Lazy port
Long time fan who played the original on super famicom (still have the cartridge!) here.
I can forgive the utter lack of modernization (low FPS, no support for new screen sizes etc). What I absolutely cannot stand is the fact that despite the Japanese language support being there (you can activate it by setting the iOS language to Japanese), there is no in-game or app settings-based way (preferred language) to enable it. Come on guys. Aren’t we past the days of faux region locked games??? Please enable the language selection in some way and this is a 5-star revival of a squaresoft golden age masterpiece.
