I would really like to leave a 5-star review. But the software is not production ready.
We couldn't send mms messages with attachments last week, and they still haven't completely fixed that issue.
The AI summary of calls can't spell my name correctly even though I'm the account owner.
The search feature can't search Contact Notes.
Those are all very basic features for any technology platform these days. The software really feels like it's beta-test software.

This is one of the worst phone companies I’ve ever experienced in my life from outages all the time to not being able to send messages to phone calls being dropped to unstable networks to the worst customer service they get back to you 24 hours later you lose sales, they don’t apologize. They don’t even offer you anything they don’t even give you a month free for letting you lose thousands of dollars because they can’t simply keep their phone lines from dropping trash company. I wish open phone never sold to them I don’t know who they are, but they need to go back to coding school.

Needed a separate number for my VERY busy construction business to try and reclaim part of my life. App came highly recommended. Once I logged on it wouldn’t let me past the “tell us about your business page” so I used the ai feature to describe the issue. The chatbot explained that screen didn’t exist. If there’s this much confusion and lack of accountability just trying to sign up I’d NEVER trust it to help run my company

Big Scam
We own a small business and the functions this app offers would be great IF THEY WORKED. They want you to pay a monthly that MAY OR MAY NOT get extra fees that there is little way of controlling. You also can NOT text without paying at least $20 to verify your number which WILL be denied AT LEAST one time and every time it is denied you have to pay the $20 again it is just a BIG SCAM.

Absolute Worst Customer Service
Absolute worst customer service and client experience I’ve ever had. It takes days for someone to reach out to you with an issue. I tried porting a number and it took my entire free trial to do. I effectively got 2 hours of my free trial before I paid $200 for a year. I asked for an extension because I was trying to port a number and they wouldn’t give me one. Then my number wouldn’t make outbound calls for 3 days after it was ported. It’s been 2 days and no has contacted me regarding my issues. Now I’ve paid $200 for a line I can’t use. Also, you can’t control your caller ID unless you have a business with a tax ID. You also can’t text without paying. The whole thing was an absolute scam.

Unreliable is an understatement
At least once a week I uninstall and reinstall this app in attempt to make it work. From randomly deleting calls, to not logging new ones, to forgetting saved contacts, to randomly closing, its function as a call and contact database laughably pathetic. And don’t get me started on the call and message quality. Calls drop, choppy/one-way audio, delayed audio, message sending failures due to “database errors”… I regularly beg my boss to find an alternative but he’s sunk too much into setting up his business around the numbers he paid for at the outset to turn things around. If you can help it, please don’t give them any more money until they turn this dumpster fire of an app into something that could passably be called functional.

So unhelpful
We use Quo for our business and today has been an absolute nightmare. We pay for call recording and our incoming calls are not only NOT being recorded, but many of them are not even showing up in the app at all. We are actively losing sales opportunities during one of our busiest times of year because customers are calling and the information is disappearing completely.
What has made this even more frustrating is the customer service experience. I have tried repeatedly to get help through chat on both my phone and computer. I’ve had agents join the chat and immediately leave without helping, and overall support has been incredibly difficult to reach and unhelpful.
This issue is directly impacting our business and costing us money. If you rely on accurate call tracking and customer communication for your business, be aware of the problems we’ve experienced.

This is probably most woke and worst company to deal with, after using their services always paying year in advance for multiple numbers and users always being compliant and never having issues they decided to freeze our account as being suspicious because they use AI to detect spam or whatever. Unable to Text, Hidden Fees, Lack of help support
I’m unable to use the texting feature. Had to pay an application twice and was rejected both times onto my third time. I scheduled a call with their support team (as they’re over a week out to talk to a person) & they blew me off and never called during my appointment time. When I brought it up in a support case, they told me to try scheduling another appointment for 8 days later & then stopped replying when I asked for someone sooner as I already scheduled my original one a week out.
I’m starting to notice additional fees they’re charging which aren’t making sense either. In the process of disputing those. I’d recommend trying another texting/calling service. The lack of support, hidden fees, & lack of usability just isn’t worth it here.

Not for Me
The Quo system forces you to create a temporary number to create an account before being able to port a number. After ported number appeared, i was unable to remove the temporary number. Quo’s customer support is limited to Ai and email. No human telephone support available to handle multiple questions that Ai was not able to handle. I am new to Quo but not new to digital services, with the lack of customer support from Quo, i decided this platform is not right for my business use.

The phone quality is terrible. I often had to tell clients to call me back on my cellphone. However, that wasn’t even the worst part. From the first day, I got an INSANE amount of spam calls. I mean, it was more than 10 a day, everyday. It got to the point that I wasn’t answering phone calls because it was likely a spam. I advertised my QUO number on my business cards and website, and had to change all that. Absolute nightmare, do not get.

Payed twice, still not able to send texts
I must say the concept of this app is amazing. However I have been trying to set up SMS messaging for my business but upon trying to get registered it keeps declining. I have fixed all the criteria’s and made sure it was good, however even after paying the registration fee twice they will not register my account. I have tried reaching out numerous times to get this resolved however I am just met with a message system that takes days if not weeks to reply for them to just say “checking in” there has been no resolution and I am also paying the monthly rate as well. I understand that there is a process and requirement for this set up but I am dissatisfied with this app so far. I would love to get this resolved and change my rating please reach out to me sooner than possible

So many technical issues
We’ve had a very frustrating experience using Quo as our third-party phone service for our business. While we do like the system overall, the ongoing issues have made it increasingly difficult to rely on.
We’ve encountered repeated problems with undelivered messages-texts often show as sent but are never received by our clients. In some cases, messages appear unread on our end even after clients have responded, creating confusion and miscommunication.
We’ve also experienced frequent dropped calls and poor call quality, including static and robotic-sounding audio. On multiple occasions, clients have told us they never received texts that we can verify were sent, forcing us to send screenshots just to confirm communication.
These issues are especially concerning when running a business, where reliable communication is critical. We would truly appreciate these problems being taken seriously, as they directly impact business operations. At this point, the system’s strengths are being overshadowed by these ongoing reliability concerns.
The automated service just makes you more frustrated. When trying to resolve the issues.

For starters the prices on the website are about 30% less than when you actually try to sign up for the subscription. No ability to pay yearly (advertised to be cheaper that way) because they only give you the option for monthly (more expensive).
Website advertised $15/line. Actual cost before taxes and fees $21/month.
Then when you try to activate the account and number they cut it off immediately and start demanding private financial information (EIN/SSN/business formation docs/etc.) FOR A FREE TRIAL.
This reeks of a scam. How am I to expect a VOiP app to work when you can’t even set it up without being lied to and screwed around.
Look elsewhere or get a new line with an actual carrier. I guess AT&T is getting more of my business.

I am a small business owner. I’m a professional gardener and just work as a solo entrepreneur and I have got this new system that links on my client calls to their profile, but I need to kind of have my own business phone number to be able to link it because otherwise all my friends and families texts go to that software as well so I researched and“ seems to be like a really robust system for having a business/work phone number, however it has been a week of trying to get my phone number approved so I could text people and it keeps getting rejected. The “team is being rather responsive to help me get it figured out, but I just feel as though “could make the on boarding process a little bit easier for solo entrepreneurs. They’re asking for all these things as if we’re like an automated messaging thing I will use automated messaging in the sense of checking in with clients to remind them to water and stuff, but I’m not a big business that’s sending like spam marketing emails and texts. I’m just trying to get a business phone number and it has been incredibly difficult and frustrating. I just feel with as big as a company that quote is they should’ve had this figured out for us better.
Update - I have had to pay so far: $275 for a year subscription, $15x4 because they keep rejecting my application for different reasons. It has been a week of my life, over $300 spent and no results. A scam

Be careful (billing and support issues)
Signed up for this service and had a very frustrating experience. I was charged multiple times for business verification that was automatically rejected, and there was no clear warning beforehand about requirements (like EIN age).
Customer support is extremely limited-mostly bots, and when a real person does respond, communication stops and you’re left without resolution. Refunds were promised but never processed, and there’s no straightforward way to cancel the subscription from the dashboard.
There are also concerns around number porting. Requests to cancel a scheduled port were ignored, which is a serious issue for anyone using this as a business line.
Overall, the lack of transparency, billing clarity, and reliable support makes this hard to recommend. I would strongly suggest doing thorough research before signing up.

A phone company I can’t get on the phone with🤔
Goal: have a separate phone number for work on my personal phone.
Experience: trash. Ironic calling it “technical support” when technically I got NO support. Only thing Quo was good at was swiping my credit card. Told me I had to register my phone in order to send texts..which cost a 🤡one time $20 activation fee🤮 to then get it declined?? (My application got declined, they still charged my card of course 🙄)Finally get a response from tech support..where they said I’d just need to resubmit payment🧐 but it’ll only cost $15 this time 🧚‍♀️👹 I’ve previously used OpenPhone, I know how it works, and I’m a busy mf at work plus chat gpt said it was legit…Fine take my stupid $15 whatever, just let me text my clients / be on shaky calls. Or nahhhhh…🤬 at that point I just sent them an email saying I expect a full refund and Claude (my new AI bc obviously had to dump chat gpt lying ahh) told me about Sideline. It’s very smooth so far considering I’m able to send texts and the calls don’t randomly drop and are clear 🥰

They have been charging our card even after we canceled the subscription and deleted the account. I also requested the receipts for our transaction and they say log in to your profile. How can I log in if my account doesn’t exist now because I canceled my subscription. As soon as you cancel subscription you account just disappear.
