Difficulty is an indirect paywall.
As much as I love this game, even having it on pc. The gameplay is very fun for how serious it tried to replicate the problems of the things like the United Nations and real world problems.
The difficulty gameplay wise is just too much to unlock the rest of the content.
I have gotten to the brink of crying due to the frustration of the rng and supposed guides not working.
You either lose from stability or the insurgent’s, you are not allowed to balance either except on the lower difficulties.
I could understand this complaint being a nothing-burger on the hardest difficulty, but it’s not it’s the second hardest.
And I am either forced to suffer end on end or spend money to continue further into the content.

Good game turned bad
I use to enjoy this game and would easily rate it a 5/5 however the game is now centered on unrealism and a 50/50 chance of still winning or losing regardless of initiatives or stability the game has some scenarios unbeatable. Their newest “realistic” scenario on the campaign has insurgents constantly re-attack even after you have killed them, put a base, or have police. The game has turned unrealistic and is chance based.

Worst game I’ve played yet, weakest entry to the point of making plague inc look bad
One of the most horrendously infuriating games in the franchise, and biggest waste of my money, this game is entirely luck dependent and is more of a slot machine game than a strategy game. Random events, random rebellions, random spawn points, it’s all bs mechanics that not even plague could catch up with. You’ll make slight progression only to lose it all to a random event.
For players looking for actual strategy games? Go to plague. Or go to another company. I’m unsure as to how to receive my refund, but as of now I’ve been scammed out of my money

Lack of Stability
This game has a lot of really potential and some fun gameplay, not Plague Inc but still in the same vein and fun, HOWEVER I CANNOT OVERSTATE HOW STUPID IT IS THAT “LACK OF STABILITY” PRETTY MUCH THE ONE AND ONLY REASON YOU WILL EVER LOSE. ITS SO INCREDIBLY VAGUE AS A LOSS-CONDITION ESPECIALLY WHEN DESPITE HAVIN OUTREACH FULLY UPGRADED AND LIKE 75% OF THE 3 CIVILIAN TREES BOUGHT-YOU STILL LOSE BECAUSE “LACK OF STABILITY” drained 51 POINTS!! ABSURD!!
Bad Form
Gameplay is ok. Hard to find clear strategy. Pretty nasty thing for a developer to charge for a shell of a base game only to hit you with another paywall on the other side. Don’t buy unless you plan to chuck 5x as much more money into dlcs.
National soldier pmo
They take so damn long and when I lose because I redeployed coalition troops too many times they have the nerve to say “more national soldiers would’ve helped” mf the national soldiers take forever to train they’re useless
