More trouble than worth?
This morning, I could not access the Internet over Wi-Fi or data. And it appeared to be the fault of the VPN. I can’t really tell if it’s doing anything from a security perspective, but when it cuts you off from the Internet randomly that sucks

Too often nukes wifi capabilities. Without notification just bricks any internet capability and the only solution is to disable the whole app, defeating its purpose

Extremely buggy lately
Not sure what’s going on with Proton but the app has been extremely buggy on my MacBook Pro M2 and now it’s not even working on my iPad M2. I tried everything from restarting my iPad to deleting and reinstalling the app but still not working. Proton has been getting worse. Definitely regret purchasing it and not taking advice from those wanna be YouTube gurus anymore.

Not connecting to where I need

I had high hopes for proton after switching from strong VPN, which worked really well but left me with security concerns. However, proton really slows things down and many things get blocked and never open. Don’t know how to troubleshoot this.
Support needs to work on the servers more.

If I’m going to pay for your vpn service keep the connection connected. Seems every time i use the internet my connection is flawed by your service
In app subscriptions don’t work
I am an app developer - they have their in app subscriptions setup incorrectly. Every iOS app that has in-app subscriptions is required to have a “restore purchases” flow to reassociate your subscriptions with the app - when I go through this flow in the app I get a success message but my account is still marked as free. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app but no matter what I do I am still marked as a free user. My Apple account subscriptions show an active subscription it just won’t associate with the app - I will be requesting a refund from Apple.
Good app but slow speed

Messes up the loading quality of other apps from time to time or doesn’t let you go into other apps.
Inconsistent amalgamate
The app has this absolutely horrible Japanese server in the free tier that serves as encouragement to upgrade to the pro tier, the literal most useless server ever created as it drops your WiFi speed to speeds below conception, and of course the highly intuitive (change server) button that conveniently stops working for 10 minutes when you use it decides to put you back in the same server when you ask for a change, because why would you want to switch? Surely not because the server you’re actively in is HORRIBLE. a feature and server that are both more useless than the other, I don’t know if it’s worse that the button genuinely changes you back to the same server or if the button purposefully doesn’t.
