Please fix one time code issue
I had a really frustrating experience with this app after the latest update. I wasn’t able to access my account because the verification code that’s supposed to be sent to my phone number never arrived.
I’ve been living in Florida for years, but my phone number is from Puerto Rico, and it seems like the system no longer properly supports or recognizes it after the update released a few days ago. If the app can’t reliably send codes to certain numbers, there should at least be an option to receive the verification code via email.
I tried multiple times and still didn’t receive anything, which left me completely locked out of my account with no clear solution. This is a serious issue, especially for users who depend on secure and consistent access.
The app needs better support for different regions and more flexible verification options to prevent situations like this.

On the order screen I add my payment and the complete transaction button remains grayed out.

Awful!
Makes zero sense why they make you login to purchase stuff on the app. When there’s literally no reward program, perks, etc. I’ve never seen such a useless app in my life. Literally worthless, haha.
Bunk gift cards
Kid received a Canes gift card that we were going to add to app. Card said “scratch off gently” and we tried. In the end the number was mangled and canes store refuses to accept or exchange. I’m 100% sure their gift cards are designed this way on purpose.

Most Frustrating App!!
Our family loves Cane’s, but we HATE the app! Nine times out of ten it will not work. Cannot get past your pick-up option… click “Continue,” you get the disco ball for a second, and you’re taken back to the beginning. It is infuriating! So now… we sit and wait in line at 9:25 p.m.
App never loads
App will only load about 1 in 10 times that I open it. Just get a permanent spinning disco ball.

Big Function Flaw
When you move off screen to a different app or lock phone and come back to Cane app, the screen with “I’m here” button goes away and you have to call the restaurant to say you are at curbside pickup.

I've seen my to go plate melt to the chicken. I don't understand why it's so difficult for them to understand when I ask for them to put the paper first. The same paper they use when you dine in. No option in app to request. NO COUPONS/DISCOUNTS OR POINTS IN THE APP. 🤦🏻♂️

Good food, terrible app.
App sucks. Doesn’t ever allow you to choose Drive Through pickup, so you MUST use inside pickup or curbside, if offered. When you try to describe your vehicle for curbside pickup, sometimes glitches and puts you in an endless loop. Same thing happens for inside pickup-endless loop instead of moving forward to payment. Glitches and can’t complete checkout half of the time. If you can get to the checkout page, Apple Pay doesn’t work half of the time. Requires you to re-sign in every time you open the app. The Sign Up button on the app doesn’t automatically link a Caniac club sign up, so you never build points, have saved payment methods, etc. Terrible, terrible app.

Every time I use this app, without fail, something goes wrong. Once, out of the many times i’ve tried to use it, has it worked. Ordering online has never been more of a hassle. I have had no other issues with any other mobile food app. If by a miracle, I make it to the pay screen without issue.. it just continuously loads and never places the order. Genuinely the worst mobile app in fast food.

I am always having to log back in. It’s so inconvenient. Logs me out every week and then I need to do the whole security code. At least let me do face login.
Truly a terrible app design
Always issues with this app. Card payment problems when it works on every other fast food app, continuously logging me out, lack of rewards. Curbside pickup and drive though almost never available…literally the worst fast food app of all time.

The location in Seattle is new and I understand there will be some changes over time in the app performance and the team’s performance but it’s a little frustrating when you walk up and you see people get online orders but this app never lets me do online orders

Fun idea
The app totally does not work and you get to the payment screen of where you’re gonna pick up at the drive-through parking spot or go in the lobby. None of the options work it just spins for a little bit says loading and then takes you back to the same screen so completely broken 🤷🏼♂️
This App Doesn’t Work without WiFi
This app has never worked for me without a WiFi connection. Even when using 5G or LTE, it doesn’t let me select a location and I’ve never been able to use it to order

No issues with the location, but charging two dollars per chicken strip that’s as skimpy as my mother-in-law it’s crazy. They need to either increase the size of the chicken tenders or lower the price. Very disappointing.

I love their chicken, and their dip is amazing, and in spite of that, I go to Cane‘s probably 1/5 as much as I would if their app was decent. Their app is costing these people money. I’m sure they don’t feel it, because I’m sure business is great, but business would be so much better if their app was decent.
Bad app
One star is very harsh but needed to balance out the glazing. The interface is fine but somewhat clunky. Main issues are the app logging you out frequently and buttons not working inexplicably when a location is experiencing high traffic.
Does not work
i used this app a lot back in 2025 and it did not work. it didn’t submit your actual order. i don’t know if they updated it but just order off the website this app sucks!!
Rewards program
I like the app and I love the food but this is seriously one of the least satisfying and ironically rewarding programs I’ve used. I feel like I can go 5 times in a row and scan my QR code every time and I haven’t gotten a single reward yet. Usually they want you to use the app so line is less long it makes it easier on the location and it gives them insight into your spending habits. In exchange for this the customer will get points on every dollar spent that go towards future products or purchases. In this case I’ve spend a considerable amount and haven’t received a single reward and it’s not a rewarding program at all. I would love to see them move towards a point styled system that is clear and honest with what they are providing and receiving instead of this ambiguous you might get something eventually. Other than that canes is my favorite fast food place. Please work on it.

This app is trash. It constantly logs me out. It is an inconvenience. I have to constantly have to log back in. It’s another reason why I choose Laynes over Canes.

The app is extremely buggy. I have only been able to order once, every other time, I get an error message.

This app is terrible. I attempted to place a bulk “Tailgating” order and the app only allowed me to order the chicken in bulk, but none of the other items. That defeats the purpose of a tailgating order if you can’t include everything in bulk.
I then tried switching to the online ordering through the website, where bulk options for all items are actually listed. However, when I tried to complete the order, the app would not let me pay.
The ordering process is inconsistent between the app and the website, and it makes placing a large order unnecessarily frustrating. For something as straightforward as a tailgating order, the system should work seamlessly. Until this is fixed, it’s much easier to just call the restaurant directly.

Fix this app
Constantly signs me out for no reason, almost every single time I try to order I have to sign back in. It gets old.
Issues with the app:
1. Always signed out of the app for some reason.
2. Can’t order Caniac Combo. It adds to my basket but nothing shows when I tap on basket.
