Bought it and loved it until it quit working. 404 error code. Tried everything but no go. Useless on my Imac desktop Ventura os 13.7.8. They need to fix it.

Map color change
Usually this app is a 5 plus!! But the new color change of the weather legend, has done nothing but cause confusion!! Not a app to use for weather safety, with this configuration!! Unfortunate!! Would not recommend!!
Deceptive
Charges you 9.99 just to download the base app, then wants an additional 9.99/year to unlock most of the features.
Unnecessary subscriptions
Imagine paying $9.99 to download an app, and then imagine being asked to pay another $9.99, yearly, to access weather Watch statements.
Weather app/radar app
I could be missing something but I thought I was paying for a whole weather app and not just a radar. For me, the app isn’t any better than WAPP fox 4 which is a whole weather app. My intention was to upgrade - I did - $10 for app and another $10 for pro that I thought would get me a whole weather app again. I respectfully request a refund or an explanation/directions to accomplish my goal to have a completely upgraded weather app.

Default Radar Location
I live at the western edge of the St Louis radar limits but it is my “default” location…. When I set my radar as Kansas City, the app puts it back to St.Louis…. MAKE IT STOP!! Why do I need to see what’s already past me…?? Don’t you think it’s more important to see what’s coming at me…?? Seriously….!! MAKE IT STOP!! it’s pretty asinine on your part to set any default location….
Does not upgrade to Pro after payment.
The app is very accurate, better the usual local apps and Apple Weather. I decided to upgrade to Pro, and was billed by my app keeps asking me to pay again! Apple Support has been nothing but trash 🗑️ in helping getting this sorted out!
Disappointed
This app was recommended for radar app. What you get for $9.99 is no better if not worse than free radar apps. All the good features require additional expensive subscriptions. Don’t waste your money unless you want to pay $20 a month on top of buying the app.

Used to be great
I loved this app. However, in the last 3 months the loading has been inconsistent and during storms it will usually not load for 20-30m. This is a critical error and after almost an entire summer I can only imagine this is highlighting some technical debt at RadarScope. I will not be renewing if these issues persist.
Refund!!
this app is completely false and doesn’t deserve the rating it has, only get if you’re willing to pay another 10-20 dollars to actually unlock the rest of the app. i paid 10$ to only have access to a tenth of the app. everything else required pro and pro2. i would like a refund due to the false advertisement of it being number one.

Thieves
I purchased this app a very long time ago. Since then the developers have slowly taken away the original capabilities I had using it. I used to have all the Tilts available. Now only one. I used to get all the watches and warnings. There were a host of functions that I had and they took them away which is theft. What I originally paid for is not what I have now. That’s like buying a car with a ton of options and every time you take it in for maintenance they remove an option. I’m sure my states attorney generals office would like to take a closer look so I filed a complaint.

Barely any Features Unless You Pay to Upgrade
This drives me crazy. Just don’t even have the free one for your benefit of getting downloads. Great app when you pay…. Just be upfront and stop the intentional deception.
Disappointed
It seems you have to upgrade to Pro to get most of the features. I don’t think the basic features are any better than AccuWeather and it only shows 20 minutes of radar. Wish I hadn’t spent the $10!

It advertises repeatedly that family sharing is available, but still has the nerve to charge every family member an upfront cost. Why? This app by default offers very little functionality.
You allow me to share the subscription, but at this point for my family to have a detailed radar image, we have to pay repeatedly.

Horrible App
It does not do anything it claims it does. It will not show radar, animate, stalls on loading, shows nothing but locations, with no data. Loads and loads. No lightning detection or storm tracks. Just a black screen with names. Junk App!!

Free online radars are so much more sophisticated, keeping my family safe other than the free tier of radar scope. Useless.

Scam
So to get extended forecasts, watches and be able to view the radar for more than 5 seconds you have to pay for PRO. Waste of money buying it. I immediately DELETED this app.
Beware
This was such a scam. Makes you purchase the app just to launch it and view a simple radar that you can essentially get free just about anywhere else. Then there’s two subscriptions…. Needless to say if your looking at this app, be prepared to spend $100 a year for the pro2
Bait and switch.
You would think that if you pay you would actually get a view of a radar on an app called Radarscope. NOPE! You get nothing. You have to pay monthly to see the radar. STAY AWAY.

The radar in the app may great, but don’t expect it for $9,99 a year. Once you pay that you’ll see to get any of the helpful tools you’ll be paying an additional 15 a month, or 100 a year. The $9,99 annual is a waste, if that’s all you are willing to pay save the money and go with any free app, it’ll serve you better. As soon as my purchase is no longer pending I’ll be asking for a refund. I have no problem paying for a radar but give me all the prices up front.

This $10 app has fewer features than most free apps. I don’t understand what I’m paying for, since there is an additional subscription fee to get any functionality.

It was good, then the creators of the app just got plain greedy. $9.99 for SPC outlooks that I can get from NWS for free?
Waste
Paid for this product and now they want to charge me again for it. Now they are removing features that was in the original app. What a waste of time and a slap in the face to those who have used this product. I guess you don’t care about your customers.
Rip off
I paid $10 for an app that does what any free weather app can do, thinking I’d be able to use the features it advertises. Those features are locked behind a subscription-based paywall-in some cases, more than one! Waste of money. Can’t even get tornado watches on the app, which so many other apps provide for free.

I’ve been using RadarScope since its inception back in 2008, and I’ve been consistently impressed with how far it has come over the years. The progression in available features, performance and overall capability has been remarkable, all while remaining reasonably priced for what it offers.
This is my go-to app for tracking storms in real time. Whether I’m looking at precipitation intensity, velocity data, or correlation coefficient, the level of detail on this mobile app is outstanding. It provides the kind of information you’d expect from professional grade tools, right in your hand.
In my opinion, there simply isn’t another mobile weather app that matches RadarScope in terms of capability, reliability and depth of data. If you’re serious about weather, this app is hard to beat!

New update is terrible
This has been my “go-to” app for years, but this new update makes it much less functional. If this update remains, I wouldn’t recommend downloading it.

Wrong price displayed
Before I even open this app. The price displayed is $9.99 out the price that was charged $17.99. I’m going to keep this happen anyway, but this should probably be fixed.
MRMS shouldn’t be Tier 2
RadarScope has long been a leader in this space, but there are now several competitive alternatives. While a $10 app price is reasonable, placing MRMS behind the Tier 2 subscription is difficult to justify when the same feature is available for free on WeatherWise and WeatherFront. For this reason, I will not be renewing my Tier 1 subscription.
Good app but too money hungry
I got this app for 10 bucks just for everything to be pro tier 2 or 1 like I bet that I can find an app that has almost everything that this app has but more for FREE
Not worth paying for
It shows the radar but it doesn’t even show all the cities or terrain or anything. Not useful to me as a sportsman and outdoor enthusiast
Lightning
Have to upgrade to Pro just to get lightning overlay. No thanks, plenty of great radar options including lightning that don’t require a subscription.
You have to pay to use the app
I’ve had this app for a while now and what I’ve noticed is you have to spend atleast 8$ a month you even see watches, discussions, etc. I believe this should be free and it is really really stupid that there is a paywall to see that. I would be fine to pay but not if you need to pay 15 dollars a month to use everything. A better list of things blocked by a paywall are watches, statements, discussions, outlooks, lightning, storm reports, observations, archive, and the list goes on. Aside from the paywall to get any information ahead, the app is fine. The radars are very advanced and work just fine.
Pro Tier 1 Deserves More
I love this app, as a storm spotter I love having high definition radar on my phone but as my needs have grown my budget is full. It simply is not worth it to use radar scope over other options any more now that GR2Analyst has most of the options that tier 2 contains in a one time price that covers advanced live volume rendering. Oddly enough if I wanted to use radar scope on my pc I would have to pay another fee for an app I already pay for on my phone to get less features even with a subscription. I mean if you made RadarScope for pc covered by the tier 1 subscription you would be getting so many customers and keep more people like me in the app. Another important part, there is no good app for viewing soundings and radar at the same time WSV3 and Pro Tier 2 are too close to the same price and WSV3 is 100x better than RadarScope. Please consider adding these features also why is smoothing only in pro tier 2 that is very odd.
