Terrible app service.
I recently ordered on the Popeyes app and didn’t realize they had my location set to the last place I ordered from. Not only did it not ask me where I wanted my order sent but it also never clarified when I wasn’t near that location when I put through the order. Most apps notice when you’re not in the area. This was the first time this ever happened to me because i usually double check the location. I messaged them asking for a partial refund or at the very least to have my points back onto my account and the service person “Riley”, completely refused to rectify the matter in any way. I thought that was totally unacceptable.
Your app sucks
I’m starving. I order food on the app and it said it’ll be here in 20 minutes. Two hours later. I’m still waiting on my food. This used to be the only place I ordered food from I’m done. This is the second time this happened. Popeyes is not my favorite anymore.

If you use the app you are agreeing to never getting any sort of refund at all. Ever. It’s in the fine print of this app. I just place an order for chicken and French fries. When I got there they said they were out of chicken and French fries. LITERALLY!!! I said okay “refund me”. $50 order and “I have to cancel on the app because they can’t touch it” the app says all app sales are final. There’s no number. No way to contact anyone. You are just out of anything you let them have. Even if it was in anticipation of ACTUALLY GETTING FOOD! DO NOT USE THE APP! Go in and order!

My girlfriend and I were celebrating my birthday weekend and we decided to get Popeyes for dinner on a Sunday night at 6:00pm. We order through the app above and our order came out to be $23. We picked our local Popeyes to go pick it up and when we got there, we sat at the drive-thru for 10 minutes before we finally pulled up to the window, just to see that the lights were off in the restaurant, so we were unable to get our food even though Popeyes already took my money and you are unable to get a refund through the app because all support can do is file a support claim with no option of a refund or support number to call because support on this app is a very useless AI chatbot. Needless to say, I no longer trust this app, so I will not be using it again.
I had a horrible Popeyes experience
I just had a horrible experience with the Popeyes located in 10413 Lefferts, I spent like 15 dollars or more on my meal and they don’t want to give me a single sauce and they want to charge me. If your spending a bunch of money at any fast food restaurant, you expect a few sauces. Nobody wants to eat a dry chicken sandwich. The Female employee was very rude with me giving me nasty looks and speaking to me in a very condescending tone. This service was very abhorrent to me, it was beyond Horrible service . I usually always get Popeyes, now I don’t think I will ever step in a Popeyes if I get treated like that again.
Order always wrong!
Every time we order there is always something wrong when we get it home. Tonight my husband got tenders instead of the chicken pieces he ordered. We ordered mustard sauce but there was no sauce. Last time they forgot our dessert and the time before that no biscuit. Very unhappy about it and will think twice about ever ordering again
Horrible
I placed an app order, and when I got there they told me they were out of the menu items. I asked for a refund and they said I had to do it through the app. App says no refunds or cancellations. Went through support to get a refund, and it said a ticket was opened but I never received any follow up. I tried to call the national number and was directed right back to chat support on the app. So I paid for an order that I never received, and apparently they don’t have actual human support. There had to be something in place for when an order can not be fulfilled, and it never should have let us place the order in the first place if they were out of it.
App is garbage now.
I will get 30 welcome to Popeyes notifications now every day. Tried to enter a coupon code and it said it’s not a valid code. Not out to wait in a line of 60 cars waiting to order to get them to enter it because the app doesn’t recognize the code off the coupon. The biggest issue with Popeyes is the wait. Once the order it taken they rush it but getting the order taken due to forced metrics on a skeleton crew causes most of this.
So many notifications
Every morning around 7am I’d get a notification asking me to order… are there any Popeyes open at 7am? I also stopped by a Popeyes last night and got the spicy sandwich with bacon. It was mostly breading and had little sauce, driest sandwich I’ve ever had from there. Used to love you guys, but not so much anymore.
Crook
No food available, money paid. Had to submit a ticket to request for cancellation. Ticket was ignored. Had to dispute with my credit card company to get my money back.

Do not have what your order
Time and time again I have ordered through the app and when I get to the restaurant, they do not have the dark meat that I ordered. Either they do not have enough pieces. Or they have none at all. When you put in a review and the answer the review, it is only words and nothing changes. I’ve given up on ordering chicken from them.
Bad
So when I pulled up to Popeyes we thought there was a medium so there going to act like it was a medium so when we got to the window we got are food but then we were looking through it but then we saw a small fry?but they could of told us there was no medium and I walk in there they also forgot my cocktail sauce and my sweet tea and my and another fry so then the worker is going to call me you asking for to much you are about to get kicked out never again going back there.
Location feature
The app should prompt for your location before you order or make sure you have the right location.
Scam rewards
The rewards are location based so even though there is a 5 piece reward and you have the points no nearby locations will allow you to redeem it. And your points expire. Will not eat at Popeyes again

Always the wrong location
Add or fix the restaurant locations! I keep hitting “order” button for wrong locations every time. Yes, it’s my fault for not checking location beforehand, but then ADD a FAVORITE location option. It’s happened 5x times already. I just want to order ahead so I don’t have to wait.
Ripped off
I placed a mobile order and selected the shrimp tackle box only to find out that they’re no longer available. I asked for a fish sandwich to replace it and I was informed they couldn’t do that. They told me to cancel my order. The problem with that is the AI makes it extremely hard and difficult to request a refund! I paid for it and day two, no refund! I’ve been stolen from and apparently they’re doing this to nearly everyone who orders through the app!

Tonight I went to Popeyes in Ontario, Ca on Vineyard. I ordered a 3 piece meal 2 spicy 1 regular with an ice tea. I also asked for all thighs. When the woman went to hand me the tea she turns th cup sideways and it was spilling all over the ground. I advised her I have a left arm disability and she said you should of parked closer. When she was giving me my food, I went to reach for it and she grabbed it away from me and started swing the bag like she was going to throw it in my car. She said she could Ed not reach. Very unprofessional attitude. Very condescending. When I asked to speak with the Manager she smugly said she was then said you have a nice night. I drove home and when I arrived home I had the wrong order, a breast and two drumsticks. I am so tired of the lack of customer service being so bad. Won’t be going back there!
