Bad!
I’ve been trying to create an account online. Identification goes through then I get an email that something went wrong, do it again, it goes through and error again. Setting up an appointment to do it physically ends up with an error. This is typical of legacy banks wanting to go online. Bad and frustrating!
Locked Out
I can no longer login with a passport number and I am locked out of my account.
Buggy
When you buy something online it makes you confirm in the app. But if by some chance you already have the app open, you cannot confirm your purchase. You have completely quit the app and do everything again.

Se queda estancada en ‘recopilando productos’. Lleva asi meses, no consigo entrar…
Deja que desear
La aplicación en mala, realmente mala. Lo más molesto es que el 95% que intentas abrirla para consultar algo, se queda atascada en "Recopilando Productos”. Vamos, como para una prisa. Es inútil si quieres depender de ella para transacciones importantes. Vergonzoso para un banco que vende modernidad y accesibilidad.
Surprisingly bad systems
Not surprised it has high reviews - they ask on you on the app how your experience was. If you click good, it brings you here to leave a review. If you click back they redirect you to their internal survey so no one else can see your review. That's a cute trick...
It's my first day using this bank and this app. I'm a very technical user and I've been careful to follow instructions to a T. It's insane how many steps their systems require to do anything and how many ways it will fail just because.
I had to set up my digital signature 3 times for no reason. I can't set up my online banking (it says my info is wrong even though I tried it three times verifying every bit).
Oh and for anyone cybersecurity-conscious, you are forced to use exactly 8 numbers as your password for your account, and you're asked to key it into the phone system when you call 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ I haven't spoken to a human but I wouldn't be surprised if they asked for the password too.

Awful Experience
The app has been working correctly. However, this bank is a nightmare to communicate with. The customer service hotline is inconsistent and unhelpful. It is impossible to call offices. I have been trying to contact my Manager via the app for weeks (chat, emails, video calls). I’m still waiting for a response. I live abroad and I cannot believe that a bank such as Santander can deliver an appalling experience. Run away from this bank…
Worst Bank of all time- horrible service
DO NOT BANK HERE. I tried to transfer 16,700 euros to the US through Santander. They rejected the transaction, and charged me 1,400. I only received 15,300 back. This bank has stollen 12% of my attempted transaction. I have gone into their office 5 times and they act like this is a totally normal occurrence.

No puedo contactar con mi gestor ni mi oficina desde que estoy en EEUU. No contestan a mis email (oficina y gestora) ni a las videollamadas que programo (gestora) Incomunicado total si no puedes llamar por teléfono... mi banco... pues ya ves...
Terrible usability, don’t know where to begin
The app requires multiple actions for simple things like loading a pre-paid card (signature positions, then SMS code).
When using tools like Bizum, numeric entry fields are separated, when each box gets focus, you have to switch to numeric keyboard again - so a total of EIGHT times.
Some actions generate cryptic errors like “The user exists on the system for the company and person specified” which makes zero sense even to a banker (was trying to make a transfer adding the recipient to favorites at the same time, which fails).
Usability is just terrible, both from a UI and UX perspective.

Firma y acceso
La app está muy bien, pero el sistema este que tiene el Santander en 2019 de tener que acudir a una oficina a por la firma si se te bloquea el acceso es tremendamente ridículo. Yo vivo en Estados Unidos y hace meses que no puedo usarla porque está bloqueada. Trabajo con otros bancos españoles y estadounidenses y se puede resolver por internet, con autentificación por email. Como se te olvide o pierdas la contraseña estás perdido, y “mi contacto personal” en mi oficina de mi ciudad lleva meses sin responder mis mails. A ver si se ponen al día!

Why a financial institution with this much money can't hire some decent developers and UX designers is beyond me.
I urge you to take a look at ING Romania for example, and se how they solved the secure authentication and usability.

Functional but 750mb??
The app works well. It’s not incredible and it misses à few features compared to the best online banks (eg Revolut). However what made me give this is that the latest update climbed from 400mb to 720mb! How?!?! You cannot have a 720mb app, that’s crazy.

O banco santander brasil colocou uma app na store mas retirou rapidamente, consegui baixa-la a tempo... acredito que seja alguma versao de teste, pois nao tem todos os recurssos que citavam na descrição, como localizaçao de agencias proximas por gps. Com esse app eu consigo atualmente ver saldo, lancamento, transferencias, pagamento com cod de barras, etc.... Acredito que a app esteja em desenvolvimento.
