Slow and glitchy

Terrible. Card has been locked for 2 weeks, been late on my bills cause manage card controls and manage debit card options do not work at all. This has causes my to be late on multiple bills. Don’t ever use republic they are a terrible company and they don’t help you fix any issues. Customer service have been giving me the run around for 2 weeks. My card is still locked. Go to a major bank instead on republic. They don’t let you connect with cash app or chime either they don’t support it. A complete waste of time.
Horrible App
Why would you have me wait to get a banker via chat and then make it very difficult to respond to the person and also put the refresh button right next to the send action. Then when I accidentally press refresh I need to take another ten minutes to verify my identity. The user interface needs a MAJOR refresh.

The app is consistently down to where I can’t access my accounts and everything gets red flagged. Huge pain.

Worst app ever
I haven’t had a notification in two years. Yes I’m signed up for them. It doesn’t tell you all your transactions and most of the time it won’t even load your account. “No accounts to post” it’s says
Steal your money in overdrafts
Love how you can pay your negative funds exactly when they go negative digital cause there atm don’t take cash and they have terrible hours of open so I had both pending same time they put negative through first on purpose so they could charge me then proceeded to add the money to prevent overdraft I added that very same second customer service said they would pay back half and only ment one overdraft completely there fault love this don’t use them there trash

Republic bank app continuously crashes. The quick balance does not work. More than half of the time it will not let me log in. This app only deserves 1 star.

This app is terrible. It never gives me accurate information on my account. One minute it shows all my transactions. Later that night, all the ones that were previously there is gone. And it’s on a Monday evening? Go figure. It’s not just during covid. This has always been an issue. It would be nice if it was consistent information. I understand updating the information. But taking away prior updated information has me baffled.

Mobile deposit
Mobile deposit is difficult to use. Puts most of my checks in review and then emails me to tell me they’ve been deleted and need to be resubmitted. Very frustrating.
Things you should update.
Need to add the ability to add a check that you e written. Not having it show up until days later can cause problems if you forgot you wrote it. Should also fix the problem of deposits not showing up until days after you’ve made them.
Constant advertising messages
The latest version of the app seems to work just like the previous version, except that every time you log in, there is an unread message notification that can only be dismissed by reading an advertisement

Mobile Check Deposit is clunky
Does not work well. Seems to accept your check but then emails you later that your check image was no good. Then you have to do it over and over again. It’s faster to drive to the bank.
Doesn’t work all the time
Won’t load any account information this evening, and keeps showing notifications, although there isn’t anything there when I try to see what they are. Very annoying.

I get my money with direct deposit weekly. I’ll get it and sometimes it takes 4 days to even get a notification.
Glitchy
Originally, the app was convenient & available anytime I needed it. Now (the past 6-12 mos), it works about 50% of the time. The other 50% is very frustrating. I have been considering switching banks for a more consistent & available mobile banking experience.
Hardly Works
Most times I try to log into the app, it’s down for some reason or another. My wife also has Republic, and hers doesn’t work either. Fix this, and the app is fine. What is the point of the app if I have to call or go to the branch anyway...
Republic bank
Annoying - says I have 2 messages. I go to messages and it says there are 24 offers. I click on the debit card offers and it says 0 offers. None of this ever goes away. No way to delete it. Also says I have interactions. I click on that and same old thing there and no way to delete it.
Definitely needs work.
I wish they would work on their app and their website. Half the time I try to log into one of them it tells me my information is unavailable. Not having access to manage my account half the time is a very big deal. When the app is functioning I like it.
