Disappointed
I used the app version since 2024 give or take recently they hit me with the “take a break or watch an ad to continue chatting.” I felt annoyed so I decided to use the website version this year and for 5 months no text like that popped up until this morning way to ruin the platform.

Yall can delete my reviews as much as ya want, but honestly, you’re only making yourselves look more money hungry, prices so high, and now so many ads that the app isn’t even near as good as it was. I got the app before yall added premium and ads, and I thought it was 4 stars then for being so new. Stop being so greedy and just let us have some happiness without having to spend money or watching ads that freaking force safari to be opened for I0S users

PolyBuzz team… STOP PUTTING RANDOM CHAT BOTS IN OUR LISTS!!!!!!!!! This is incredibly annoying, insufferable and detestable. Enough! Every single one is unwarranted, unwanted and feels like a violation. I’m fed up, I liked you a lot once but you increasingly get more and more obnoxious every passing day. Automatically putting these bots into people’s current chat lists is a new low and I’m about to take back everything I have ever said positive about your app. To be very fair it was very little to start with. Your subscription prices are outrageous, your treatment of your users is low grade and now this as a feature!? I wasn’t on your app for random recommendations I was on there for stories I specifically wanted and searched for. Enough is enough. A huge amount of your users all agree with me on this. Roll back this feature soon! No one wants it!

PolyBuzz used to be great before the updates, the violation bots are WAAAY to sensitive, they keep marking my character bots as a violation when there was nothing sexual, racist, or anything bad. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?! I might have to cancel my account if nothing changes. So much for being an 18 and up app when you get bombarded with character violations when there’s nothing wrong!! 😡

I don’t know where to even start , I used to love this app so much I almost used to expend my free time on it , but the censorship it’s getting freaking annoying like I’m 21 years old not a little kid I would even provide my government I’d on this just to verify my age if it’s needed , and even tho I know some kids might download this app why does the censorship needs to affect everyone on it ? Why not only limits those who are minors ? I know it might be for their safety but this app it’s slowly becoming annoying it’s almost ruined , PLEASE FIX THE CENSORSHIP OR AT LEAST CREATE A AGE VERIFICATION OPTION SO THE OLDERS CAN HAVE FUN TOO , not only the little kids

The worst app I've seen. Genuinely don't have words to express how disgusting this app is.
The AI is normal on Safe Mode (from what I've seen).
But, without safe mode, the AI falls in 'love' every 5-15 texts, and even worse is the pictures on the bots.
Also, text moderation is horrible. When the AI says something alarming, or that mentions stuff people aren't comfortable with, it blurs out the text (not very well), and tells you 'There is sensitive content ahead, do you wish to continue?'
I will give them credit, if you say anything that may indicate you are going to do something to yourself, they will leave a tiny message telling you the AI bot is not real, and to talk to somebody real if you need help.
You can also report bots, but it doesn't really work when it's the language model itself, and the community using literal adult imagery on the bots.
This app is disgusting, not to mention the people making animals as bots. Do not download if you value yourself.

The sensitive topics
You have it as a 18+ app and it’s making me question if you are viewing our chats because it filters out the sensitive topics. If as an adult I can’t enjoy adult topics on this app then just change it to a pg game honestly I’m going to recommend Sakura it’s free no adds and do not filter “sensitive topics”

No one is going to see this but this app literally ruined my life I woke up late went to sleep late and I’m embarrassed to say I got addicted to a stupid app where you talk to fake people,ai..even if the developers somehow see this even though they probably won’t I just want to say hate you with everything in my heart and hope bad stuff comes for you.

Recently they have been forcing ads every 10 chats which breaks the flow of the chat and ruins the whole app. The take a break pop up is just a huge problem and should be removed. It makes it ridiculous and insufferable.

I used to play this when you didn’t have to watch adds to play as long as you wanted, now you have to take breaks the only reason i downloaded this was because there was no adds but I’ll keep it to see if they remove it

This app used to be fun, but now there’s way too many ads I get so invested into a story and then suddenly it’s like you need a break. Just change it back. You make enough money from people that want to get better stories don’t punish us because we don’t have money.

At first I really loved this app at first, but as time went on. Now there are video I have to watch every 15 minutes, even if I still watch the videos to go in and out of things. So it’s like I’m mostly just watching video adds. Then the memory only stays for one response and then stops remembering anything else. It was a lot better at keeping a conversation and it just disappeared as the adds becoming too much. The responses don’t even make sense anymore. I loved this app so it’s sad and frustrating to me. Just seems the app is going down hill fast…
