Worst App Ever
You can’t log out without deleted the app or your account. The whole log in process is confusing and invasive. The app is hard to use in general. It sucks.

UX is quite bad
I don't feel immersive in the world of Pokémon because this app's UX is bad. All UI elements are not of native refresh rate so they appear super laggy. The background vs Pokémon contrast is really terrible. The biggest thing is how all Pokémon appear at the same size next to each other in the Pokémon tab. It breaks the immersion for me.

Don’t use
Account randomly got deleted after 13 years and customer support refused to help. According to Reddit this issue has been going on for over 2 years and they refuse to help anyone or find a solution to it.

A drop down menu to pick the box, really!?
Why would you pick a drop down box for the navigation of our pokemon boxes!? So we have to click it every time and scroll for the box? Instead of just swipe left or right like most app makers would probably have done.
READ THE TERMS OF USE
Got a random Mon traded to me that must of been hacked. I’ve been using the GTS and Wonder trade Feature. Nintendo locked my account so that I can’t do local trades anymore. I’ve done nothing wrong and even paid for the premium plan. Now they won’t even give me tech support or a refund. If you read the terms of service they state they have no responsibility to refund you anything or to fix any bugs in the software. Apparently I just threw money away because of this scum company.
Overly strict username guidelines, but only after 30 years
They took away the ability to use the username I’ve had since 2007 because kut in kutloose isn’t allowed. “It’s a bad word, “yet kids making up slurs to be “funny” with symbols to replace vowels is fine…
Lack of Improvements
There are many quality of life updates that could be implemented that they just don't do. Impossible trades on the GTS, illegal, hacked/genned/cloned Pokémon being let through with ease, and box sorting to name a few. Friend trades are down and they have not been resolved in a timely manner. Just feels like they don't really care about the user experience

Slow, buggy, bot-ridden
The app is slow, buggy, and bot ridden. The developer seems unable or unwilling to address systemic widespread cloned/“genned” pokemon that even simple rate limiting could address. Connection errors are common. Half-day server maintenance seems to indicate that the app is built on legacy infrastructure and development practices (highly doubt servers are geo-distributed and scalable).
Worst app I’ve ever used
I have to delete and redownload every two days because of an error code. HIGHEST GROSSING media franchise in the world and they can’t put an ounce of care into a single one of their products. Even a necessary tool for other games that cost an extra monthly subscription on top of Nintendo online. Close game freak and free the IP. It doesn’t deserve the abuse.

horrible app for a billion dollar company
i have to reinstall atleast once a week because of error 800 im so tired of this company man .
DO NOT USE YOUR NINTENDO ACCOUNT ON THIS!!
I basically used this on my phone back then but when I deleted it after using my Nintendo account on it back when it came out. It won’t let me log back in on switch or any device to this day…if anyone reads this. Just take my advice and don’t log your Nintendo account on Pokémon home app on mobile. Just do it on switch only.
Worst App, and It’s Not Close.
It is far easier to get a Doctorate in Medicine than it is to figure out the issues this app has. On the switch, it says that the account is being used on another switch, when it’s the first switch you ever signed into. On the app, it tells you that your purchase is being processed. Insanity coming from a billion dollar company.

Most days it doesn’t work at all!!! Stop wasting money on Palworld and fix this cheap app!!!
Terribly Unreliable
This app never opens properly. When signing in, most, if not all users, are met with an error code and very little support from the developers. This alongside the poor oversight of the trading system (i.e. illegal form or incompatible levels), it is a hassle to use this app.
When it’s operational…….
It works when you’re able to open it without some false error code, i got high speed internet, fully connected, full bars, and the only way you can bypass the fake “connection issues” is uninstalling and installing and re signing in. And the only thing you keep saying is it’s my connection issues…. No it’s an app issue fix it.
Only 30 boxes and can’t delete Pokemon within them.
You only get 30 boxes for free then you have to pay just to use the app. If you don’t pay and you have your 6,000 Pokemon they will just delete them? Hoping there is another alternative app soon cause it seems too risky to pay. Also it should be more user friendly especially for children. There should be more boxes available for free and the option to delete Pokemon you don’t want. You shouldn’t have to pay for basic functionality. More advanced stuff I understand but I’m not paying to use the bare minimum.

App never connects to the server and lags horribly. I have to restart the app 10x just to log in, and when I do, it freezes once I start using it. Can’t transfer pokemon because I’m never able to use the app long enough to make it work. Really disappointing- it’s worked twice out of the 50+ attempts I’ve made to transfer.
GPS doesn’t work
GPS keeps loading but nothing happens a lot when try use gps missed a lot stuff due to this

Fix the app!!!!
Love the concept behind it, but the app is so buggy, it’s almost unusable. Not sure why it’s so highly rated. Maybe if it actually worked like it’s supposed to, the higher reviews would be valid, but every 10 seconds it gives an error message and closes/restarts the app. When it does work, it’s great, but it takes about 20 minutes to do anything because it’s so slow to load new pages and it’s constantly giving error messages when you try to do just about anything and everything. Please for the love of god fix this😭😭😭
Lost all my Pokémon
Logged into the app to find all my Pokémon gone. Had logged in for a minute but yeah this was the last straw with me I’m done.

Switch boxes missing
This app really needs to have the boxes from the switch version added. Organize all of you Pokemon on the switch, and they’re in random order on iOS
Encouraging Gen
Allows for people on the GTS to ask for Pokemon that don’t exist and also that can’t exist in the game they are asking for them in. Like people asking for galarian ponita for let’s go pikachu and eevee. Or for Pokemon a lvl lower then what they actually appear in game. But if you try to make that search it tells you Pokemon doesn’t exist.
Disconnection is common
This app is great for trading, managing, and viewing the pokemon. Love it. However… it seems like I need to uninstall and reinstall the mobile app every day due to connection errors that randomly precent it from opening. I have no problems with any other apps, games, etc. Just this one. It’s super annoying, and “clearing the cache” or resetting my wifi/connection, and the other recommendations do not always work.
