Disappointment
Genuinely this game is such a disappointment. I bought it because like everyone else, nostalgia. I wish I could go back in time to tell my younger self to enjoy it because the 2026 version would be so trash.

the game isn't even a game, its just tap tap tap, there's ur nostalgia now gimme my money. its a money grab that's a direct copy of a game from my childhood. they did the bare minimum and nothing more. because once they get their $2 they don't care about whose fond memories they're taking advantage of. they just want their measly profit from the occasional kid whose mourning their youth.
Not like Windows Classic Game and Glitches
Ever so often the entire game board shrinks and the squares overlap each and the only way to get it back to normal is back out and get back in and (most of the time), this starts a new game. Annoying and useless. Definitely not like the original, which would be okay (sort of), if it didn’t glitch.

i was looking for this game for the longest but it was only on the old pc software so i finally found it on the app store and it’s not the same as before, completely different and not really anything to do anymore its boring and light work🤦🏽♀️, even though it’s just $2 it’s not worth those $2.

This is a generic version of the game. Not the same creator. Wouldn’t suggest spending the $1.99.

It’s not what you think but it is what you think it was, it’s those games but they aren’t the same and don’t play out as they did when you played it before, the idea is there but the execution isn’t the best.

This is a soulless attempt at replicating something that was great. The updated graphics ruin it, the dolls don't register moves half the time. You only get to make one tier cakes on a belt that needs to be moved manually.
It's not even close to the original or even fun for that matter. It's just a soulless cash grab at nostalgia.

Nostalgic disappointment
I remember playing this game as a kid and purchased it immediately after seeing it on the App Store. Imagine my disappointment when I realized the cake game, my absolute favorite, was made into a simple cake copying game without an ounce of difficulty.
The conveyor belt does not even move on its own anymore and at most you’ll make a one tier cake. Don’t waste your money and just reminisce through memories.

Clearly they read everyone’s 5 star reviews talking about the nostalgia it brought and realised they could make money off of it. Pretty pitiful. I downloaded this when it was free and was flabbergasted it was $2 when I told my friend to download it. Inflation even be hittin the games now……

Nostalgic, but not worth $1.99
I absolutely adored this game when it was one of the few game options of the time, among solitaire and minefield. For years I’ve yearned for another chance to play the cake game, hear the sound effects and see the flying clovers… I was so excited to think I could finally relive those fond memories, however, this recreation hasn’t met my expectations, whatsoever. At first I thought $1.99 was a modest price for the revival of the Purble Place I remember, but this game simply isn’t it. Although most of the visuals are wonderful, I feel a lot more effort could have been put into the actual gameplay. I’ve never purchased a game from the App Store before, but I really got my hopes up. I don’t understand why or how this game could be worth the two dollars.
It’s very different
When I was little like around 4-5 I used to love to play the game and I loved it because of how it was made but now its very much different and I want it to be normal and restored to its old self please.
