Can’t even connect my XDJ-XZ controller because it only supports Bluetooth connections. Mind you, I spent close to 3k on the controller that specifically markets rekordbox. What a fail!
Wow!!!
This is my first time writing a review on an app ever in my entire life. I was so embarrassed last night. The crowd was mad at me, they thought I was playing the same song over on purpose. I load deck 2, and it started playing the beginning of one of my playlist. Although I played a tired different song from a search on Apple music screaming platform. And it happened on multiple occasions. Whatever it is or whatever that bug is you guys need to fix it ASAP!!!!

This app would be amazing but blocking nonstarter is required goofy FLX controller.
The app badly needs class compliant audio interface support allowing configuration of outputs: deck 1, deck 2, master and cue.
MIDI learn would make the app best in class. If you don’t have time for this just publish the MIDI CCs and remove SysEx device auth and let us third party developers fix that issue ourselves.
These two things would unblock support for ex: DDJ-1000.
If these are blocked due to some vendor hardware lock in biz strategy at least sell a classy compact interface with 2-3 stereo out channels and minimal mix/eq/fx controls. (A la Traktor Z1)
The larger iPad pro removes the need for bulky, gaudy two deck controllers.

I got the desktop version first with Spotify. The. Mobile app does not support it?
Freezes/Crashes
I’ve only been using this app for less than 24 hours. Enjoyed its features for the first few uses, until the app began & continued to crash after every time I selected my next track to play. It crashes sometimes almost immediately after I open the app so coming up with a solution myself doesn’t seem to be possible. I like the software itself though it needs some improvements on the bugs that are causing the crashing problems. Currently I am unable to use the app. I also spent money on Sound Cloud Go+ just to improve the experience & it has been a complete fail so far unfortunately.

Extremely laggy when you search up a song it just buffers in your face

New update 4.4.4 has issues
My sound stays distorted when connected to a speaker. This happens way too often, before i would have to un download the app and the re download to fix the issues but this time cannot fox the issue. Using a flx-4 with ipad and iphone has both issues
Apple Music
I love the layout of the app but i ran into an issue recently where my Apple Music won’t work. Whenever I try and press the “Sign in now or start free trial” button it wont work nothing happens when I press it. I am an Apple Music subscriber. It was working perfectly for like 2 weeks then all of a sudden the Apple Music wont work on my IPad but it works on my phone. So I really need help to fix this.
Having continuous problems connecting to my Tidal
Very upsetting when you try to use it and can’t get your playlist to load.Every time I choose Tidal from the drop down, it just gives me the login screen and freezes up.Every other music app works but but that one don’t know what it is but it’s very annoying on the way. I’ve seem to be able to get it to work every time is byDeleting the app and re-download it and then I can play for one time or whenever I’m done I stop it and come back to the same problem.
Unusable
Freezes/crashes constantly. Attempting to use tidal stalls on a black loading screen and if you try to close and reload the app it crashes on startup.

Sign me out of SoundCloud now all my music is gone I wish 0 star
Don’t buy the $49.99 subscription
Just use a PC. Both the Android and IOS versions have extremely limited functionality as to the preference menus and performance. The Android version has headphone cueing output issues if being used with a controller. Hours and hours spent searching for good documentation and trying to figure out why I’m having issues. Definitely don’t buy the $49.99 in app IOS subscription.
Incompatible with SoundCloud
Once you log into SoundCloud Go+ you are no longer able to access your library. On device playlists? Inaccessible. SoundCloud page? Stuck in a buffer screen that forces you to relaunch the app.
need an update
It crashes every time I try to use it and it takes forever to load the app is great but seriously taking people money but not fixing the slow loading and crashing issues is insane and needs to be updated for all devices and platforms
Am I missing something
In terms of features the app seems to have the necessary, pretty ugly Ui but at least it’s responsive.
Why I’m giving one star is you can’t load music from a USB or files (unless I’m missing something )
Cloud sync is not a solution, not every venue has reliable internet and it’s not portable if you have to rely on cloud.
Please do better guys this is a joke

Audio quality not good
Audio crackles when using airpods and backgrounding/switching apps. Rekordbox doesn't providing an iOS background refresh setting either, which I think would solve the issue
Useless app
Did not work! I connected with Apple Music but kept complaining about not connected to the internet, I thought Apple Music was the problem, then I subscribed to Tidal based on the recommendation in the app but the internet issue persists. I have tried both on mobile and WiFi, no avail.
Doesn’t sync
This app is terrible, 4 days of trying to connect and poor support, this app will not sync music from my sound cloud go+ account, Beatport or my music library.
CANT USE SOUNDCLOUD WITH UPDATE
I see other reviews with the same issue. With the new update the SoundCloud integration is obsolete. You can’t sign into SoundCloud now. It says to disable pop ups. Before the new version it would simply bring up the SoundCloud login and sign you in. Now I can’t stream anything on my iPad. Rekordbox on iPhone however works just fine. Not sure what to do but this makes it difficult to use my controller.
Not letting me import.
I tried all ways and I couldn’t import any songs into this app. It does not work. I didn’t see anything that said you had to pay premium to be able to import songs. But if it is the case then that is unfair for what the app provides.

Error connecting to SoundCloud
Won’t allow me to connect my SoundCloud because I’m subscribed on Apple IOS. I cancelled my account but there is not away around this? Error message keeps popping up.
Garbage App
Pioneer cripples this app by not allowing it to access files on external storage devices preventing managing USB drives to be used on CDJs
Get Djay Pro
Save your money. It only supports two controllers. Djay Pro has way more support and features.
Terrible for streaming!!
This terrible for streaming!! I loaded a song and loaded the same song in djay pro and it loaded much faster. This app is trash!!
Used to be great, now an unusable mess
Was my go to music/DJ app for years. A shame that it has become so unusable. You can’t even load a single track without the app crashing, forget about doing a dj set.
I really want this to work
Syncing with my library online, searching tracks, setting hot cues and building playlists on the go is such a great concept. Unfortunately stuttering audio, crashing and library syncing issues have made it very challenging.
Not ready for relase
This app is terrible. Its extremely buggy, it wont sync my library and when it does, it continuously decides to crash. I don't know how such a big company pushes out an app like this with tons of issues and then they expect you to pay a separate license fee for a buggy app. Don’t pay for this app. Keep creating tickets for their team so someone can finally work on the potential of this app. I’ve created a few tickets and after a video is shown of this issue, they stop responding. Very unprofessional.

Tried to add some WAVE tracks from iCloud and it wouldn’t work. Constantly came up with an error message. I have downloaded another Dj software that works just fine.
Monthly for what???
Is there streaming services? Producer tools? What am I paying a monthly for??? This is just strait profit taking money grab.
Lacking
I’m not sure why it’s so hard to do a basic mix on this app but it is. Normal functions like cueing and lining up tracks doesn’t work.
I am away from my equipment and thought it would be fun to get the app and play with tunes. No way.
The faders get stuck and the waveform and the sound don’t match so you can’t cue by sight.

Tracks Not Loading
Easy to use but when trying to load tracks from SoundCloud Go+, it loads forever and can never actually see the tracks I have saved. Would like to see a fix on this issue as I enjoy using this app.

The app’s slow when loading tracks
Every time you click on a song it takes forever to load from your music library. The app also cannot clearly differentiate between the songs you own from your library and Apple Music. Plz fix.
Basically useless
The interface is confusing, presents almost no information, makes sorting songs and creating playlists feel impossible. The performance mode is hot garbage, the interface lags, the waveform is unusable for seeing anything about a song.
Want to love it, app is very unstable now
Used to us Rekordbox on my phone all the time to listen to music in the car. In the last month it has gotten extremely unstable. Gets stuck on start up screen indefinitely. Tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Opens sometimes and then quickly locks up when clicking around in the app.
Recent update introduced major bugs
Since Pioneer / Rekordbox / AT won’t reply to the support ticket I already created, I have no choice but to blow them up here in the reviews. The most recent update was a big step backwards due to two very bad bugs.
It no longer highlights played tracks within a session - the titles use to turn green but now there is zero indicator.
When I use the browse knob on my FLX4 to look for a new track in a playlist, the list scrolls all the way to the top. This is a huge hassle with larger play lists. Prior to the update it would simply scroll from the location of the last track you selected.
I really hope they fix these bugs because I am a fan of RB on the iPad. But alas, now I see why people are so fed up with this brand.
