Also the rock I gave it to identify is a tested star sapphire, not even close to correct.
This is a best guess app, not a rock identification app. Needs to be renamed to rockhound basics or something less misleading

One gemstone. 5 pics. 5 different stones identified. None were correct.
Does not work
Every Emerald I take a picture of, it identifies as aquamarine….
Only 2 free scans a day!!
I seen the ad and was excited to start a new hobby with my daughter, going to our creek and hunting for cool rocks. I don’t think there is a word for how disappointed I was to find such a small limit. Should be more upfront about what you get for free. I feel the reviews and such are so misleading.
Waste of time and money
This is for beginners possibly. Out of all the photos I asked for it to identify, it guessed ALL of them WRONG.
Not very accurate
I was trying to identify some of my rocks but knew most but the app kept identifying as same thing! Sorry deleted!
