★★★★★ "Misleading. The app itself is great, however we bought it with the belief that family (2 people in same house) could share recipes. That’s not the case unless you drop $40! What family doesn’t share recipes or plan what they are eating together?" - Austintexasbrat

Watch out for the upcharge.

SCAM watch out
They lie in their purchase description they state you can use pro across devices as long as you’re signed into your Apple account. NOT TRUE! What they DON’T tell you in a scummy scammy way is that if you purchase on a MacBook you can’t use on your iPhone or iPad. Then they LIE and say you have to pay for those operating systems in order to cover the cost of the servers. All lies, I work for a huge gov contractor and licensing doesn’t require additional server space to host a service on different devices. This is an outright scam of a product that I have reported and should be promptly removed and investigated for false advertising and business practices!
You have no way to cancel
They charge and can’t cancel
I paid for recipe keeper, but it won’t share between my phone and computer … and won’t let me share.
It’s not working as promised
Not easy to cancel
Not worth the money. And they do not make it easy to cancel. Still trying to figure it out. Called bank to stop payment
Not free
If you end up getting logged out you will have to pay 20 dollars to log back in or lose all your recipes. I initially got this app because it was one of the only free ones I could find.
Apps are supposed to be able to share with immediate family but this one is not… makes it a bummer

Annoying
Every time I try to add a recipe from the Internet, it says that it’s not found only I was able to save a recipe was by typing it in myself
Cannot share across multiple Apple accounts
Unable to share the purchase within my family sharing. Kind of defeats the purpose of this functionality.
Not free!!!
I was only able to save 12 recipes before I was required to pay for a subscription!
No sync
I have almost 500 recipes on my app but only 200 or so show up on my iPad?
Terrible app
Honestly it would be a fine app if you didn’t have to purchase multiple times to use it on different platforms, and no one can even sign in to use it elsewhere unless they pay as well. Don’t bother if you’re trying to use this for family sharing.
Do I have to purchase it twice?
I purchased this on my iPhone and want to also edit recipes on my windows laptop. Do I have to purchase it again? And would I have to tie it to my Microsoft account?
0 stars
Don’t know what is going on but I was paying for this app and all of a sudden all of my recipes are gone. Definitely not happy at all.
Well
I did not like this app. When i went to add a recipe it would not add any more unless i “add” it at least 4 times. The recipe had to be in the caption in order to get the recipe. perfer the app deglaze.
No longer woks
No longer imports recipes. When you paste the URL it goes to a page can’t be found every time. Was one of my favorite apps
Replying to the developer. No it’s an issue with recipe Keeper. Sites are actively blocking the recipe import functionality. There is a round about way to import but anyone with with just the link won’t be able to

Really trying to lave it
Usually works great but now more often than not it can’t pull a recipe anymore. Even when the recipe and ingredients are very much listed in the description.
Misleading

Beware 2 separate purchases
I fell in love with the app so I paid $30 for it on my windows laptop only to find out I would have to pay an additional $20 to share it to my iPhone! So $50 for an app is ridiculous!!!!!!
Good but could be better
Allows you to add recipes you can take some from the Internet or upload your own. You can also scan your recipe pages so that it makes it easier for you to put them in, but you’re only allowed to add 20 of your own recipes. You need an inner app purchase of 19.99 to add however many recipes you would like.
Great features but deceptive pricing
I tested out the app and love the features and went to upgrade and it said share recipes across all of your devices and specifically as an example, said iPhones, iPads, etc. It said a separate purchase would be required for different platforms with android as an example. I paid the $20 for the pro version uploaded a bunch of recipes and then try to download it on my wife’s phone and login but it’s requiring me to purchase the upgraded version for my wife as well which means in order for my wife and I and our teenage daughter to use the recipes. Each of us have to pay $20 for the app for a total of $60. If it’s saying share across all of your iPhones, nobody has multiple iPhones and uses the same Apple ID so I feel like that is deceptive. Now I’m into this $20 and I have to go find a different app or cough up another $40 just so our immediate family can use the app.
Tricky Advertising
To be clear, you have to buy the ios version for $19.99 and then the Mac version for $29.99 to be able to sync between the two. The way they sell it to you is by saying you can sync across all of your devices in one sentence snd then further explaining the separate purchase 4 paragraphs down. I gave an extra star because the app does work pretty good.
only saves 20 recipes on free
You can only save 20 free recipes on free version. I do not need any other options available on the paid version. Too expensive unfortunately.
