this app literally is not free I didn’t want to pay and I couldn’t make anything or do anything the only thing I could do was stare at the screen I don’t recommend this app.

They sabotage you if you’re better than their longtime users
I had 499 followers and within 2 hrs they removed them and the people I followed it showed that I unfollowed them. They also have many accounts that must be friends with the app owner because they suck but always remain on the top 100 artists. Barely can find the actual talented people and when u do they make unfollow them and if u like random artists music it will show that you never liked it. Definitely purposely done. Profiles don’t just change their own pics and bio. So how does it happen 🤦🏾♀️🤨

App crashes / closes every time I attempt to upload a track. Tried across multiple devices and on different days. Still no luck. Hopefully that’s fixed soon

Developers need to put a bullet through their heads while their children watch. Absolutely horrendous app, like they were smoking fent the entire time they were programming it. Absolutely terrible bruv.

I was trying to give this 0 stars…If you’re younger and more of a new artist this IS NOT a good app to use. TONS of scammers and the app has no reports of nasty pictures as their profile pictures. THATS NASTY…definitely never using this app ever again, everybody’s like 40 on here anyways.

I was done recording my vocals and on the pictures on the all the auto tune was free but then when I tried to do it, it costs money and I couldn’t even do anything else to my voice. I couldn’t edit it I had to buy it but I’m not cause it said on your photo it was free.

By no means am I the best rapper or write but Rapchat definitely allowed me to record and practice. I like the fact I can record over a beat and see how it sounds. And if I don’t like it I can delete it. Thank you Rapchat for allowing me to start on a dream ive always had

Man, it used to be so much easier to record. Now all the new tunes sucks. It’s hard to work with it. @rapchat please go back to the original style in the studio, or at least make it available for people. Took away something good for something so terrible. 🤦🏾♂️

Autotune sucks now
The autotune used to actually sound good and was stable, but since the last two or so updates when they changed the autotune doesn’t hit any of the right notes for long and is very shifty. The audio quality sounds more clear in the studio which is good but the auto tune is now unusable. Hopefully they fix it soon

There’s always something wrong with the app, whether is the studio glitching out because you’re mixing your audio or just poor audio quality. There’s little to no regulation when it comes to covers (pictures used for songs) there is lots of nudity and yes there’s children using the app. They favor specific artist, especially when it comes to being featured. There’s a lot of people on the app trying to scam you and if you want to use any of the features (besides recording raw audio) you have to pay. It’s still better than recording on your default phone apps like memos, but there are better and more developed apps that give you better results and more accessibility for free. Many people who use the app record else where and just post the finished product on this app for likes.
It changed a lot
RC was dope from the beginning. After the years it started getting ads which I was coo with at first . Then you get stuck on the ad, which loads forever . On both my phones . Not to mention they removed my old autotune!! I can’t get the same sound I used to have . Only can access it through old projects . Weird . Can’t even save as preset won’t show , What a bummer . My brother has the same issue . Please fix your app . Started using bandlab n GarageBand . RC was my go to but I can’t use it no more . It’s unusable

Got worse over the years
I’ve been using rapchat for a bit over 5 years now, or maybe 5 years exactly. When I first got it, mostly everything (voice effects) was free. It seems like every single update takes away more and more. Not everyone has money to spend ya know…
During the mid point of me using this app, the one update left us with about 6-7 free voice effects, which worked out OKAY for me, I usually used the “duet” effect.
This most recent update took away everything. There’s absolutely no voice effects you can use for free now so I’m switching to bandlab instead.
I’m honestly surprised you still let us use the beats for free. It’s kind of ridiculous imo.
Now I can’t even download a video of my own songs for free. Deleting the app

It’s a great app but plz add shuffle tired of hearing them in the same order but gotten worse it’s so robotic I can use no effects and it still sounds robotic
