This is a joke now
It used to be useful app. Now there seems to be no support ( automatic replies with LLM do no lt count ) , data deletion and privacy protection aren’t actually working , blocking and robot replies are not engaging right ( regular blocking and screening are actually built into iOS now ). So no actual service or entertainment value anymore .

This app is a complete scam. Less than a minute after I signed up I got a spam call and it did not block it at all. Immediately canceled my free trial. Also was difficult to cancel.

Junk of a Spam Call Blocker
Gave the 7 day free trial a chance. Only blocked 2 spam calls while others were blocked by my iPhone. Even rechecked and double checked all the settings on Robokiller ensuring it was handling all the calls. Too bad I cant post a screenshot photo of the Zero Calls and Zero Blocked from the App from the 7 day trial. By the third day, I cancelled the 7 day trial so it wouldn’t charge my card. Not worth the subscription cost if it doesn’t do what Robokiller claims it does…
Sold my information
I signed up for this company to get rid of one particular set of calls I was getting three times a day from a loan company. They got rid of those but I started getting 10 to 15 other spam calls that I’ve never gotten before. I’m pretty sure robo sold my information
Actually disappointed
I’ve been a customer of Robokiller for at least three years now and I wouldn’t have had anything bad to say about them until now. I got married and needed to update my information to continue protection. The app doesn’t let you do it all. There’s no way to change the information. I sent an email didn’t hear from anybody resent the email asking if someone was going to help me with it. Two weeks later, I still have never gotten a response.. very disappointing I downloaded the cloaked app. I’ve been loyal to Robo for many years, but I can’t get a simple reply? Or any help on an issue? My card sure worked every time you hit it.

No support for setup
Trying to setup and in an endless loop of being told to do what I have already used, with no tech support. This is more frustrating than the spam calls
Deceptive pricing and horrible support
To add (April 2026) - This has gone to basically do nothing. Calls that my carrier reports as spam are free to ring through to RoboKiller and all it says is the caller “hung up during screening”. I’ve since disabled it and use the built in iPhone screening with much better results, and no noticeable difference in the amount of calls.
App will show you what your price will renew at, but you get charged a different amount at renewal. Support is unhelpful in doing anything about it. Sometimes you’ll update the app and realize you hadn’t gotten any phone calls in over a day. You have to accept their privacy policy before you can actually receive calls. Price jumped up almost 50% in one year. Sometimes calls don’t always work. People will say they called, it rang once, then hung up on them.

Instead of fixing issues; they tell you to cancel… so I’m canceling!
I’ve been paying for RoboKiller for years now and I know my app hasn’t been screening and helping with calls for some time now, but every time I contact them (no way to get a “live” person (which is part of the problem), they throw suggestions at me which I would still need help with… and my most recent communication with them is what is causing me to cancel. Rather than try to get my problem fixed, they told me “sorry to see you go… and I can contact Apple for a credit.” Okay, if that’s how you resolve issues… good riddance! I used to tell others about RoboKiller app and now I will advise them NOT to use it!

Bait-and-Switch Pricing
If pricing on your website is $4.99/mo or $39.99/yr why does the app want $7.99/wk or $129.99/yr? This makes your actual monthly cost almost 7x the published cost, and a yearly plan more than twice as much. Pricing is from your competing services comparison pages, so in addition to being unfair to consumers to dramatically increase the cost when it's time to close the sale, it's unfair business competition. Oh yeah, and your privacy policy and ToS links just reload your home page. It's tough to believe everything you say about how great you are, when you can't even provide accurate consumer information.

Feeling hoodwinked
So I receive anywhere from 20-79 calls per day and it’s infuriating. Over a month of use only 18 calls were blocked and I receive the same voicemail 12 or some times on any given day and this app has done literally nothing to detour it.
I wasted paying for a year only to feel the same way and wish that legislation would actually handle this.

I’ve been using the app since 2022. It just doesn’t work right the last few months. I have all the correct settings on, and Everyday new random numbers call me and aren’t silenced

Getting between 10-15 voicemails per day of “your not google verified” messages. I block all the numbers, and then the next day I get another 10, 12, 15 voicemails. Have no idea why Robokiller is letting them even come to my voicemail, and not Robokiller’s voicemail. Hands-down, one of the worst apps I have.

Still getting 2-5 calls on average every day. And now when the calls are coming in caller ID is actually “tagging” them as FRAUD, SPAM, SPOOF, yet RoboKiller is still allowing them to come through. It doesn’t make any sense at all. Further more, it’s also unfortunate that I have to be to one to block these calls manually, on my phone, just so RoboKiller’s database is updated with the work I’m doing. I don’t understand how this app gets so many good reviews and ratings.

I wouldn’t waste your time
I installed this as a free trial and wish I would have never done it. It blocks calls you don’t want blocked, doesn’t block the ones you want and is terrible on blocking unwanted text. I had to constantly tell the app to block texts from one particular spammer and once blocked the app says you won’t ever be bothered again by this advertisement, only to have to block them again and again. Why pay the money for something that doesn’t work. Now I have to go through the process of calling my carrier and tell them to stop calling forwarding to them, because just uninstalling the app doesn’t do it for those calls I do want to receive.

Stopped working after several years. Support is an AI loop
Unfortunately this stopped work for me and they apparently don’t have any human support, just AI that responds with the same message. I’ve had to unsubscribe and uninstall. Stay away and look for a different app.
Blocking ranges is useless
You said I could block a whole area code that is always spam calls. Your number ranges require 5 digits and won't take 3. And you run "out of storage" after entering 20 5 digit numbers. Stupid. Misleading. I'm deleting your app and want my money back. Your documentation specifically says you can block an area code, I read before I subscribed.

Tried this to block dozens of calls I received daily from spoofed numbers. Unfortunately it did not stop these calls.
Scammers Apple support Team
Apple support can care less about giving refunds when you chose the wrong subscription. I wanted to do the weekly spam call blocker and accidentally did the yearly for $129.99. I put in a request. Apple denied me twice. So this just lets me know that they’re only about taking your money trying to rip you off because they don’t even give a reason why they denied you. So be careful when you do a subscription through Apple because I guess at times they’re scammers. I guess they have to meet a quota, of so many times a month where they need to scam people and take their money so be careful.
Good app with glitches
It’s unfortunate that you have to silence any unknown caller for it to work. I have medical offices calling me and the numbers are rarely the same. I never want these silenced, as getting a doctor or a nurse on the phone is a disaster. Same with work. I use my cell for work, I can’t silence unknown calls. Not a fit for me, unfortunately.

Had enough of this app. It started out promising but the issues that exist and the lack of customer service tells me all I need to know about how important their customers are to this company.

Poor against AI caller on iphones
For the past 2-3 months, Robokiller has been failing to stop scam callers especially AI. I have been constantly bugged by them and manually blocking these calls one by one

False advertising?
In-App rates listed at $8/mo or $90/yr, but actual rates after downloading app are $8/WEEK & $130/year! Was willing to give it a try for the listed price, but not for the actual price.
