Worthless for expenses

Used to work pretty seamlessly, now it creates manual expenses from receipts for credit card expenses, keeps saying app needs updating when it is updated and I can go on. So terrible
Scan function not reliable
I loved the scan receipt function at first. But recently it often loses the receipt. Even after waiting for it to populate and indicate receipt saved.

When the app is finally working for once. Another update breaks it again.

Whenever I make a change to an expense or upload a receipt, I have to manually close the entire app before it will respond. It did not used to be this way, but that’s all it does every time I use it now. I’m on an iPhone 17 Pro with latest software and app updates installed.

App Does Not Work
I've used for for years and whatever update they've done recently has completely compromised the app. I get errors when I try to do anything, including book travel book flights create trips, input, receipts, and input expenses. I have to send photos of receipts to my myself on my computer and do it from there because it's the only way to concur is currently functioning.

AI Expense reporting nightmare
Unbelievable how difficult AI makes getting a expense report approved. I would not recommend this app for this.
Constant refresh to home page
When I’m filing an expense report, Concurs continually goes back to the home page, instead of staying at the place I was working on. This is very exasperating and highly frustrating and wastes a lot of my time. This happens every time o swap from concurs to another app to look at the expense item and then swap back to Concurs.

The worst app in the history of apps
It locks up or crashes constantly, and even when it works it's counterintuitive, clunky and unnecessarily complicated. I hate it so much.
Buggy expense editing
Their AI classifies expenses very poorly. A simple « Uber » receipt doesn’t get labeled « transport ». Also the app freezes after saving an edited expense. You need to restart the app to edit the next expense, makes it long and painful. Last, it always throws errors cause expenses cannot be automatically tagged with « receipt » or « no receipt », creating extra manual work.
Constantly locking up
I always have to restart this app. It’s always locking up. Every time I try to update information I can only update a few things before it locks up and I have to restart the app.

Let people use older updates, some of us have older phones and OS and you dont have to do Apples dirty work forcing uodates. Backward compatibility is a good thing. Updates all the time is a pain. Requiring an iOS update is a deal breaker and sucks. I will not update for this app I will just stop using it. I will be going a different direction. Change your mind and allow older versions to be used let me know.
Software
This app made me delete all my files on my phone to install a new iOS because they forced me to by deleting the app version that worked perfectly fine. Now that I have the newest version it freezes every few receipt uploads and I have to restart the app. This software is TERRIBLE!!!!
This app SUCKS
Where tf do I even begin. Genuinely the worst app I’ve ever had to deal with, it works 20% of the time and considering this is a STAPLE app for a lot of sales companies to keep track of expenses it is just straight garbage. The amount of times I’ve had to reach out to customer service because of crashing, not working, timing out, ect. Truly sad. I hate this app more than anything. Please stay away if you can as it genuinely causes more headaches than not. The app works literally 1/10 of the time.
Unable to reserve hotel accommodations
Both apps refuse to allow hotel reservations within the app. Just a generic error message every time.
Won’t load 4 and 5 Star Hotels in Houston
Just get 1, 2, and 3 Star Hotel Chains that are not desirable.

Company SSO fails with 403 error
The app fails to log into my company Okta instance from within the app. I can log into with Chrome and Edge, but the Concur app continues to fail with 403 error. Authenticating in Edge does nothing with the app, so I’m unable to log the app in.
Receipt photos keep disappearing
Over and over, receipts photographed directly into the app disappear and cannot be matched to an expense. Also, if you take a picture of+ auto link your card you end up with 2 lines that can’t reconcile.
Expense assistant doesn’t work
None of the features work. The reports don’t generate and it does not link the expenses with the photos even though the feature is enabled.

Expense reports are more difficult to process with latest April May 2026 updates. Images of receipts take forever or not at all to process. Must email myself photos, save then use desktop app to attach.
Could be so much better
It only matches receipts to the actual expanse about 50% of the time. I thought this problem was solved 25 years ago.
Awful Update
What happened to the ability to forward or share a trip itinerary via text? Now I can only email it? You are ruining this app by taking away features that are helpful.
Very slow
I’ve never hated a program/app more than SAP concur. I can never upload receipts because “we’ve encountered an error, try again later” NOTHING works correctly or efficiently. The App and website are slow and cumbersome, too many buttons to get in and out of things I need. I spend more time waiting for the app to load than actually working.

It is extremely hard to operate and use. The Wells Fargo was way easier. May I suggest you make a video to try and help us so we know how to navigate. This card because I am avoiding using it at all cost because Hard to work. We are just worker bees. We are not IT people.

The ability to append multiple pages/multiple receipts to one expense is suddenly gone. Please fix.

This app seems to run on a cycle. Every other update fixes Allocation and then the next time it breaks. Please update so I can finish my expenses! 🙏
I’m just convinced that you don’t know what I’m talking about and this app, while it keeps on adding features, will never fix it so expense reports can be done unless you only have cost center items. If you need to charge it to a job, you’re SOL!

One of the worst programs I used
This program was imposed on me through the institution I work for. It is unintuitive, poorly designed and instead of saving time it burdens users with endless unnecessary formatting requirements. Avoid at all cost.

App crashes when taking a picture
Love this app because of the ability to take a photo and have it automatically analyze the receipt. However the in the latest version, the app crashes when taking a photo.
