Unreliable transfers
Tried transferring content to iOS many times and it constantly failed for pairing and disconnected during transfer.

Just an overall pain for switching to any Samsung device and an iPhone device
First impressions nice it’s gonna be fast andddddd nope takes at least 3 mins or more and it won’t even register the 2 devices I’m trying to transfer my data and account from like I get you’re gonna have a lottttttt of data and it probably will take a WHILE later on but it should probably be like 10 mins or something like that but it’s just a pain to transfer things to & from and in my experience it’s not good and not really worth it and I would say get something better if u can get it

No matter what it fails at 0.7% if you have messages selected. Very frustrating.

Wrong direction
From my android device I chose to transfer from that device to. All that’s happening is transferring from my new iPhone into the android.
Samsung to IPhone
This app does not work to wirelessly transfer data from my Samsung to my iPhone. Pretty frustrating
No QR code
When i try to switch from my iphone 13 to the Z flip 7 that i need to transfer my data to because my last one broke and cant transfer via QR code it doesn’t work! It just shows a display of the camera instead of a QR code, nor does the wired option work at all even on the latest version!
Confused
Hello! I just transferred from having an Android to an IPhone recently. I was told by T-Mobile to download this app (free of charge) to make the transferring process easy. However after waiting 5 hours nothing was transferred over and I lost a lot of valuable information that I had from my previous phone. To top it off, as I was looking through my bank statements I noticed that on top of all my photos, and important account information that’s now gone, I’ve been getting charged monthly for the service. I had emailed prior to this review, however not only did no one get back to me but when I tried to cancel manually via the app or through my App Store ( As I would normally with my old phone) I was unable to do so. Not enraged, just extremely disappointed. I lost a lot of valuable information from my previous phone, MONTHS of money and with no response still. Maybe with writing this, someone will finally reach out. Thanks.

iPhone 13 Pro Max fails
Fails to begin sync with Galaxy S24, iPhone asks to change settings for Calendar and Reminders, there are no options in these apps for Smart Switch. Nothing under Privacy either. Unable to bypass this screen to go further in the process. iPhone os 18.1. Galaxy S24 Ultra fresh out of the box haven't updated it yet.

Uh….like HOW the heck can I scan a BLACK square(also depicted on your App Store site) to transfer wirelessly?!?!? I guess since your app does NOT work as advertised, I’ll now have to drive to town and see if I can get this special cable your instructions say I need for a direct port to port connection. I’m wondering if even THAT will work! Poor app 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Cable doesn't work
Bought a brand new cable to transfer content and the app doesn't even detect that there's a connection. I can't even connect wirelessly, either. What's wrong with your app, Samsung?

La versión de scann no funciona correctamente ambos equipos quieren código y ninguno da el código para activar o sea que no funciona. Al poner conectar inalámbrica mente la app envía la cámara del scanner y no envía en código, he desactivado la app y la he activado en varios equipos y en todos hace lo mismo. Mi opinión quitar opción de scann en esa app.
Would only work wirelessly, and only got partial data
I so wanted this to work. Using an older iphone 11 to Galaxy S24: would scan using cable and start, but after 5 seconds would say the connection was lost. I gave up after 5 attempts.
For some reason, if you transfer wirelessly you don’t get text message history or home screen data. Weird and frustrating.

Privacy issue
No idea why this app needs, and will not work without, access to my contacts and my calendar in order to stream photos from my phone to tv but I will not be finding out.

This app is perhaps the worst app on the Apple Store and a disgrace to Samsung.
As I help my mother transfer her files between new and old Samsung phones, I am forced to download this cesspool of an app.
Ignore the usual poor interface, the real crime is the app claims “not enough space” referring to the OLD PHONE. Explain how I can’t transfer to a new LARGER phone?
Apparently I need to free up 2.7 GB so I choose not to transfer 17 GB of apps. But the genius Samsung Switch claims that I still need to free 2.1 GB??? To add insult to injury, online sources show this issue has been around for years?

Would not allow me to use the app
I have permission to the app to everything but still prompt the message in order to use the app to allow permission. This is annoying. Just do better on this crappy apps.

Hello, I’m writing this review because the app does not let me transfer the data from my note 5 and it’s saying scan qr code but there is no QR code in the start screen when you reset it.
Only 30 days of text messages
This is not enough. I need all the messages to transfer from my iPhone. If not then I am forced to go back and forth between the phones which defeats the purpose of me having the new Samsung.
