Huge disappointment

Update Killed It
I’ve been using this app for months and been very happy with it. Today I (finally) updated my phone to version 1.8 (I think). Like other users are saying, it is now soliciting a payment plan, and it just keeps looping through the tv connection screen. Any button I push on the remote control screen now takes me back to the TV connection screen even after it has found my tv and connected.

It works as long as I reconnect every time, but that means I have to have the other remote to accept it. So it’s not helpful since my kids lose the remote.

Lost my remote remote and I always use remote app and all of a sudden it doesn’t work and I have to pay. Had the app for more than a year.

This app is a scam.
The app stopped working because my trial expired, and offered a lifetime deal which I agreed to. A week after my app stopped working Apple charged my account for the lifetime deal amount. The app still doesn’t work so I lost my money. Plus the company doesn’t have a support point of contact.
This App Doesn‘t Work
I downloaded the app in March and if worked great until the End of July. It just keeps looping through the search and authorize and none of the bottoms work. So, I subscribed to the app from and offer for a one time purchase of $9.99, but even after the purchase the app behavior did not change and the app still did not work. I even deleted the app and reinstalled with no luck so I asked Apple for a refund. I do not recommend this product.

App worked great until I paid the lifetime fee. Connects to TV and doesn’t work anymore. Tried rebooting TV and app. I want my money back!
Stopped working for me too
As others have stated I too also paid for a lifetime subscription and now my remote doesn’t work either. Was working fine right up until payment was taken. It says it’s connected but nothing happens. Please fix.
Doesn’t work after paying
Has worked great since I’ve had it…. until recently. A week or so ago it told me that it was going to go to a subscription payment service, however I could pay a $10 fee to have a lifetime subscription. After deciding to pay the $10 fee and paying it, the app no longer works. Seems scammy now. Beware.
Don’t download
I have been using this app for almost four months and was working great. Now I try and use it and it is asking for me to pay for it. Just another app to get peoples money. Why can’t we have any free apps anymore without a pay wall.!!!
Recent update
1 week ago it updated and has not worked since. It asked me to pay so I thought maybe I had a free trial. Paid $9.99 and it did not fix the issue. Wish I could get a refund. Hopefully someone will see this and it will prevent them from losing money. Hope this helps.
Loved it until…
I have been using this app for over a year and worked really well. A few days ago the app switched to a subscription model but offered a one time payment which I felt worth it since the app used to work better than the Samsung smart tv app. As other users have reported, I am no longer able to control the tv despite the app saying the tv was connected to the app. Would like this fixed or I will be requesting a refund.

Told me they were moving to a subscription model but as an early adopter I could pay $10 now for a lifetime license. As soon as I paid the app stopped working. It says my tv is connected but my tv won’t register anything. Garbage scam.

The new update removes any free activity you had before and makes you pay for something that was free previously.

I was using the free version, it worked ok, suddenly a few days ago it stated that I had to pay and got a one time payment offer.
I accepted, and paid, now the app doesn’t work and doesn’t recognize my payment and keeps asking to pay again! It also asks me to “allow” my tv every time I use the app, but even though I do, there is no response between the app and my Tv, so this app is now absolutely worthless and useless and the worst part is that I already paid for it!

Doesn't do anything without purchase
The only thing you can do is power on/off. Not paying for an app that may or may not work.

The app immediately solicited a review before I even got to try it. Then it tries to upsell you immediately to the paid version. One was $5/week after a three day trial. The other one was $24 something a year which I might have considered if they presented me, a new user, with a good experience.
Since they lost my respect for their efforts right out of the chocks, I deleted the app.
Now I get a network error when I try to use my original remote 🤕.
They also said save the world by losing the need to buy batteries. I can buy a whole bunch of remote batteries at even the apps annual rate of $24.

This app might be great; however, if you can’t connect to your TV with it you can’t use it. This is more of a Samsung TV issue since I lost my remote I do not have a way to click “allow” on my TV to allow the remote app to connect to the TV. Only one button on the TV, and it will not select the “allow” pop-up command.

I have GREAT difficulty in having access to my Samsung TV through this app.

If I’m downloading an app to be the remote for my tv, why would it then make sense to make me have to have the remote to make the remote app work??? Why would I download the app if my remote worked???? Useless app.
