Lacking correct info
This game is great if your enjoying collecting cards but when it comes to gameplay, the description of what the cards due is many times not correct. Ex. You pick gengar and it says your opponent will be asleep, but some how it fails to mention the coin flip that is required to keep that sleep active. Other cards say it will be a coin flip, there are just too many errors like that or lack of information that confuses people or at the very least you learn these things by losing matches which can be fixed easily if information on cards was all encompassing.
Rigged RNG don’t play
Absolutely horrible RNG. Game is rigged to always screw you. 0/5 stars.

I have some cards that I have more than 20 of. Too many doubles. Sometimes I get 2 of the same trash cards. Abilities are hit and miss. Some cards are broken. It’s still trash imo.
Don’t download.
RNG is NOT RNG. They purposefully give you bad outcomes that would otherwise be near impossible to achieve that many times in a row. Nintendo is a scam.

They taking away good rewards and the good events and giving back less. Pocket was kind good, but Ai even can tell games dying as they can retain players and appears in my opinion they are punishing the players by taking rewards away. Like blue tickets you get 5 from friends or battles. Then from other areas. To buy everything in shop reset. Now you can only barely buy two things every month. Overpriced switch 2. They passed tariffs onto consumers, now they double dipping than some. And Pokémon games look bad and rushed, pulling content out and charging it as dlc. Starting to think it’s time people move on from Pokémon . Mainly older people keeping it alive. Need not kill games to come to America. Need offline mode for this game and if not we can get a full refund when it shuts down and they take away the cards we technically own and need new laws to protect us. When they take away items in game is kind of theft when a game shuts down you will loses paid content you paid money for. Just my opinion and maybe wrong in some eyes. Sure they probably report this post to get it removed.
Ridiculous Expert Battle Mission
Some of us like to complete every mission on games, however with this new update of missions. Being able to win 5 battles in a row in Expert Random battles is impossible yet alone 10 battles, battling in this game requires extreme luck in order to draw good cards and most of the time the AI always has everything it needs and it always seems to pull a useful card out of the blue and not let’s not even talk about the coin flips and how 80% of the time the player always lands on tails and the AI always lands on heads!
Anyways this is ridiculous and for that reason this game is a 1* at most!!!

ever since you guys updated the app, i’ve gotten LESS luck. the wonderpick is AWFUL now, makes it completely useless. i barely get full art cards when i open 10 packs, getting one star cards was super common and now? super rare. this app is going down the drain. LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!!
Beyond garbage gameplay
The biggest load of steaming garbage in terms of gameplay, the same meta since release. If you’re collecting you’ll enjoy, if you’re looking to play a GAME these devs have crater sized dents where brains would be.

Rigged AI
Playing against a computer controlled opponent is thoroughly unenjoyable. You’re going to go first and the ai will have every card it needs right from turn 1. I play it with my wife and son, but if not for them, I would delete it instantly.
More RNG than before
They just keep adding more and more RNG to anything even objectives now with the new update for expert. At this point. Playing any PvP or against Ai feel like 50/50 chance with coin flips and card draw. Worse compare to other games. Only play this for the card pulling cause real life is somehow worse with scalpers. But yeah screw pokemon genre.
Deleting
I’ve had the game since it came out. It’s a waste of time and money. They skew draw rates of cards, when a pack first gets released your pull rate is insane. It drops sharply as the days go by. The wildcard pull is also skewed. I’ve picked over 12 times within the week and only got 1 card that I was aiming to get. The battles that are increased in difficulty aren’t stronger decks, what happens is your draws are terrible, while the enemy has perfect draws and luck with coin flips. They need to be more transparent because there’s something weird going on with how this game has been running. I’m around 30k cards pulled, my last God pack was probably around 20k. Before that last one, I would have a God pack atleast once a set. Save yourself the time.
Nerfed rates
Used to pay for the game and play it every day, now there is no point. I’m at over 50 packs opened on the set. One EX. Almost every pack is all “non foil” cards. I was suspicious the nukes the pull rates last set, now it’s obvious.

Not able to play
This is terrible. For an entire day, I had downloaded and uninstalled this game several times just for it to work, then I kept getting hit with an error that says there was a “communication error” and that I needed to check my wifi and I have full bars and full wifi btw. Then after it finally worked, and I downloaded 3 whole GB, I GOT HIT WIT THE SAME ERROR. Terrible.

Rigged Mechanics
Another review of the terrible gameplay as they always take these reviews down. Apple needs to do better as they are terrible at showing accurate reviews. Every time I come back, my review is gone. Mechanics are rigged not in your favor to give the illusion of gameplay. Need a heads? You’ll get it if you’re playing the easy mode. You won’t if you play any other for at least 4 rounds. Playing an event? Go first 9/10 times and expect to lose.
Terrible PvP
If you just like spending money and opening packs this is the game for you, but if you would like to actually play and enjoy the PvP aspects of the TCG, be warned. I have had this game for close to a month now and it’s a level based game. The more packs you open, the more cards you obtain, the more players you beat, the more you level up. Currently I’m level 25, and the level cap is 60. But explain to me why every single PvP match you start, the game pits you up against level 60 players every single time? Not sometimes. EVERY SINGLE TIME! I don’t know about you but I really don’t see the point in having a level system if you’re just going to allow level 60 players with fully built competitive decks just absolutely dominate against low level players that don’t even have enough cards to even remotely make a decent starter deck. And you can’t even say that you’re not supposed to play PvP until you’re a higher level because there are “match finding categories”, and one of said categories is literally signified as a beginner. And what might you expect to be paired up against in this “beginner” category. You guessed it. Level 60 Players!!! Absolutely broken game.

Authentication code error
Fun game but I keep getting an error code every time I try to open it now. I have tried clearing cache, deleting and redownloading and nothing works. Reached out to support, nothing back. Sucks because I love this game

Please stop telling me what deck to use if I’m already using a recommended deck type. The game literally treats you like a 3 year old every time you try to play it. I literally have 11k cards, so can you please stop telling me what deck to try out. Can you please put a toggle that will stop the game from telling what recommended deck type you should be using. It’s been over a year and the game feels like it’s being supported by an intern who makes QOL changes when they aren’t being forced the come up with cards.

Awful game for realistic odds
Odds are rigged to keep you playing and spending money. For Higher difficulty battles, rather than fighting more challenging bots, they make your odds of pulling necessary cards go down. I reset one battle 7 different times and got the same exact hand every time. Literally impossible odds.

Nice, but Awful RNG
Collecting cards is the bright spot, but battling just isn’t fun. The RNG is truly awful and pvp is full of sweats who suck away any joy from the game.
Game sucks
Your success in this game is so dependent on the cards you pull, the balancing of gameplay mechanics and pokemon types is horrible, the maximum deck size is 20 cards which really limits how you can strategize with the constantly expanding card roster and they just keep adding cards like stadiums without expanding deck size, and the solo battles against the games computer feels so unbalanced at times it is not enjoyable and you have to do it to unlock the cards during that event you cannot pull the cards from the event from standard packs. This game was a lot more fun when it originally came out but it seems theyre more focused on pumping out new cards and prints like holo’s rather than making the actual gameplay balanced and fun.

Revamp Wonderpick and People aren’t having this kind of stuff anymore. They get 5 trash cards twice per day. And I think it’s starting to get sick of it. I think we should have like a modern version of pokemon cards more than five. Because pulling five cards per pack would suck. And I like opening pokemon packs with higher cards with each holo cards. Really need revamps man. It’s starting to suck.

In a straight forward pokemon deck build and battle it is fun. The game lacks in the aspect of people are rapidly turning away or adding to the want for flashy cards. The developers see that and are 100% capitalizing on that point. I’ve been playing the game for around a year shortly after launch. I have spent roughly 500 on the game (all buy choice no one made me) but when I’m spending real money I’m averaging at least 1 2* or an equivalent 2* shiny per 10 packs opening which for those who don’t know it costs 9.99 to have enough gold to do it. Since the last set I’ve decided to slow down on spending. Now I have pulled 60 packs between my 2 accounts and haven’t yet pulled a single 2* of either verity. Also the game maxes you out at level 60 with no rewards for continuing the game and once you beat each solo matches you max out all free hour glasses and tickets. It gets you addicted to collect them all and then leaves you with the only way is to spend real money. Huge flaws developers please fix.
WAS FUN
the Game was fun but it’s so Hard to play the new Cards/Decks that come out, Meaning I hardly pull any EX Pokemon Which makes up most of the Decks in and out of the Meta. honestly it feels like I only pull 1 star cards, which look nice but becomes annoying when u have 4 or 7 copies of said 1 Stars. It’s frustrating because I want enjoy it but can’t when the cards I need to play decks are Locked behind RNG/Whaling. Don’t play if haven’t started Already b/c u won’t pull any cards needed for the meta or just to play something u would enjoy. Really did like this game……before they messed with the RNG of pack pulls, smh most likely will delete app
