Took my money
I took the opportunity to get a free trial and it ended. I was keeping the subscription because I enjoyed the app enough to. I was charged which I expected until I went in the app. I went to play a song and then realized that it acted as if I didn’t have the subscription. I went to see in settings and it did infact say I had no subscription. It was as if I cancelled when I didn’t. When i went to my apple subscriptions I realized I was charged for nothing. I guess I am not going to use this app again.
Playback rarely works smoothly, USA
Wanted Spotify alternative, even imported all my playlists but the app doesn’t work well, playback keeps getting stopped

Edit: I’m changing my rating from 2 stars to 1 star as I sent an e-mail to the address that was given to me by Qobuz via the comment on this review… a week later I still have yet to receive any response from customer service.

Is this a scam
I signed up and am paying $17 a month and then today it reverted to a non paid subscription even though it shows in apple as paid. I cancelled my subscription moving forward. Liked it, but this fraud.
Horrible Ui
I don’t know why I can’t favorite playlists to have them at the top of my list. Also the downloads won’t stop when I’m on roaming data, there’s no stop downloads button. Y’all need to seriously do better if you want to be taken seriously as a music streaming app.
Glitchy App
I've contacted customer service five times about ongoing issues with the app constantly freezing and glitching. Each time, I have to restart my phone and computer. Despite promises to email me back, I never received any response. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially after spending hundreds of dollars on a year-long subscription-money I invested in a service I haven’t been able to enjoy fully.
Stops while listening to downloads
I really want to like this app and am not giving up on it quite yet. Hoping the bugginess is addressed. Songs will stop midstream even if downloaded. It will pause between songs (sometimes after every song) and you have to hit play again. App crashes fairly often. Would love to change this review once these are addressed
Great quality … if it works
I am already going through the endless back and forth with your team to figure out why my music is CONSTANTLY stopping. As someone who works in a lab and wears gloves, this is extremely disruptive and not something I’ve ever encountered with other streaming apps.
I really like many things about the app habit you NEED to fix this issue ASAP. Also, many of your libraries are incomplete or incorrect. I often get alerts that artists I’ve liked have dropped new albums or songs only to discover the album or song being referenced by Qobuz is a completely different artist with either identical or very similar names. Additionally, you guys take too long to address missing items in your selection. Was super excited to leave Spotify given their war profiteering CEO but I may have to go fund JayZ instead (🤢)

Music abruptly stops in car constantly
This app would be great if the audio didn’t cut out randomly while driving all the time! Happens when connected to bluetooth and also carplay. I’m very close to switching to something else if you don’t fix this soon!!
Unusable
Recent glitches have made this app completely unusable. Downloads disappear, playback stops, songs and even whole playlists/albums become unavailable because of errors. Disappointing because it was working fine up until a month or two ago, but errors have multiplied seemingly everyday. Gonna have to find a different streamer. :(

Update: I emailed them and provided the information they requested and am now being ignored. Again. So you get a very buggy and inconsistent app and no help if something goes wrong with Qobuz.

What is unacceptable is when the app updates and you can no longer open the now playing queue. That vastly limits the functionality of the app- no skip or back button in the app (I have to use the widget) and having to search for the album currently playing to like songs. I have waited for over a week to hear from the customer service team and have gotten no response. That is enough for me to cancel my subscription and find a new alternative. So while some of their values are good and the sound quality can be great, there’s no way I can recommend trying them as a Spotify alternative anymore.

I was very hopeful using this app as it is a spotify alternative but it has been a poor experience. Using the app to find albums of artists and use the radio function are frustrating and disappointing. Worst part by far however is the connectivity issues that happen seemingly out of nowhere. I will be trying to use the app and it will say “it is impossible to play this track due to an error.” This happens even if you app was working mere moments before. To be honest this wouldn’t be a big deal but in paying 17 bucks a month that continues to have issues for quite literally no reason. So, while the app was neat, please be aware of its connectivity issues and different UI.
App objectively doesn’t work
I don’t understand how this app has such high reviews. Songs don’t load unless I have full 5G service, settings don’t hold, it constantly errors that I am not in the US, and the recommended songs are horrendous. So disappointing.

It takes a handful of seconds to play the next song after I hit “next” to where I’m not sure if it fully registered that I hit to button, so I’ll press it again and skip through multiple songs. It’s disruptive for when I’m trying to listen in the car, in the gym or while I’m working and has not been enjoyable to where I just haven’t been using it.

Mac Miller for example, the discography on Qobuz is shameful. I do appreciate the high quality audio and other features but the usability is fairly atrocious at some points, especially considering your competitors. If you listen at home it would probably be a good app but if you mainly use it while driving, DO NOT GET THIS APP until they improve this issue. Also, they clearly don’t read reviews based on the languages they respond in.
(The sound quality, the ease of transferring playlists and artists from Spotify was great. My biggest frustration is that it works terribly with CarPlay. It will just cut out and stop playing and you have to pull over to restart the app and get it to play again. It also doesn’t keep your place in playlists most of the time. With those fixes this would be a great app.)

Needs Work
Dropping to two stars since today, I listened to a song. I have been trying to listen again to the same somg and I get a network error message yet everything else works. Please fix. All these bugs are irritating. paid for a year but I might switch back to my old app well before that time is up. Too many "impossible to play" scenarios most of which are not true. Music will randomly stop. Will not continue even after hitting play. These are the most efregious problems. I want my music to play and for tracks to finish through. I don't mind the clunkier UI and delayed responsiveness at its best, but I can't tolerate an app bugging out so often in a single day let alone really ever. Hope my experience improves. And please translate your responses. Thank you.
Horrible Streaming
Even with downloaded music, the streaming functionary is abysmal. Whether it be on WiFi or not, songs are slow to play and sometimes the next songs don’t play until after you go back in the app and click play manually.
Also, the app tends to freeze if you hit too many buttons in a somewhat quick fashion.
Qobuz, please address these issues. I really really want to like you but these issues have been really terrible.

It’s ok
It’s a good think I hate Spotify more than I like Qobuz otherwise I wouldn’t use this app. User experience is not bad but not great either. Will occasionally crash and just quit. Setting a queue is somehow harder than it should be.
Will keep using it as I believe it does a better job supporting artist but expect growing pains..

love qobuz, the app could use some work
i love this streaming service the music sounds so crisp and i love that yall pay artists more. however- the app stops playing songs on playlists when im not actively in the app. it just turns off after every single song i have to go in and press play. i’ve stopped listening to music on my commute and it’s making me aggravated. i’m not the only one who’s had this problem please please patch it i can’t live like this
Glitchy
App is not consistent as it use to work well with my Apple Watch but but now you can’t put songs on repeat or relisten to a song without it stopping. Not great for working out bc there is no setting it and then forget it. Also lack of lyrics seems a miss. I switched bc I wanted to give the artist more of their deserved rights but shouldn’t come at my inconvenience
Don’t bother if your not going to subscribe
Literally all of the music you would want to listen to you can’t listen too cuz it’s high rez or whatever however it will not let you pick a regular version. You wanna listen to an album? Too bad you can listen to the chorus.

I found their music library to be lacking, and was disappointed in the curated playlist even after using the app for a couple of months.
App Needs Work
I LOVE the values of Qobuz. Their focus on human content is so important these days. Sound quality is absolutely excellent. However the app is kind of glitchy and CarPlay is buggy.
Also, whenever I try and stream even cd quality on cellular it skips music or won’t load. Even when I know my connection is solid and can stream lossless just fine on Apple Music. Lastly, where are lyrics??
