Problem

After a few days of playing, my saved game is no longer loading. Please help!

I really really enjoy this game, however it will not load passed the second screen after choosing which character and name you want!

Alright but boring
The game itself is kinda boring for me, I appreciate that a lot of other people enjoy it but it's a bit too slow and clunky to be of much entertainment value. I found myself kinda mindlessly walking in circles at a few points and just lost interest when I got to one point I couldn't beat. It may be ok for some but I'm not really that impressed.
Glitch
I made it all the way to the wastelands right before the volcano and saved and now it won't load that file. It will let me load any other file and do quick play but it won't let me load my best file when I was so close to beating the game.
Cute but tedious
Charming pixel art and some humor can't rescue this game from being tedious to play. Combat is uninteresting and hollow, as the player and monster trade blows until one dies. Consumables are generally overpriced relative to equipment and scarcity. Maps get to be a chore to navigate. Save system is silly and makes it so that the fastest/cheapest way to heal is to sacrifice an apple and then kill yourself.
Horrible
The game is well put together but the RNG makes it infuriatingly tedious to play
