The app needs age filters or rooms dedicated to adults meeting adults. As of right now it’s just an app for catfishes and that dude you went to high school with that probably shouldn’t be allowed within 100 feet of a playground.

I tried using the app and understanding how it works, but the purpose seems nonsensical. It was impossible to use and I couldn’t understand why people would use this. Also the developers kinda seem like jerks :/

I’m logged out
I was about to give this the best rating but after I had got off quack to got to sleep I guess I *was under age* and it took me off so now I can’t even use my number to get in anymore because it says incorrect code when that code was sent to me.
Phone number
The app ask for my phone number and I gave it my number. And it was supposed to send me a code and it didn’t
Spammers
There are tons of people on this app just to send nudes, and their sending them to servers literally called " 13 year olds only" or " teens unite" and even after the videos that their sending are reported for inappropriate content, they aren't removed. The app itself works well, but the reporting system doesn't work well, and there isn't anything blocking inappropriate videos, or links.
pedo app
this app makes it very easy for people over 18 to act under 18, yes +18 people cant dm people under 18 but they can lie about there age very easily and say they are under age to talk to kids under age, apps that allow kids to DM without proper verification is just asking for pedophiles, id suggest disabling kids under 18 to he able to DM i or use this app in general considering its high risk of being infested with pedophiles

Don’t do it this app. Is literally for kids who are12-17 and there are group chats with adults who are in there 40s talking about the kids is cute and stuff there are too many adult pedophiles on this app
No Age Range safety parameters.
I feel there is a very serious safety concern as anyone of any age can DM and chat together. There is really no reason I (18+) should be able to add and talk to someone as young as 13. There are open chat rooms where people of all ages can interact (one room i was in had a 23 and 13 y/o talking at the same time). I believe this system can be advantage of and requires action.

I had $14 “on hold” for almost a week and then it just disappeared. Is this a scam app? Deleting.
Also, don’t respond telling me that there are “rules clearly stated”. I understand that. I know some of my referrals were random Facebook friends, so some might not have followed them, but I know for a fact at least 2-3 were legitimate signups, following all the rules, and the money still disappeared. It was on hold for way longer than 48 hours. Complete waste of time.

The devs are unprofessional with their responses as you can tell my going to the most critical reviews. they beg and plead for your contacts, and if you deny access because you don’t feel comfortable with them having everybody’s information, you basically can’t use the app. and there are so many much better alternatives. If your looking for new friends, don’t download the app. It’s sub titled ‘friends of friends’ and enforces it a lot, and the entire app just feels like it wants to control you, and get info.

So they sent me a private response instead of responding publicly here saying “ You know Insta syncs your contacts right? Why? Because they want to suggest friends to you that they think you will want to connect with. Same with us. Your contact information is always private. Never shared. For your eyes only.”
But here’s the thing. It’s optional for insta. It’s required for this.

LOCATION
look I want to love this app, I really do. This app needs to have a setting that lets you only say the town near you NOT YOUR EXACT LOCATION. When you make a group, everyone in it can see exactly where you are. That makes me feel so unsafe. I turned off my location for the app but then that means I cannot join local groups and in that case, what’s the point of this app.
Just make a feature that lets you put the town you live in, not the address. ASAP

I’m not “old enough”
I can’t really give it a high review because I can’t try it out for myself. The App Store says that it’s for ages 12 and up, me being 12, decided to try it out. Sadly, once I entered my DOB I wasn’t allowed to sign up.
It won’t let me upload a picture
The app doesn’t work at all it lets you use a few taps to try to get money but then it askes for a picture it won’t let you upload one and when you summit a help request they don’t respond it’s a scam
The Last Tao Game
While playing the game it locks you out at random and says you need to add another friend to unlock it. I think a game should be able to pay for its own advertisement and not make players do it for free. I have since deleted the game and will not be re-downloading. I would not recommend this game to anyone, huge waste of time.

I thought this app was going to use your Facebook or Snapchat friends to find you friends. But instead you have to use your contacts and invite people to download the app to make friends. That’s really invasive to me. I don’t want everyone knowing I downloaded this app lol and I don’t want to depend on my friends downloading the app to decide if I make friends or not. I downloaded the app and it was not very good, I tried putting my photos and it kept saying it wasn’t me and that I need to put pictures of myself. All my photos were of me, I didn’t use any photos that weren’t mine, and it wouldn’t let me upload my photos because I was violating community guidelines. There was no nudity or anything inappropriate in the picture , all pictures were from my shoulders up, and I was wearing a hoodie in each one , so I don’t understand why I couldn’t upload my photos, I wish there was an option to take a photo and verify that it is me, so that I can upload the photos I want to put on my profile.

First things first...DONT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!! It’s a waste of time. I’ve been in so many chats with perverted and creepy men; I don’t feel comfortable. This app is weird, stupid, and annoying. Don’t waste your time. I was only on this app for 10 minutes and look where it’s brought me... NO WHERE! If you want a real platform to make friends, use Snapchat or Instagram. This app is just a copy of these to apps. The developers only want money out of this and they don’t care about our safety.

Location on hours
Okay so I got the app and made a group then I realized it’s literally showing where I live... on a map for anyone nearby to see... I don’t feel safe with that please please remove it don’t show the map on groups it’s creepy and very alarming. What if a predator downloads this and some how manages to get into your group and find where you live...

There is no lie, it’s an app to make friends. I used it for 20min and that was all I need to be freaked out. They’re so many children in this app some as young as 5. I know that that app can’t control who’s on it, but I tried to report their account and it seemed like nothing was happening. I just get really bad vibes from seeing this I had to delete my account.

I read all the reviews about this app sending messages to your contacts. I thought, “Hey, just deny it access to your contacts in your phone settings. Easy enough.” But no, this app locks the majority of its features until you give it access to your contacts. I’ve never seen an app work so hard to get ahold of my friend’s and family’s phone numbers. There isn’t a way around it, and that makes me uncomfortable.

if for some reason you're wondering why i may or may not be the only comment who is disliking the app, it's probably because the other reviews are fake. don't get me wrong, Quack is 100% legitimate, & can definitely help you find some new friends. but it just doesn't belong in today's society. it's not good enough. it gets boring after 5 minutes. i feel like there should be some major changes. Quack is like a mixture of Instagram & Snapchat, all in one app. i feel like the app should have it's own style. it's own ideas. it'll really get somewhere someday, but today i've simply had my worst experience.
