I keep getting this unexpected error message
I can’t get into my account since this message is blocking it (Unexpected error occurred. Please try again later.). It was good in some ways but now, it’s completely useless.

What a joke. They should make it more clear how many credits a video is going to cost you
Subscription and credits! What??
The subscription feels misleading. You pay for the monthly plan thinking you’ll be able to actually use the app, but then it still makes you buy credits to keep generating. So it’s not really one price - it’s a subscription plus more charges just to use the main features. Feels like a credit trap, and people should know that before signing up.
Restrictive and Expensive
Cost way too many credits to use. It’s okay if you are trying to make ads. That’s it. It caters to people marketing, nothing else.

I had to buy 3000 credits in a span of 1 hour because the app wasn't producing the entire 17 second video. Turns out it can only do 15 second clips. Opened a ticket and got ignored. Definitely do not recommend this app.

Beware - you pay the $15/month and app requires another $10 immediately to create an image. I cancelled after 5 minutes…$15 out the window!

This app is the biggest scam, you need to subscribe to a paid plan even if you had a lot of credits to generate videos. The AI makes the same mistake over and over again even when you tell it specifically to remove certain stuff it keeps adding it. This app is beyond frustration and waste of time and money. Imagine paying for the AI to keep repeating same mistakes. Seriously just avoid this app.
Deceptive!
Not only do you have to pay a subscription, but you also have to pay to get tokens to generate content. You don’t know how many tokens a request is using up. I couldn’t even generate one video or do one request with the included tokens.

Waste of my money
It absolutely did not do what I needed. Not only did I purchase a monthly fee, but then it made me purchase credits to do anything and it did it all wrong. It was a big waste of money.
Error and charges
The app promise is over and over again that it will not charge you for correcting its errors, but it took $35 from me so clearly it lies. And is very predatory.

If you are using your customers to work the model, make the model free until it’s 199% ready for consumers, as the customers themselves are providing learning for it.

Deceptive, fraudulent
They force you to subscribe, then AFTER YOU PAY THEM they tell you you don’t have any credits and have to pay them again! A huge scam. Write this company as many negative reviews as possible. Talk about them in Reddit. They are the scum of the business world, everything that is wrong with America can be summed up by this company’s actions. I’m reporting them to Apple in parallel regarding their defective business practices and weak security protocols. Delete the app and let’s work together to bankrupt them!
Not Accurate Uses up your credits
I was very specific and posted the scene prompts. I served up pictures for AI and it came back with another couple. The song was very intimate and the system ate all my credits. Moving on to the next program. Sorry Runway I tried and you stole my money.
Lacking basic intelligence
Runway assigns asset ids to each uploaded asset. The id is literally 36 characters long. However you cannot ever reference this asset id without scrolling up endlessly. You cannot copy this asset id except manually as text from the chat cannot be selected to copy. You will not be able to reference assets effectively to verify you are accurate in your directions. Runway is also unable to build from previous wins and make small edits to achieve final results. I spent hours making a story board for a simple 10-12 second logo reveal with four assets. After the 8th iteration the story board was good enough to move to video. the first video was almost there. It just needed some placement edits. And it could not follow simple instructions to modify placement of previously uploaded assets. Instead is started throwing randomly created videos with wildly different effects and text styles like I needed to reinvent a long established logo and graphic standards. Its failure costs you money as each shortcoming requires more credits to resolve. It could not remove sound or music from a video. It could not even extend a videos timing a few seconds. Though repeatedly asked to do so, it came back with videos with identical sound and identical running time. Runway has been a dreadfully frustrating waste of time.
Being charged for no video generated
I requested a video generation and it violated the community guidelines but I was still charged the cost of the video. There is no way for the credits to be returned. Please fix it
Careful Using this App
They are purposely making the AI mess up your video when you have a clear prompt only so you can buy more credits. The AI kept failing in me and then no longer had any credits.
Disgruntled User
The app did not produce what I requested and repeatedly gave dismal results, and exhausted my credits. I will not be using this app anymore!
Garbage
And after it gave me garbage pics that used my points that I just payed for. it gave me a link to contact support that was 3 lines long and it wouldn’t let me copy or paste it. This thing is a scam
Worst AI Video creating tool
I’ve spent over $30 on credits and the tool did not respond as expected. I even asked chat GTP to create specific prompts for Runaway and it still failed. The tool also gives a lot I mean a lot of Grammar errors and AI errors. Don’t use it!
Worst Video Genration App
I was scammed. I bought the unlimited because ya’know I wanted to make unlimited AI videos and once the credits ran out I couldn’t even generated anything in explore. On top of that the generator already isn’t good and does what it wants. I just paid for Artlist which was way cheaper and got way more generations and they were quality . Don’t give these people a dime
Mediocre
I just payed over 300$ for a mediocre service. 3 times it didn’t manage to get my animation going. Twice I confirmed that the animation was ready but instead of sending the video it sent me a link that I could copy paste etc etc
Great but be careful
Scam ! Has taken almost $100 from me. Says $10 for 1000 credits & charged me $16.99 + $10 + additional charges.

You can not ask it for action combat videos , no depiction of violence or even look like violence. I want my money back
Glitchy and odd
I tried editing a 6 second video to do virtual staging and I at first allowed full access to my camera roll, well the app kept kicking me out and I tried this with multiple videos. So I then limited access and selected the videos I wanted to edit and then it was still kicking me out and kept asking me to allow full access.

Cannot test before purchasing
The app is labeled as an “AI Video Generation”, but does not allow you to even create a video unless you subscribe to a monthly plan. What is the point of an AI video generation app having a “free” version when the free version doesn’t even allow video generation. It’s like being offered a free sample of food, but you aren’t allowed to taste it or see it. Useless.

A scam.
They took my credits every time I tried to create a video, just to say “it’s not supported yet” why have the option? Then told me I have insufficient credits to even try to make more videos after they took them all. I want my refund.
Misleading
I paid the upgrade $15 and it says I need to buy more credits to generate my first video. What did I pay the $15 for if I can’t even generate a short video?
Fake Free Credits
Free credits are stuck behind paywall but they play it off like you get free generations with them.
Horrible customer service
I paid for a year yet my account says Free. I can’t get in touch with customer service.
Absolute Garbage
I paid $15 for a month. Spent less than 10-minutes, the AI didn’t get my prompt right even once, it then says I have insufficient credits and I had absolutely NOTHING to use. I demand a refund!!!!!
Disappointed
I purchased the $15 month subscription and then found out that is only for credits. I was only able to make one video that didn’t work for me.
Too much improvisation
AI follows instructions decently until you request an edit, then it completely deviates and changes everything to images not requested. Incredibly frustrating

Unbelievable
The app made me purchase subscription but made only one video which was completely wrong considering the script I submitted. Does not allow modifications to script due to “insufficient credits” even though it just charged me $15. Ridiculous.
I hate this app. They just made it so difficult for me to make a video and they used all my credits
By the time It was ready to generate the video I had no more credits because they kept making me pay for a storyboard I never asked for after I provided my own.

I highly recommend anyone looking to pay for a subscription from runway to look somewhere else. I paid for a subscription because it would not allow me to try it before I paid. Long story short, I paid the medium subscription. It told me it would be very good for what I was looking to do. I made a video, it was good. I attempted to make a second one and it was HORRIBLE! Ot said it would try again. It was just as bad. No where near the script that was written. I tried to dumb it down and re-try. It said I was out of credits for the month. $35 got me one good video. A horrible one and one re-try that was horrible. Please look somewhere else. Many free subscriptions give you more than this

I paid the initial $15 and then an additional $40 and can not get it to generate anything else. It just takes the money and says that i need to purchase mire credits. I have paid a total of $55 into this app to walk away with one 15 second book trail. I can talk to anyone for help. Horrible. While the work was pretty good. Its not worth what I paid. Im cancelling.
