Payed twice, still not able to send texts
I must say the concept of this app is amazing. However I have been trying to set up SMS messaging for my business but upon trying to get registered it keeps declining. I have fixed all the criteria’s and made sure it was good, however even after paying the registration fee twice they will not register my account. I have tried reaching out numerous times to get this resolved however I am just met with a message system that takes days if not weeks to reply for them to just say “checking in” there has been no resolution and I am also paying the monthly rate as well. I understand that there is a process and requirement for this set up but I am dissatisfied with this app so far. I would love to get this resolved and change my rating please reach out to me sooner than possible

If i could give zero stars to this company i would. They have blocked me multiple times for using the app. I live in South America and I call american companies. Never once have i used this app to contact a personal number. Instead of them asking, they block my ability to call. Which cost me a lot of money. DO JOT USE THIS APP. Needs to be deleted from the app stores ASAP. They will charge you and then block you, then make it impossible to reopen your account. I repeat DO NOT USE!!!!!

So many technical issues
We’ve had a very frustrating experience using Quo as our third-party phone service for our business. While we do like the system overall, the ongoing issues have made it increasingly difficult to rely on.
We’ve encountered repeated problems with undelivered messages-texts often show as sent but are never received by our clients. In some cases, messages appear unread on our end even after clients have responded, creating confusion and miscommunication.
We’ve also experienced frequent dropped calls and poor call quality, including static and robotic-sounding audio. On multiple occasions, clients have told us they never received texts that we can verify were sent, forcing us to send screenshots just to confirm communication.
These issues are especially concerning when running a business, where reliable communication is critical. We would truly appreciate these problems being taken seriously, as they directly impact business operations. At this point, the system’s strengths are being overshadowed by these ongoing reliability concerns.
The automated service just makes you more frustrated. When trying to resolve the issues.

Terrible, absolutely terrible
For starters the prices on the website are about 30% less than when you actually try to sign up for the subscription. No ability to pay yearly (advertised to be cheaper that way) because they only give you the option for monthly (more expensive).
Website advertised $15/line. Actual cost before taxes and fees $21/month.
Then when you try to activate the account and number they cut it off immediately and start demanding private financial information (EIN/SSN/business formation docs/etc.) FOR A FREE TRIAL.
This reeks of a scam. How am I to expect a VOiP app to work when you can’t even set it up without being lied to and screwed around.
Look elsewhere or get a new line with an actual carrier. I guess AT&T is getting more of my business.

Good app but confusing onboarding
I am a small business owner. I’m a professional gardener and just work as a solo entrepreneur and I have got this new system that links on my client calls to their profile, but I need to kind of have my own business phone number to be able to link it because otherwise all my friends and families texts go to that software as well so I researched and“ seems to be like a really robust system for having a business/work phone number, however it has been a week of trying to get my phone number approved so I could text people and it keeps getting rejected. The “team is being rather responsive to help me get it figured out, but I just feel as though “could make the on boarding process a little bit easier for solo entrepreneurs. They’re asking for all these things as if we’re like an automated messaging thing I will use automated messaging in the sense of checking in with clients to remind them to water and stuff, but I’m not a big business that’s sending like spam marketing emails and texts. I’m just trying to get a business phone number and it has been incredibly difficult and frustrating. I just feel with as big as a company that quote is they should’ve had this figured out for us better.
Update - I have had to pay so far: $275 for a year subscription, $15x4 because they keep rejecting my application for different reasons. It has been a week of my life, over $300 spent and no results. A scam

Customer support is extremely limited-mostly bots, and when a real person does respond, communication stops and you’re left without resolution. Refunds were promised but never processed, and there’s no straightforward way to cancel the subscription from the dashboard.
There are also concerns around number porting. Requests to cancel a scheduled port were ignored, which is a serious issue for anyone using this as a business line.
Overall, the lack of transparency, billing clarity, and reliable support makes this hard to recommend. I would strongly suggest doing thorough research before signing up.

A phone company I can’t get on the phone with🤔
Goal: have a separate phone number for work on my personal phone.
Experience: trash. Ironic calling it “technical support” when technically I got NO support. Only thing Quo was good at was swiping my credit card. Told me I had to register my phone in order to send texts..which cost a 🤡one time $20 activation fee🤮 to then get it declined?? (My application got declined, they still charged my card of course 🙄)Finally get a response from tech support..where they said I’d just need to resubmit payment🧐 but it’ll only cost $15 this time 🧚‍♀️👹 I’ve previously used OpenPhone, I know how it works, and I’m a busy mf at work plus chat gpt said it was legit…Fine take my stupid $15 whatever, just let me text my clients / be on shaky calls. Or nahhhhh…🤬 at that point I just sent them an email saying I expect a full refund and Claude (my new AI bc obviously had to dump chat gpt lying ahh) told me about Sideline. It’s very smooth so far considering I’m able to send texts and the calls don’t randomly drop and are clear 🥰

They have been charging our card even after we canceled the subscription and deleted the account. I also requested the receipts for our transaction and they say log in to your profile. How can I log in if my account doesn’t exist now because I canceled my subscription. As soon as you cancel subscription you account just disappear.

A scam
This app is terrible. It automatically logs you out. When you try to log back in, it tries to force you to create a new account. It took numerous times to get. A phone number, which is the whole reason I wanted it. I am being charged $57 per month. I have no idea why. There are no plan details or credit card details under “Plan & Billing” menu. Yet another app that wants to take your money with no real service or accountability. Good luck cancelling with their ridiculous AI customer service too. Stay FAR, FAR AWAY.

I hope the service it better than the support
So far, the app seems to be what I need but I've had to figure it out completely myself. I'll send a support request, they respond with "If you'd like to follow up, please reply to this email." Well that's what I'm emailing you, so that's completely useful. And that's been the response every time. So far, support is better from my Smooth Fox Terrier. At least he's cute. QUO - completely useless so far. Fun.

Misguided leadership
New rebrand making everything look ugly. Dark mode now has background color black instead of a more elegant dark purple. Instead of actually improving core functionality such as how new messages on phone only appearing after 10 second wait, or replying directly to a message in team chat, they focus on adding more bright yellow colors so their UI looks trash. International calls that do not connect are still billed anyway. Their support emails are mostly just canned responses and do not address your issue directly. Wait times for a response can be up to 4-6 days.

Missed calls and business
Switched to Quo to have a call menu and try to reduce spam calls. Now we don’t get about 50% of important calls. Our phones do not ring and we just get a message that “no one answered” later on. Have tried contacting support several times with no help at all and zero solutions to fix it. It’s unfortunate because it would be a really cool addition to our business if it just worked as it is supposed to.

Horrible Customer Service
I am extremely disappointed with my experience using Quo.
For a company that provides phone services, it should not be this difficult to reach customer support. There is no simple way to speak with a human representative. You are forced to go through multiple automated steps just to request help, and most communication is routed through AI before you can even attempt to reach a real person. I repeatedly had to ask for a representative before I was finally connected to someone. Email responses take days, and you typically receive only one reply at a time, making it incredibly slow and frustrating to resolve urgent issues.
I have paid over $200 for this service and experienced problems from the beginning. It took more than two weeks to register my number before I was even able to send text messages. When I initially requested a refund due to the delay, it was denied. After continued follow-up, I was refunded $15 despite having spent close to $300. Only after pushing further did they issue an additional $70 refund.
One of the biggest ongoing issues is the constant spam phone calls. I am receiving frequent spam calls throughout the day, which is unacceptable for a paid business phone service. I have tried every available option to stop them. I have adjusted settings, reported spam, and even started manually blocking random numbers just to get some relief. The problem is that this is my business line. I cannot simply ignore or block every unfamiliar number because I do not know whether it is a potential customer or just another spam caller. This puts me in a difficult position where I either risk missing legitimate clients or continue dealing with nonstop interruptions.
It appears I was assigned a recycled number, which likely explains the volume of spam calls. If that is the case, it should have been addressed immediately or replaced with a clean number.
For a paid business phone service, I expected reliability, better screening tools, and responsive customer support. Instead, this experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and disappointing.

There is zero customer service
They don’t have any live agents. They hide behind emails and offer zero customer service and zero help with any issue that you have. Also text messaging does not work as soon as you sign up so now we have a business phone that we can’t text our customers back on which is absolutely ridiculous. Garbage service
Has gone downhill majorly since becoming QUO. Never had an issue with OpenPhone now that it’s QUO I receive 12-15 spam calls a day from outside the USA. They sold customers numbers data to profit. They are not here to help. They have no contact besides a chat bot. Email them and they do not respond with humans once again just automated chat bot messages. Service is glitchy and weak. I will be switching service elsewhere. It’s a shame OpenPhone was great, QUO doesn’t belong on this earth.

I will be canceling my plan after being a paying member for a long time because the app constantly signs me out, and then to make matters worse the only do two factor login and the email take forever to come in. Signs me out almost daily. I do not have time for that as a business owner and I would strongly advise anyone not to use their service due to this. Ring central is better and similar price. I already have ring central but decided to put a couple phone numbers on this app and regret it.

Calls don’t come through
Content issues with clients reaching out saying that they are calling during business hours and nobody answers the phone. I’ve tried calling myself and my clients aren’t wrong. The iPhone app, iPad app, and desktop app don’t ring through. Instead it goes directly to the AI assistant that I’ve disabled because I’ve been told by customer service it doesn’t work properly. But I’m finally posting a review because I lost a client tonight, not just any client. My biggest client, she refuses to work with me despite being set as a VIP and priority access.
