to Home is so stupid. Let us get to the fun of battling. Who cares if I use an app to set up a competitive Pokemon? Nobody cares. You want people to stop hacking in Pokemon to Switch games? This is how. Full-stop.

Fun concept but not for everyone.
If you’re from back in the day, this is not like Pokemon Stadium from N64 or battling on any Game Boy platforms against friends. Limited spread of mainly newer Pokemon and players chasing the “meta”. If you try Casual mode it’s anything but casual and you get no in game currency. Love the graphics of the attacks, Pokemon, and the idea of battling like this. The training system is solid. Need to spend money to increase capacity of Pokemon you can have. You can not use all 6 Pokemon in a battle. If you haven’t kept up with Pokemon all these years you will be at a massive disadvantage. Go watch videos of gameplay before possibly wasting time and or money.
Decent battling
The battling is decent but has all the usual RNG, which is extra painful without full teams. Mons also live on 1% all the time which is obnoxious. The biggest issue is the VP, specifically when you lose. If you immediately get swept without being able to play the game, you get basically nothing. Right now I’m in ultra ball but can’t afford any more recruits, can’t afford mega stones, and can’t tweak the mons I already have. Ironically If you win, even if you take no damage, you get the max amount of VP, which is ridiculous. The game also gives you literal garbage when recruiting something new, forcing you to fix what started out broken. Again the battling is decent if you can handle the terrible RNG, but the monetization is aggressive and awful. Double the amount of VP you get when losing and fix the 1 % health stuff and this might be a 3* game.
