Just not good.

Old models and UI
The only thing that I thought might I might like is their shortcuts. Today I found that it didn’t work as expected.

What is the point of a local model on an iPad if I can’t add local files to the session. Uploading to Private LLM servers goes against the whole point of a local llm

But even way under the limit and it still crashes and I lose all chat history. AND YES IT GETS HOT AND AFTER ABOUT 15 seconds it bogs down in speed drastically. (The heat part is not the apps fault just due to hardware limitations. If they fix this the app will be worth the money

I asked about the assurances in the privacy policy. The response to whether personal data is collected, “Yes, personal data may be collected in certain circumstances . . . where it is necessary to protect the interests of another individual.”
It does collect your data (but may not retain it - but who knows). If it wasn’t collecting your personal identifying data, it couldn’t report you to the “authorities”.

Great Concept, Poor Execution
I was never able to converse with AI as every time I went to submit a question, the app crashed my phone back to the lock screen. Downloading AI models from huggingface was clunky and slow.

It literally does nothing I want it to. I’ve asked detailed questions asking for step by step and still nothing correct

App crashes and wonders a lot and speaks in gibberish. Lost hours of conversation in a crash. Would not use this app. Very disappointing
Basic
If this is real AI, then as of 12-12-25 it is unable to answer basic questions correctly or clearly. It follows almost no direction, and even when it seems correct it blurs the answers with so much CYA that the answers are of almost no value. Save your money.

How can you not support multiple conversations? Who works on one project at a time? It’s an absolute necessity. You need to explicitly note this before people spend money on this app. Also, be aware LlM are curated by the company that produces the app. You cannot side load LLM that aren’t listed. Additionally, there are models listed as supported on your website that are not supported in the app.
Super buggy and slows iPad
Cool app but it’s incredibly slow and buggy for an app that cannot store any previous chats and that doesn’t allow most modern small LLMs.
Also, the advertisement pictures of using custom llms to produce uncensored chat bots or celebrities is dangerous to the youth and also tasteless.

these models make me tear my hair out. so frustrating to talk to and all have very rigid behavior you cant easily damage control. awful waste of time.
This app is horrible
It does not work well. It lack certain features. Chat responses are parrot like, vague & inaccurate. Not a good choice for creatives looking for a limitless ethical app to help assist their creative endeavors… SAVE YOUR MONEY

Lacking in an unbelievable amount of features and newer models. UI looks dated and feels clunky to use.
I asked and it directly stated internet is needed for use.
I asked multiple times in different ways and I received the same block of text as an answer every time. I thought I was getting a completely local ai to use, but this appears to be FALSE.
Additionally, after some research, it appears that huggingface, which is used for the available “models” to choose from, is not completely sandboxed.

Okay but lacking many features
Its not worth the money considering how many features it is lacking. There is no chat history or the ability to create new chats. The UI is pretty bad. Switching models keeps the chat history, so I have to clear it every time. Other apps on the app store which are available for free do the same thing as this one and with more features and better UI. The only difference is that this one has a broader model selection. It does not show you how much RAM the models use which is a feature I like in the other feee apps. The apps built-in copy and paste functionality doesn’t work. Please fix!
Keeps crashing
Within the app, I downloaded and selected the model that I wanted to use and as soon as it tries to load the model - doesn’t matter which one - it consistently crashes the app. So, as a troubleshoot, I reset the app, my iPad. Anything to see if I can get this app to work properly and no matter what I do. It crashes. Which is a huge disappointment.
This LLM app could be the next big thing for users. But don’t waste your breathe on this. Unless models can be fixed within a reasonable time - I would like my money back. But we are familiar with how that works.

Complete garbage…any other AI platform is better.
This is completely worthless. Literally any free AI platform ChatGPT, Grok, Venice are far better. The role play is terrible and most certainly is not ‘uncensored’. No wonder you have to pay before you try it out…because no one would ever buy it after trying it.

1. There’s no button to start a new chat. I just have to delete my current chat to start over which involves a time intensive click path. Also there’s no chat history.
2. I wasn’t able to use any uncensored LLMs. For some reason even Dolphin was refusing many of my instructions.
Overall pretty frustrated given there’s free apps that offer more.

Nice idea, needs more work
First, the app should not crash. I’m picking a model recommended on the company website for my Mac RAM specs, yet the app crashes as soon as I switch to the recommended model. Second, it would be helpful to have the recommendations from the company website on the app. I have no interest wading through gazillion models. Give sensible recommendations inside the app and dash the big list of models in some advanced section.

They somehow cripple the AI with their settings, i have tried 5 different models and X different settings but the AI is always 50 versions of terrible. Best results: what is 1+1? „I am an Ai…“!

Super easy and necessary. Other apps do allow for this, Apollo is an example.

They would download to 38% and then hang up and the app would freeze if I clicked resume download or anything. Overall there are many better free apps that do the same thing as this app but better In every way. The best thing this app has going for it is that it has obliterated models of local llms, but again that’s assuming you can even download them.

Don’t waste your 5 bucks.
I saw this application in one of my AI newsletters I receive in my email and thought I’d give it a try. Not impressed. Waste of money. If you have used ANY of the mainstream, up to date, Chat AI platforms, you’ll be disappointed in this application. You get constant repetitive responses, very little memory of conversations and data.
Unstable on iPad Pro M5: Frequent crashes; can’t recommend
I’m using this on an iPad Pro M5 (16 GB / 1 TB), and the app repeatedly crashes when loading models. I’ve tried several models that should be fully compatible with this hardware, but the app still aborts most of the time. On the rare occasions it doesn’t crash, it works well-but that’s not enough to justify the purchase. As it stands, I feel I’ve wasted $4.99 and cannot recommend this app in its current state.
Poor multi language support, and poor shortcut integration
It does not fully support Chinese. I mean, when I need it to output some Chinese, it ends up with some wired translations with repeated words.
Another problem is the way it integrated with shortcut app. I was hoping it would offer the ability to tackle some text work with automation in the background, and just return the result back to the shortcut app, but the shortcut seems to always brings this app to the foreground.

I've seen the YouTube videos of the dev trash talking other LLM clients, but maybe fix your own app first?

PocketPal (which is free and open source), is way better. It's only missing Shortcuts integration.

This app has no chat history
Not even the most basic features are present, like there is no chat history, go figure… idk what where they thinking, yeah it runs a few select mlx models relatively fast but that is about it. Almost useless, the apple shortcut starts a new chat every time you run it… makes it also useless, there are better free local LLMs than this. Don’t waste your money. I give 2 stars because it can actually run some LLMs… disappointed… refund…
