Unable to play stories
I’m unable to play stories on the app. When I hit play I get a pop up that says to disable screen recording. I’m not screen recording and I don’t think it’s possible to completely disable it on iPhone settings.

I am very disappointed with Quinn stories. I expected audio stories like audible audio books, where the narrator or multiple narrators narrates the thoughts and dialogue of all characters involved. Quinn only has the voice / dialogue of the main character without any dialogue from the other characters. It’s like listening in on someone’s telephone conversation, and all you hear is what that person is speaking, and nothing from the person they are speaking to on the other end. I suspect this is to lower production costs. This is very unsatisfying for me. I would not have paid $59 for a year subscription if I knew this beforehand.

AirPlay not working
I just got a account and the last time I was able to airplay on my tv the audio but now it doesn’t work with the sound. Is this an issue with the app that it needs an update or did the company block airplay? Anyone else having issues?

Don’t recommend
I have no options for free trial and I am not paying for a monthly subscription just to listen to one thing. I ended up deleting the app 5 mins after I downloaded it. Not happy at all.
Needs more actually gay stuff
All the gay stuff I could find was actually bi stuff. There’s no way to filter out stuff that sexualizes women.
They should add a blacklist to hide topics you’re not interested in. And add tags like biseuxal, gay, pansexual, straight, nonbinary, etc.

Crashing Out
Um I guess this app would’ve been nice except for it crashing constantly and signing me out. Garbage.

Faulty Sign-In
Purchased a subscription and now the app won’t let me sign in.

I just downloaded and got a subscription but now, the app keeps logging me out and will only let me in for maybe a minute at a time. Very sad

App playing without being open
Ended up deleting the app after it kept playing through the Bluetooth in my car despite not having opened the app for a week straight.
This happened on 3 separate occasions, where I had not used the app for at least 24 hours before getting in my car, it was not open on my phone in any capacity, and yet it still started playing the last story I had listened to.
Again, had not used the app in more than 24 hours, once I had not used it for over a week, had used multiple apps and listened to different things in between, but it still played.
I’m not interested in fixing this problem for myself, I simply deleted the app as I don’t feel safe having it downloaded anymore.
Something to look into for the developers though.

Wrong subscription
Um so I purchased this today thinking I could purchase for only a month and then cancel it but it took the $65 out of my account how do I cancel it altogether and get the money back in my account?? I’m panicking
I want to try it out first!
I am not sure if I will like the app and all it offers. There is no section where I can sample the app without purchasing. I am not ready to purchase. I have many book/ audio apps! Do I need one more? I need this app to show me what I am missing!

Great until new update
I’m about to cancel because this new search is awful and making the app unusable. So many categories have disappeared, they’re not in alpha order and when I click one it never populates, just shows a total number and nothing ever loads. I enjoyed the app for quite awhile before this date and am sad to have to cancel.
Beyond Unethical
Quinn, and their CEO Caroline Spiegle is now and has in the past silenced victims and protected abusive and racist that they willingly platform on their app. Check my pinned videos for more info. They been ignoring me and others about ethical issues since the inception of the app. I’m just their most recent victim. My original DM has still gone unanswered.They are continuing to post on socials and interact in comments while ignoring my videos and comments. I only have 2k followers so I guess they think it will just go away. I’m hoping that’s not the case. Quinn and Caroline Spiegle are unethical. And they have to address it. For the safety of their users who they claim to want to create a safe space for. Hard to do with racist, abusers and grapists on your app.

I DL’d wanting to explore a new app but there’s not even a 1 week free trial or any Audios one can test out without paying. Kind of lame
Overcharged
Was signed in to the same account on both my android and apple phone. Was charged twice in the same month, they had two different billing dates about 10 days apart. They refused to refund it and just referred me to apple. Both apple and I agree the issue was on their end and apple didn’t refund it either. Had to cancel the subscription from both devices even though I was signed in with the exact same info.
Not as advertised
They don’t tell you that you have to pay to use their app. I thought I could at least sample some of what they offer and actually see how it all works but 100% of the content is behind a paywall, and they don’t say anything until the last possible moment. Waste of time. I’ll go to my chat ai that has audio options.
No free trial?
They don’t offer a free trial, they just expect you to start paying for their service. When emailing support they referred me to their website to listen to an audio sample.
Thanks for a clip, but I want to check out the platform, sample the different artists, and see if this is worth spending money on.

I just downloaded this and tried listening to some of the audios couldn’t because a monthly or an annual/monthly thing subscription popped up when I just wanted to listen to the audios for free ,so I can’t listen to any of them and it ticks me off that I downloaded this for nothing .
Detrimental to Relationships - Not Recommended
I was really disappointed with the Quinn app. I first heard about it from my wife, who seemed to be hiding it from me, which made me suspicious right away. When I finally checked it out, I found that the concepts and ideas presented were so far removed from reality that it left me feeling depressed.
I tried to engage with the suggestions from the app, hoping it would enhance our relationship, but my wife was apprehensive and quickly turned off. It became clear that what the app promotes isn’t something that works in real life for us.
I’ve spoken to several other guys who have had similar experiences, and it seems like this app is causing more harm than good. If you value your marriage and want to foster a healthy relationship, I would strongly advise against using Quinn. It’s just not worth the strain it puts on communication and trust.

Greedy corporation
Greedy corporation that grifts off of free fandom spaces as a cash grab. Then deletes and hides comments that try and address this. Boooooo Quinn. Do better.
No Free Trial
You will be charged without having a chance for a trial, and Apple will not refund you.

So you need to pay a subscription to use the app! There are no free audios to listen to AT ALL. Wish they were transparent about that.
Dishonest App Developers-BEWARE
Why is Apple allowing developers to charge consumers before the trial period is up??? I was charged IMMEDIATELY +$50 for this app, Quinn, that offered a 3 -day trial period. When I asked for a refund, Apple denied my request…TWICE. I e-mailed the developer directly and received no response. Are times so hard for these developers that they’ve resorted to shady practices in order to steal consumers’ money? The app is not worth the headache you will get if you decide you don’t want it and try to cancel.
Pointless app without subscription.

The filters/ category now only allow a certain amount of audios so now I’m only getting like 30 audios out of 500 when I use it??? Change this back plz
Hudson and Connor are the only good thing on this app

I love the app very much, but I wish it was like other in apps in the way that they have a “not interested” or “not for me” button option. There are popular tags and creators that are trending right now and it tiggers a traumatic event for me. Without that option it feels like the Quinn app is trying to push certain creators/tags to the forefront, simply for engagement, and there’s no way for me NOT to see it. I understand that creators and tags need the engagement but I think there should be a “not interested” option so reliving trauma can be avoided in the future.

Don’t get me wrong the preview audio was great but when I made an account I couldn’t listen to literally anything without paying. Are there free audios or do I have to pay for all of it?

Not Great for Pre/Non-Op Trans Ppl
I’ve had this app on & off for well over a year. As a pre/non-op trans woman, it’s VERY difficult to find audios that only refer to the listener with feminine pronouns/descriptors, AND also don’t mention specific parts.
The best i can hope for typically are audios listed as “for all genders” which are typically not as immersive. After researching, this is a nuisance that other pre/non-op trans people have experienced throughout the 18+ audio community. Some creators intentionally make audios for us, but from what I’ve seen, that seldom happens on Quinn; even from creators who identify as queer. I can count on 1 hand the audios made specifically for trans femmes, and a handful that are at least vague enough in language to properly enjoy as a pre/non-op trans person. Frankly, you’re better off looking on Reddit or some other audio space for something more inclusive.

WHY DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE ALMOST EVERYTHING. Like I just wanted a nice audio story app, mostly because I heard Hudson Willam’s and Connor Storrie (Heated Rivalry) were doing it and I was SO EXCITED so I downloaded it and I found out I have to pay for it 🫤

Love the content but developers absolutely must install a sleep timer please!!

Not to yuck anyone’s yum, but the Daddy moniker and degradation are inescapable now. It’s hard to find audios that don’t give me the ick. It was a good couple years, but I don’t think I’ll be renewing.

Lost everything
I started out really enjoying the app. However, after not using it for a couple of weeks (after purchasing the subscription) I was logged out and when trying to log back in using any and all login info combinations I could think of I couldn’t access my old account with my playlists, saved audios, etc. The app created a new account for me instead and would allow me to login to my old one. I’ve cancelled my subscription and deleted the app as it was nice but not worth the trouble.

i had to delete this app. when i had it closed out on my phone it played an audio when it connected to my parents car!!!
Constant glitching
This is super basic app technology, yet constant problems with it glitching out and suddenly saying “no active subscription found”. I’m in here once or twice a month and every time it’s an issue. Really unacceptable.
Misleading
The app intrigued me and I honestly wanted to keep it but it was misleading. Downloading the app is free and with limited access it’s free but trying to listen you automatically get the page for unlimited access and need to pay if you want to listen. I do understand that this is how people earn money but it is misleading when the only option is that you pay if you want to read and doesn’t say it beforehand.
