Beware of subscription charges
I bought this device to see if it works and learned after that I had to have the app to make it work. That should’ve been a red flag. Regardless, I signed up for a 14 day trial. Unfortunately, after using the device for a week it was evident that it does absolutely nothing. So I returned the device and when I tried to cancel the app. I’d already been charged for three months! And they make it virtually impossible for you to contact anyone. Not a reputable way of doing business.

Is this a hoax
I bought a Pulsetto device and waited 4-5 weeks for it to be delivered. At this point I have only used it 4-5 times. Not sure if I am wearing it right and nothing that confirms position. Salt in the wound is that I have to now purchase a subscription to use it with meditation with the app. A bait and switch. Also, out of nowhere I get an email that I upgraded and apparently paid for a premium subscription which I never did. Seems like fraud. Reached out to customer service and still have not heard back. The promise was high but overall experience has been horrible. Surprised the ratings are so high. Skeptical.
Not working
I am going to return the device and I must have missed the 7 day free by a couple hours. Anyway to get a refund? It’s a $300 device plus $99 a year; that’s crazy! It did nothing to me though I followed directions and used everyday.
Auto charged without sign up
While the device is useful, they sign you up for a free trial without you knowing. Then after 14 days they charge you $45. I am still trying to figure out how to cancel because it's not an option on the app or their website? Shady af.

Suddenly after 4 months they silently decided to charge me 45 bucks for premium subscription, which I never ordered or asked for. That is stereotypical scummy behavior. I discovered and reversed it by complete accident.

I ordered this product and it came. I never signed up for an ongoing subscription. They keep taking money from my bank account and I can’t get them to quit. Be extremely careful if you ever order anything from this company. There’s no way to contact anybody.
Battery does not stay charged to use
I have used this quite a bit.. I don’t know if it helped. But, I charge and I can’t turn it off. So it is going when I am not using it. So, I can only use it after I juice it for an hour. It’s a pain. And now I’m being charged $34 every 3 mos to use the app. No one told me that. I am not impressed. This is a scam.
Most of the reviews are fake
Good device, bad company. They try extract money from you at every turn instead of figuring out a business model that works. The whole subscription model makes little sense for what they offer.
Snake Oil
The hardware requires you to first lube up before pressing the on button. Sometimes the device syncs, sometimes it doesn’t. Either way you still have to get that lube off of your neck. Have fun!
App is always broken, which makes the product not work
I’ve never had such a buggy system that is always going down. It would’ve been better off to have ChatGPT right the entire thing.
Unusable
When their server goes down unexpectedly (or your internet goes offline, or you put your phone in airplane mode), it bricks your device and makes it unusable.
So far lots of trouble, no benefit
Was really excited to try this device to see if it could help increase my HRV. So far, I ordered the device, took over 6 weeks to get. Then I downloaded the app and it has been a joke. It has me signing in every time I open the app and then it gotten to the point that I can’t even get the app to open, it’s just stuck in a sign in loop. I have a Whoop band and it supposed to interface with it, it doesn’t. The interface, when it is working (which so far has been 2 of 10 attempts), is cluttered and not intuitive. I’m regretting buying this piece of garbage.

Don’t get logged out
I got logged out (unknown how) and now I can’t get back into the app to use my device. There is no way to get assistance with the app because it just reroutes you to buy another device. I’m so frustrated that if I’m not able to use this I’ll be forced to return it.
Unusable app
I’ve attempted to create an account on both the Apple and android versions of this app and it just won’t let me create an account or login no matter what I try, whether it’s manual account creation, Apple login, or Google login.
I wouldn’t be judging the device based off these issues if it were usable without the app, but the device is locked to the app and that seems ridiculous given how much it costs. Hoping that somebody will reach out to provide some support, otherwise I’m going to need to return this device since it is literally unusable without the app.

BRIGHT LIGHTS KEEP YOU AWAKE
This device is so thoughtlessly created. Connecting to the app is constantly janky. And it flashes BRIGHT BLUE AND PURPLE LIGHTS when you’re using it to try to sleep.
This app is annoying
Just got my Pulsetto and after only one session I'm annoyed with this busted app. First it is just filled with visual noise, there are dozens of distractions on the home screen. Once you get into the session walkthrough it asks you to click the highlighted icon but nothing looked highlighted to me. When I did figure out what it was trying to get me to tap it kept repeating "sit back, unwind, and let pulsetto take care of the rest". It kept repeating that over and over often stuttering the first "sit back" part. i was looking for a way to make it shut up so I could relax but like annoying on-hold music it kept repeating that stupid statement. Then it wanted me to provide feedback but doesn't use a keyboard that can be minimized so there was no way to click the submit button. It's pretty rare for me to have buyers remorse this quickly but here I am wishing I had bought a different product.
Great when it works
Love it when it works. However on multiple occasions I cannot login to use the device and support is of no help when this happens. This is so frustrating.
Disappointing
It's supposed to help get deeper sleep but I'm not getting those results (as measured by my Oura ring). In addition, I've been unable to log in twice inn the last couple weeks.

The app won’t load and the product doesn’t work without it. I’ve updated the app and changed my password and tried multiple times. I’ve only used a few times and it’s been nothing but a headache.

Does not work without Internet connection
At heart, this is a simple app that uses a Bluetooth connection to trigger a program on the Pulsetto device. So obviously it requires a Bluetooth connection, but why it requires an actual Internet connection and cannot be used without one is an extreme limitation. Don’t have Internet coverage? Tend to put your phone in airplane mode at night? Sorry you can’t use the app or the device you actually paid for.
Not a great experience
I like this product but the app has been completely unusable twice since I got my device two weeks ago. The end of session immediate repeat isn’t ideal. If you don’t click done it doesn’t count your session toward a streak. Fairly disappointed for a product at this price point.

Unbelievable, this device is great but the app constantly stops working and won’t log you into your account. Without logging in you can’t use the device. It’s useless. Can’t use app, can’t use device without app
The app logged me out and I can’t log back in. Restarted app, restarted phone, reinstalled app, ect. Makes the device literally useless. There is (ridiculously) no way to use it without the app. That you’ve logged into.
App is awful, device works well
The Pulsetto device worked great when I first tried it, but then when I went back the second day the app wouldn’t connect at all, and provided no way for me to use the device without logging in via the app. And there was no way to log in because the app wouldn’t connect. Full WiFi access on the phone, same connection as the day before, everything else was the same.

Every time I open it up, it logged me out and then I try to log back in and it says out of service in the next day it works, but then it doesn’t work for a few days. It does not work without being logged in, so it’s kind of like a brick.

I’m shocked to have just started using this device and the app appears useless. Which wouldn’t be a deal breaker except for the fact that you can’t use the device without the app. So disappointed. Thankful for the 30 day return window.
Fix the app!
The device is great but the app is horrendous. I used it for 3 days then I couldn’t log on. The next day when I was able to log on, it had lost all of my sessions and my Oura connection. There have now been 2 additional time that I have been unable to log on. The device is USELESS without the app!!!
Glitchy App
This is the second time that I try to start a session and the app does not login at all and has server issues furthermore, when you’re in the middle of a session and you click on the affirmations, it only shows about 6of them before it keeps giving default blank ones after. It’s a great device, but the app fixed and developed better. Please consider testing the app before the update is released to everybody.
No instructions
There is no where on how to use the device itself. Just the app. The thing is making my arm twitch or my throat hurt. What nonsense, the fake online tutorial shows a guy wearing totally incorrectly according to blogs and only talks about the app. What a waste of money. Returning it soon
Charged for premium and cannot access it
This app is a joke. I was supposed to get a free trial of the premium app that did not happen. I was then charged for the premium app and still do not have access. Customer support is unable to help. When you add this to the fact that shipping was delayed forever when I ordered my device I’m feeling like any other vagus nerve device would have been a better choice. Steer clear of Pulsetto.

Lowkey most of the cool features are premium happy to use just the basic features but was charged the $50 monthly price when I didn’t want to and no hep when reached out to customer service? Not a 1 star because I do actually like the product an anyone reading this should look into coherent breathing
Really cool device, but sneaky app
The device is amazing. Be careful as they will automatically sign you up for a premium trial and bill you without warning. They make it very difficult to cancel it on thier website as well.
Also my device frequently disconnects from the app with is annoying.

Battery
I ave read tat some have problems related to the battery. Claims like just charged and the app reports the battery level is low. I am quite confident that the software is not properly handling battery information. There is also a small (really stupidly small) battery icon - other products call this a “gas gauge.” The gas gauge better follows what the battery level appears to be in reality. I have detailed the results I made in testing this and reported this to Pulsetto.tech - but they are really SLOW in making a fix. If the gas gauge processing seems to actually represent the charge level, then a programmer could make some rather simple changes to the programming logic, but that seems to be a challenge.
You have been duped
You just spent $200 on a device that is ABSOLUTELY USELESS unless you have this app. Problem is, they took your money and didn’t upkeep the app. Numerous times I needed to use my Pulsetto, but app is not working.
