I love this game and played without issue for years. Recently the app has started glitching mid game, where the screen starts flashing and I can’t push any buttons. I am forced to exit the entire app and start a new game with my opponent. I looked and there is no way to report this issue. Otherwise I would’ve never left this negative review.
Freezes my phone
I like the game and all but it freezes like phone. Like I mean trying to turn my phone off and on doesn’t work or swiping out. Had to delete

The game has been freezing during tournaments. It freezes my entire phone and it’s very difficult to unfreeze it!! It’s been going on for about 5 or 6 days.
Really good game. Some problems.
Fun to play. I’ve been playing for years. Here are some negatives that are negative enough for me to remove 2 stars. When you chat with another player, there’s no proper SEND key, so I often end up deleting my message. Also, Ruzzle often causes me to resign from a game, even though I have no plans to do so. At the beginning of a game, it’s often impossible to swipe on the top left game boxes. Sometimes I want to challenge another player to a game, but Ruzzle simply won’t let, even though I haven’t been blocked. Those are a few negatives, but overall, it’s a terrific game. I’ve made “friends “ on the other side of the ocean and we’ve been playing for years! UPDATE JUNE ‘26: I used to LOVE Ruzzle. I’ve been playing for years. Ruzzle is constantly freezing. It makes me crazy. I can’t play this way. It’s not my phone because no other app is doing it. Goodbye, Ruzzle.

Glitches
I've had this game for about two weeks. When it works it's great. It has glitched since the first day. It glitches my entire phone. This is the ONLY game I have that does this, I'm on an iPhone 16. The game will glitch and it locks up my entire phone. It has become worse to the point I am deleting it today. It's super fun but it's not worth messing up my phone for it.

Beware of this game. I’m unsure if there’s malware in it or what. It has crashed my phone 3 times. The last time, it took 30 minutes to turn back on. I’ve deleted the app. I had been playing for years.
ENDLESS PROBLEMS
Do you people even read the bad reviews or make any effort to fix all the bugs?? First, the sound has been cutting in and out for MONTHS! Second, the ads are beyond aggressive and sometimes lock your entire phone. UNACCEPTABLE. Now the weekly sushi event has been stuck on “play for free in 4h 59m” for a full day and counting now. What a crock. IDK why bothering with that rigged event anyway since you always seem to lose, no matter how well you play. I have been playing for years but I am ready to finally delete this once and for all. Several reviews say they’re getting ads despite paying for ad-free. That is horrible greed and they should all be refunded ASAP. You need to rectify these bugs or you are going to lose all your players.

Corrupt Ads are a problem
Why are there now ads that pop up in the middle of a game. First you had ads that don’t end and you have to shut the game down to get it to stop. Today, ads have begun, popping up right in the middle of playing a round!! so many ads that freeze your screen and forced you to click if you wanna get out. This app developer needs to check out who they’re selling headspace to and if they’re scammers! I’ve been playing for years, but today I deleted the app. It cannot be trusted.

Annoying Ad
Even though I paid to eliminate ads, they keep showing up in practice mode. Because of that I rarely play the game anymore. Some of the changes made over the years have also made it less enjoyable. Good job at ruining what used to be a fun game.
TOO MANY ADS
would give 5 stars I use to be able to enjoy but cannot now without 5 million ads popping up MID game it’s gotten ridiculous. Ads after a game fine but several in the middle of a game is insane! Actual tv apps have less ads/commercials than this!

It was a great game and I used to have fun playing until they added videos at the bottom. While you’re playing, it is easy to accidentally hit the link, which causes a commercial to pop ruining your concentration and eating your time. I am deleting the game!😡

Frustrating ads
Would be a great game but had to sit through two very lengthy ads that required me to click out to the store and back into the game just to play one practice round. If I can’t even trial the game without these terrible ads, I won’t even consider paying for a game. What an annoying waste.

With the latest iOS update (26.5), playing Ruzzle will often cause the screen to freeze, and cannot be shut down. I have to reboot the phone before I get control back.

How am I supposed to play against the time limit when you guys allow ads to keep popping up in the middle of the game? Deleting this app. I download this because I remember playing this when I was younger with friends and it was very fun. Now it’s no point in playing and the ads cost you time which cost you the round which will cost you the entire game. Because of the ads I lost multiple rounds and games.

This has been my all time favorite game for over 10+ years but the recent update has the game crashing mid play. Customer service keeps telling me to do the same thing over and over, turn airplane mode off then on, close the game and sign back in, delete and reinstall. I’VE DONE THAT 4 TIMES NOW! What's going on?!
Ive been addicted to Ruzzle for years. I love this game but I'm so frustrated and angry. I paid to get ads removed yet everytime I play the practice mode (that's how addicted I am that I also play practice mode all day) ads now show up constantly and now practice mode is only one minute and not 2 minutes like it used to be for years, as long as I've been playing. Cmon Ruzzle, you guys made changes and ALL have been unnecessary (it seems) and negative. Nothing pleasant about all your updates
Earning Credit
While I enjoy the game, for too long, the game does not provide credits for wins and competitions correctly. If I want to continue playing, I have to sit through a bunch of ads just to collect coins. Too bad. The game and competitions themselves are enjoyable.
