Too expensive
Was overcharged for a renewal and to be honest for the money there are better options.
Tricked
App abuses Freemium, essentially you don’t get anything from the app unless you pay up front. It’s “Lite” or free features are essentially useless.

Customer Service FAIL
I signed up for a monthly membership through Apple subscriptions. When I noticed $109.99 charge on my account I contacted Roame customer service only to be told that they can’t help me because I have to go through Apple. So then I went onto my Apple account and showed only the monthly charges that we’re supposed to be charged and no additional $109 and 99.$9.99 charge through Apple. Contacted customer service again and they’re telling me they can’t find any subscription under my email for that amount and will not escalate this as requested to a supervisor to try to get my refund. It has been a month and still NO HELP FROM THEM.

No longer works
The app was good when I first used it a few months ago. Now, its functionality no longer works as it used to. No longer accurate.
Limited Airlines
Very upset that it only shows airlines/routes that I guess they partner with. Other apps and sites showed me better point deals with international airlines. Do not recommend for international use!

Waste of money
Unable to have it search only from my home airport. You always have to change from the JFK default. Additionally it’s asking for me to book the departure date without knowing if there is a return available. Additionally, I sent an email to support and haven’t heard back from anyone.

I purchased a membership a year ago only to know that they provide fake or outdated results. You can instantly know this right after you purchase.
Not very helpful
Unless you have extreme flexibility; I didn’t find this helpful. Also alerts stopped functioning. Contacted customer service and no response. I cancelled.

Bait-and-Switch Billing
I clicked a “7-day free trial” offer during Black Friday week. That’s what the CTA clearly said in the app. I authenticated with Face ID (as you normally would to start a trial) and began exploring the app. The experience itself wasn’t great, so I went to cancel the trial shortly after - only to find out I had been charged $94 instantly, with no trial at all.
I contacted their support team half a dozen times with zero reply. I even reached out to multiple members of their leadership on LinkedIn - also ignored completely.
When I opened the app the next day, the same CTA no longer said “7-day free trial” but instead advertised a discounted annual Black Friday price. As someone who works in marketing, it’s obvious the developer updated the purchase link but never updated the CTA text, causing users to unknowingly authorize a full-price subscription they never intended to buy.
This is a misleading, bait-and-switch experience, and the lack of any customer support makes it even worse. Trash experience from start to finish. I don’t recommend using this app or expecting any help if something goes wrong.

Difficult to cancel
They take every effort to make it difficult to cancel. Cannot cancel on app, it tells you to go to the website and then you go through more hoops.
Newbie
All about selling you an upgrade rather than finding you a flight. Want a round trip buy an upgrade, want to see a larger booking window buy an upgrade, want to use multiple airports buy an upgrade. There are much better options out there, bye-bye.

This thing is a joke. Routinely says no flights for major routes over a long timespan. Then I shift the start date and it displayed tons of flights for every single day. Can’t trust this horrible app. I want my money back.

Attempted to cancel & cannot! Charged over $150 for a membership ive attempted to cancel on website, app, email & instant chat! How do i CANCEL & get refund! Attempts all made PRIoR to when my free trial was up.

Misleading
Incredible prices displayed to lure you in to signing up for loyalty programs, but when you try and actually book the flights, the price changes drastically. This is just click bait.
There should be a way to Stop Notifications
Like gosh... the amount of emails i get is insane over 80+ a day. STOP I am trying to delete my account Please do.
Constantly shows phantom availability
Not sure how everyone is reviewing this app so highly , data is constantly inaccurate and 90% of my alerts are for availability that never existed.
Alaska & JetBlue are the worst offenders - constantly getting alerts like 6+ Q suite seats available (we all know that’s impossible) - multiple JAL or ANA first awards - etc.
Seats.aero seems to have much more accurate data, just not as fancy an interface

The miles amounts are totally wrong
this stupid site just refers you back to the actual airline webpage and if you search there the miles are completely different than what was shown in the app. Its a total scam and should be shut down
false results
So many false results. Received alerts for all false results. I went to check within 1 minutes of receiving the alerts and the flights are not there

Notification not working
I paid for a one year membership and set up alerts with notifications and emails. I only received emails but not push notifications. This is not useful to me.
Save your money
Over promise and underdeliver unless you’re looking for buggy software. Roame promises to be best is class but is far from that. Support team is unfortunately lacking. Phantom awards still showing and numerous unfixed.
Updated app now worn work at all
They updated the app so figured it try again. Now won’t work at all. Can’t even log in.

Premium Features Not Unlocked by Subscription
I've paid for an upgrade and still cannot access premium features (after restarting the app and my phone). Tapping "restore purchase" welcomes me to friends of Roame, confirming my subscription - and I still can't use the premium features.
Bugged beyond Belief
I made an account and paid for pro when I sign in on my computer it says I don’t have a subscription. When I try to use the app it’s so bugged I can’t pick a home airport, edit my profile or search without it crashing constantly, in addition to not loading any results half the time when I search even if I go in and fix all the filters after they randomly turn off while I search. Equally frustrating is their AI chat help that doesn’t help at all and then tells you someone will get back to you in 1-2 business days. This app and company is a great concept if only they could figure out making them work I wouldn’t feel like I’ve been robbed of 20$.
Very limited use
Maybe the upgraded version is different, but there’s no way I’d pay to upgrade based on what is here. There are only four airport options to search. So if you don’t travel between JFK, SFO, and Australia, there doesn’t seem to be a point. Even when I searched those airports with a filter on for first class flights, what pops up is economy.

This App is buggy, illogical, but worst of all, misses a lot of deals available on the airline websites. I compared NY to Milan side-by-side. App had no Emirates, which has a direct and the best deal.
Furthermore, it gives u a one way price, so they expect u to stay there forever? Who cares if going in 25k miles but getting back in a week or so is 200k?

Wont let you do anything without giving it unfettered access to contacts
Potential
This app has potential but is infuriating to use. Have to reset point programs you are a part of every search, presets on home airport reset. No obvious tool like month view as present in Google flights.
Don’t waste your money
It has potential if everything is working. Paid for a full year because of his Facebook group marketing campaign. In reality, you can’t edit your alerts, you can’t really use the app for Skyview, you can’t do more than 5 alerts, the list goes on and on. This is like a max 9 plane. Trying to fix the app while it’s already live and full of issues, while the founder knows very well it’s nowhere ready for prime time. They are hiring engineer in the Bay Area but with the low pay, they will only attract new heads. Maybe in 5 years they “might be” ok but right now, save your money

Currently shows “roame-dev” as the title. Pretty glitchy and doesn’t save previous searches all the time. But I think it’ll get there with a bit more work

Helpful for searching for flights, but has technical issues
Useful for searching and scouring many different programs and cities for flights and ways to use points.
It does crash very often. I try to search using SkyView and it crashes and cannot do so. It doesn't crash when I just use the real time search, which is much less efficient.
