Im going to be absolutely honest. In the first year of having a phone, this is the worst app to come across - at first glance at the young age of 13, I thought it was harmless and I would have fun! And so as time goes on, you’re having fun, either loving the life or being a edater, doesn’t matter how it is… until it gets to a point. Previously 2 years ago, experiences had down spiral the moment i got this app back after sometime because I didn’t have my old account anymore and stuff.. Well Ive heard some pretty interesting things, and most of them really made me question if kids should even be on there, let alone teenagers. Now as an adult, looking back at those moments made me really happy that I didn’t continue going on there and actually interact with human beings. I’d say, please don’t let your children have this.. as much as it’s cute and everything.. It worries me.

Reality support team is really bad
I've been on reality for 8 years and I've met some amazing people on the app and became really good friends but what I would say is that there reality support team is really bad in my opinion, my main account was suspended because there was a technical glitch within the app itself and I had no control of that. The coins I brought never showed up. Hopefully they make a better version where your allow to ask for a refund because other app similar to reality allow it.

Why cant the app be for all apple devices
I have a older iphone and I used to be able to use the app but it's not fair because some people might have older iphone generations and it's not fair for people who can't afford newer phones.
I like it just one thing.

I loved streaming my games and doing reaction content using reality’s YouTube feature. But suddenly in October 2025 the YouTube plug stopped working on my apple devices and it here’s no sign of it being fixed. Now i can only do chatting and singing and it’s boring.

Do not get on this app. They’re a bunch of goomers and people that go after kids. It’s basically like Roblox. People are very sick and disgusting and people on this app always lied about race, age, gender etc. The US support team doesn’t look into reports. All they care about is money. They’re scam artist. People are like little children and act like high school drama. STAY AWAY FROM THID APP. People are crazy and will do anything to ruin peoples images and stalk.

This app is the biggest way for predators to get ahold of children… there’s men 33,21,25 etc.. while the app is for “ages 12+” the bios all include nsfw/asking for things. Do not let children access the app. This needs to be banned!!!

I am highly disappointed in this app’s response regarding vulgar actions such as racism and sexism. I reported a streamer saying slurs yet there was no punishment for them.. I will not be staying around an app where they would let this behavior roam around

It won't work
It says I need 17 or something or later, but my iPad says it's at the full update, so I can't log in. A lot of others are saying this too
I’ve played it many times in the past but this is just stupid
I used to love using reality, and now that I’m coming back to it from a long break, it won’t even let me in. It says there is an update, but then there is non in the App Store. I re download it, and it does the same exact thing, telling me I need an update. Based on the other reviews, obviously others are having the same problem, and none is fixing it!

Gacha rates are terrible, but good game overall.
I did so many pulls and I didn’t get a SINGLE 4 star. I know, I’m probably just unlucky or something. ITS SO HARD TO GRIND COINS. the most coins you will get is from paying or giving your info on a website. If you love gacha games, don’t get it, but if you love v tuber models and that stuff, I recommend.

Gacha and Paywall Limit Customization Feats
The idea behind reality is nice, but I’m not liking the fact that customizing one’s avatar is so limited with the default choices. Further customs are either locked behind a Gachapon, or Paywall (buying coins to purchase item). Not exactly… "friendly" either. There are people on there streaming 18+ things, I thought that was against the Terms of Use?

It’s a hit or miss
I’ve tried this app for a while and I have at most 1-2 viewers sometimes 20 viewers if I’m lucky, but they all leave right away so if you’re looking for something to actually stream on, I would suggest going to YouTube or something and actually building a following because this is not meant for that. From my experience you meet a passerby or make a temporary friend that fades off.
Ridiculous punishments but would recommend
I’m 12 years old and I loved streaming on this, it is perfect for anyone who wants to be a VTuber easily. However, I recently made the mistake of commenting my name, and was banned at 5:37 P.M. that day, banned permanently for being a year under the age limit

Not a game
Don’t let your kid have this thinking it’s a fun game. My wife let our daughter get this app and she followed a 25 year old. He started talking to her about adult things like “s3x” and other things and telling her not to say anything. Our daughter is 10 and she knew it was bad but she got really scared so she told me about it and showed me so I blocked and deleted him and uninstalled the app. Don’t let your kid have this. But for adults it could be ok because you know more than a 10 year old
