Hardware is garbage
Maybe this app is fine, but how am I to know when the hardware doesn’t even function. Don’t buy this piece of junk, the “Phomemo” label printer, didn’t work even once out of the box.

App deleted our labels
We had been using this app with ease for our small bakery business for a few years and loved it. They updated it and every single label was deleted. We can no longer access the circle labels. It only saves select labels. It sucks now! When we finish using our labels, we will buy something else. So aggravating!! :(
Only want me to upgrade
I can’t print anything because it only wants me to upgrade. I’ve spent 40 minutes trying to print a tiny label!
Clunky, slow, constant nagging
All I want to do is print a basic label on the label maker I already paid for. I pay for the refills, this company is getting my money. Their app is so slow and clunky, constantly nags you to pay for their premium (for what, ugly fonts?) and constantly needs to be forced closed to even load the main page. Honestly tape and a sharpie is easier.
Difficult to use; tries to force premium purchase
Printing à label is such a basic concept yet they managed to make it so incredibly user-unfriendly. Basically anything I do it tells me that whatever it is is only available through premium. Then it tells me to remove any premium features but it doesn't tell me what the premium features are or how to remove them. I'm seriously thinking about throwing away the printer and buying a new one just so I don't have to deal with this app. If they made a good app maybe people would be inclined to pay for it but trying to trick or force people into paying for something so basic as printing a label is really insulting.

This app is nigh-unusable. It is extremely difficult to print a simple, unformatted text label. Virtually every attempt to do so prompts a message that you are “using Premium Features” and to either delete the Premium Features or Subscribe.
No where in the app does it make it obvious which premium features are present in your current label.

App doesn’t work
Downloads and connects to printer but every request freezes the app with a “loading” notice and the request fails.
Very disappointing
Busiest day of the year in my store and they are having server issues. Response from company is “We’re sorry, please check back on 24-48 hours”. That is unacceptable.
Not reliable for business use
App appears to not be working it deleted all my templates and can’t find label sizes. I use this for business so this is a pretty big blow to production definitely would not recommend

I’ve had this app for several years now and it was working great til today. Templates not coming out. Can’t create new labels. Scan QR code label identification does not work.
I don’t know what happened with their app. I tried with my other phone and it’s the same. Maybe the new bug fix, crashed the system. It’s pretty much useless now unless they can fix the problem. All my templates are gone.

It used to work fine but now every time I open the app to print something, I can’t even use it. Nothing wants to load. All my saved templates are gone. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling and I’m having the same loading issues. So frustrating!
Annoy Pushy Upsales and Notifications
I want to love this app. But its functionality is flawed, layout isn’t great for repeats. But above it all, it’s so incredibly annoying. It’s a LABEL MAKING APP. Stop trying to push an upgrade on me every single time I open the app. I’m not giving you $6.99 a month to make labels. Stop sending me messages multiple times a week that it’s time to upgrade and make some more labels. It’s a utility app! Just be a utility app and if your upgrades are worth it to certain people those people will pay. Enough! Give me a way to turn off the giant ad I have to X every single time I open the app and then the million little ads that come up on screen like it’s some gross adware recipe site.

This app is absolute garbage. You need a subscription to do basic text. They basically sell the printers and you need a subscription to use them.
Cannot print without subscription
I purchased this mini label maker on amazon. I downloaded the required app only to find that I need a yearly/monthly subscription to even use this item!! Each time I just type info to create a label, it states I am using Pro contents!! Well then only show what I can use for free without a subscription because I cannot seem to find it, if it exists! Guess this is another Amazon return! ☹️

I have canceled my subscription and yet they are still trying to take money out of my account. When I go through the app support, their website is completely in Chinese and there is no way for me to contact anyone.

THE APP WONT STOP CRASHING
app worked fine for about a week. now every time i load the app, it crashes within 10 seconds. it has become unusable. i am frustrated.

Don’t bother subscribing to the premium. I’ve paid for it twice in the same year, once on my old phone and once on my new device. A few weeks after paying for my subscription, the features became unavailable stating I needed to subscribe. After contacting customer service, they fixed it and it worked for a couple weeks. Here it is a month later telling me to subscribe again, despite that I paid the annual fee twice. I’ll be tossing this printer and app soon. I can’t emphasize enough how TERRIBLE this app is.
Unusable garbage
The software basically forces you to use their subscription service. I bought this to print basic labels and it won’t let me move forward. Would not recommend and I’ll be shopping for a new label maker that doesn’t require an app.
