Zero Way To Contact
First time using this app to track a package. The worst! I’ve been waiting all day for a delivery that was supposed to be here yesterday. The app says nothing more than out for delivery! Can’t find a phone number to call to check the status or even speak with someone.

So there are absolutely no human beings to help and a huge flaw in their tracking system. If a merchant chooses to use Amazon shipping, this app treats it like an Amazon package. However - if you don’t use the same email as your Amazon account - it will not show tracking and there is absolutely no way to reach a human being to resolve the issue. Secondly the Amazon account never stays connected to the app. You have to weekly reconnect your Amazon to this app. Not so good for one stop tracking.

Borderline Useless
It rarely correctly updates the status of my packages. It also has me logging into Amazon several times per day as it is constantly asking to reconnect. There is no customer support for shoppers, especially if you’re not reaching out about a specific package, and even that doesn’t offer you support, it just shows the order information on a different page. At this point, this is more like a list to keep track of all the packages I need to personally follow on my own since nothing updates in this app once it picks up the order.

Tracking Packages
Route is the absolute worst at tracking packages!! Updates are slow to non existent, and some never even update at all! I get better tracking info directly from the vendor or even through USPS. Honestly, I’m about to delete my Route app because it’s totally useless. Worst ever at tracking packages!!!!!

Don’t get fooled
I’m honestly baffled by all the higher reviews for this app. Perhaps those are by folks with one or two packages. But if you’re someone with a lot of packages always coming or going, this is definitely not the app for you. Especially if a lot of those packages are with normal carriers like USPS or UPS. Everyday, I’m getting notifications “your package is out for delivery”, when I open that notification, it shows me a package tracking number (there are never any details about the package though, even though it’s getting these numbers from emails that literally include package details). When I tap the tracking number within the route app, 99% of the time, it’s a package that arrived anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks earlier, yet this app notified me it’s out for delivery. That item was sent USPS, so a standard carrier.
This is just an example. There’s no way to actually remove a package from the app either, so you’re stuck with bogus incorrect notifications all the time for packages that you can’t identify unless you memorized all the tracking numbers.
I really don’t like the app. Sure I bought into all the reviews and the pretty UI, but don’t be fooled. The actual quality of the app’s function is a mess, chaotic at best, inaccurate beyond usefulness, and lacks some basic functions you would expect a tracking app to have. Deleting it off my phone once this review is submitted.

Useless service
This service is useless. They are just another middle man between you and seller. My package got lost and route was useless, it showed me the wrong location but there is so claim to file with them or any support, it’s all on me and USPS. IDK why anyone would pay for some extra middle man service to provide essentially nothing besides useless updates on a package USPS already gives us. Ai slop company don’t waste your money

I really try to report incorrect info using the feature in the app, or contact support to report bugs, which they make incredibly difficult to do, nothing ever improves. It just seems they don’t care.

Absolute scam of a company
I purchased Route Protection for an item I ordered via internet. It was sent USPS and said delivered. Never received item. Contacted route and was told to wait a week to file claim. I chose the “refund by Venmo” option. I was issued a transaction ID and told to await refund. Never happened. I was told by Route to reach out to Venmo to clear up error. I did just that. The transaction ID doesn’t exist. Route told me they did their part and to continue to contact Venmo. This is a complete s am of a company. Stay away.

Terrible app, glitchy
I have had this app for 3 years. It’s always worked fine and tracked my orders well. But in the past year, it has not worked! Every time I go to the app, it is frozen and I cannot click anything and the buttons don’t work. They literally DO NOT WORK. I’ve tried exiting the app, closing it, and opening it again, and it still won’t work. I’ve deleted it and re downloaded it and nothing. Works. The app also takes forever to load and quite literally never works. I’ve tried to fix it 8 times across a few months. This app sucks now. I don’t know what happened but it’s like this on all my devices and is clearly not my phones issue. Do not download this.

App USED to be AMAZING
This app used to be absolutely excellent. I don’t know what happened to this app, but for about the last 8-12 months it’s been getting worse and worse. It started with not all packages would update their tracking.
I would have to open the app and then close the app, just so it would update tracking information. This trick worked for a little while and has since stopped working For a at least the last 6 months, it doesn’t update tracking information at all. Packages that were delivered days ago show up as still in transit. It keeps signing out of Amazon, but the app is buggy, so CANNOT use Apple’s password app, so you have to manually type in your password over and over again each time it signs out of Amazon. This app has just become not worth using, as it’s more trouble than it’s worth.

No way to add nickname or contact support
Sorry, but I had no other way of sending you this app suggestion.
UPS allows me to add a nickname to an order. Route doesn’t. Simple missing feature. Many orders are not identifiable by the info you show. I need to look them in my email. Once I do that, I’d like to rename the shipment in Route to something more useful for me. The UPS app has this feature. I use it all the time. Route does not, but should.
I gave you one star because you offer no easy way to give you suggestions. After clicking around for 10 minutes I gave up and left you a 1-star review. Sorry dudes.

Never gets past “label created” for Amazon
A few weeks ago the app just stopped tracking my Amazon packages other than showing “label created”. It never updates from there. It had worked previously before. No support that I can find for the app so the issue remains unresolved and hence the app is worthless. It still works fine for other shipments other than Amazon.

Not updating
I have used the app for years with zero problems. Today I decided to review it which lead me to read the last couple months of reviews. This app used to be pretty nice, and very functional. Over the last 6 months or so (from about Sept2025), it has steadily gotten less useful. It never stays logged into Amazon for more than a few days(used to stay logged in for weeks at a time), it won’t import passwords into the Amazon sign in field from the Passwords app (on iOS, and the passkey feature doesn’t work either), it no longer updates tracking numbers for Amazon orders (they never change status to shipped, it’s always ordered, that’s it), it’s not easy or convenient to simply add a USPS (or other shipper) tracking number (it has to be associated with some type of product vendor, which is annoying because sometimes I want to track packages that I send to people, or that they have sent to me), there’s no way to contact user support to notify the developer of issues you may come across in the app, so I guess after several years of use, I’ll be deleting this app. As I said before, it was pretty useful when I got it, but now it doesn’t really do anything useful. Oh well.

Not accurate
I’ve been using this app for quite some time & it worked fine which I liked. Lately, since last year, I’ve been having issues with constant double to even triple trackings on the same tracking numbers and constant incorrect carriers with my tracking. It’s annoying to the point I have to manually delete it all and then re-enter the tracking numbers individually and wait till it acknowledges it. Once it does, I then had to report incorrect carrier & change it myself. Some of them changes after a couple of minutes but some don’t which I have to repeat process again. Very frustrating & will not be replying on this app anymore.

Doesn’t track
Well, if the tracking app doesn’t track anything it kind of lose its purpose. It’d tell me I have an order coming, but no matter it’s from EBay, Etsy or any other international package I order, it forever says “ETA unavailable”, and it gets tiring when you have to find tracking info yourself, put it in there, and it still doesn’t track!
One star for it shows I have an order, another star for when it worked before

Not very efficient
Any updates you get with your packages are either non existent, or they are not updated correctly. Many packages were delivered, or canceled, and route is still saying they are still in route. It doesn’t even provide equivalent information, that a popular existing package company does normally.
Don’t waste your time, it’s just clutter on your phone and we can do better to get our package information. This app is bogus.

Pretty, but finicky
While the overall look and design of the app are top notch, I find that there are a few spots where the - I don’t want to say bugs - flaws come through.
For example, especially when comparing it to other tracking apps, there is no obvious reason that I need re-enter my Amazon password EVERY TIME I open the app. Other apps don’t make me? Why should this one?
The swipe to select packages, while nicely interactive, makes the information I need harder to get to.
Final, again in a head-to-head comparison, this app does not find every package. Even when I manually enter it.
It’s pretty, but it’s design over functionality.

Good in theory but doesn’t deliver
The idea is good, track everything in one place but it falls way short. First and foremost, it loses its Amazon login info way too much. It’s a pain. Then I just had it tell me my email was disconnected and instead of just having me relogin or something simple, it got rid of all the server info and I would have had to enter it all back in again as if I were starting over. I decided it wasn’t worth it and deleted the app. That’s just dumb.
The tracking is ok, but a lot of duplicates. It also picks up every single thing that looks like an order so it gets cluttered if you order DoorDash or McDonalds. These are so common you’d think it could filter there out, but nope. Don’t waste your time.

Does not let you track it
I had a problem with my Email and past phone number that “Route” picked up instead of my current phone number. I contacted “Route” and they did not correct my phone number. I will not endorse “Route” as they keep past identities and information . I’ve had my email address since 1989 and several phone numbers since. Never had problems changing phone numbers with other shipping software packages … I don’t know why “Route” has difficulty updating their software…I will not do business with any company that lets “Route” be in total control.

Needs improvement
The app is good at keeping up with shipped packages it does struggle sometimes with packages coming from overseas. My biggest issue and I haven’t seen the bug fixed is that with some retailers they’ll send you the notification that it’s been delivered but it doesn’t mark it as delivered in the app you have to manually mark it delivered to clear it.
Before someone says it must have a delivered email to verify or something like that it’s been delivered there is.
The top 3 retailers I see on my end are EBay, TikTok & the main one has been Amazon.
I’ve had a package sit in the in the app for over a week saying in transit or waiting for update after receiving it.

Not Good… Look Elsewhere
Route just doesn’t do its job very well.
First, it tries - of course unsuccessfully - to track all sorts of things that don’t involve shipping physical goods. Buy a stock through your brokerage account? Route will see your “order execution email” and then try to track it. And that’ll just sit in your list of tracked items until you manually remove.
Second, it is unnecessarily difficult to manually add an item. It’s not impossible, mind you. But it’s harder than it should be.
And third, Route used to get signed out of Amazon literally every week and force me to sign back in. They might claim that’s Amazon’s fault and not theirs, but that’s hogwash. I have since switched to AfterShip and it doesn’t run into that issue at all.
Overall, AfterShip seems to fix all of Route’s deficiencies and I am much happier now.

What happened to Amazon sync?
I have used this for years quite happily but the last few months has seen the Amazon sync completely fall apart. It finds the initial order but then never updates the status after that. I have deactivated, deleted, and all the other recommendations I can find to no avail. The Contact Support button in the app doesn’t work so this was my only option to contact you. Please tell me you are working on this issue.
