Love the Shop, Hate the app
For whatever reason the app will sometimes allow you to customize drinks and then sometimes it won’t. But even when it does allow customization, it’s far far too little. I mean, the Starbucks app is worlds better when it comes to customization. You would think they would want to make it easier for you to spend money, but evidently they don’t.
Was fine til they changed their rewards
I didn’t really have a problem at first til I realized they bump you back down a status if you don’t complete the “visit 9 times a month” challenge and so many points expire if you don’t use them during a certain time. But hey, at least you get fun badges out of it I guess…
Good coffee - disappointing app
Was offered a free coffee for signing up. The app wouldn’t allow it to work. Tried to order 2 coffees - got all the way to the payment screen. App said the coffee wasn’t available at the location. I drove there and bought the coffee- no app needed.

Previously I could get a free drink on my birthday, well that’s not the case anymore. Instead it’s 200 points, but you can’t even get a regular latte for that amount, instead it’s 400 points for that. It’s disappointing when Starbucks has a better rewards system…
Can’t use anymore on my phone
I have an older iPhone and cannot use your app anymore because this update doesn’t support my phone. Now I collect receipts to put into my husbands phone but it only lets me do this 4 x a month. Really unfair to those that have no problem with their phone and don’t feel the need to spend money to upgrade to a new phone. I’d rather spend my money on a nice coffee treat. It shouldn’t be this way.

App will not install on iPhone
I’ve tried for two weeks to install app and retrieve an e-gift I received and it keeps crashing. Horrible app.
Rewards don’t work
I’ve had a free drink sitting in the app and it just says “uh oh” every time I try to use it. I got a text today for a free drink. I try and click on it and it takes me to the app and nothing. This app stinks.
Useless rewards
No true reward system. No birthday gift. Constant new buildings being made but no reward to customers who have been loyal. Likely will not return, too expensive anyway

The reward system used to be better, but since their greed took over, I decided I’m not buying here anymore.

The reward system is confusing, when I first had the app it was okay it made sense you make however many points to get a free drink. Now it’s just confusing plus I feel like no matter how much I go I’m never actualy making any points and it doesn’t feel worth my time to visit as often.

Every time I go to sign into it keeps bringing me to the webpage and when I open the app to sign in again and keeps sending me the webpage link that doesn’t do anything
Unhappy in Omaha!
Faithful customer here in the home of Scooters and last spring when the app was redone, it would no longer update on my phone. My tech guy did a lot of research and found that two of the iPhones would not work with the new coding. During the pandemic I went to Scooters everyday because I knew how hard the circumstances were for the company and the employees. I continued that afterwards. It annoys me that after several months I am still unable to download the app. It is very disappointing and also difficult to have cash which makes tipping hard. I should not have to buy a new iPhone in order to use the app. Funny that no other app have been affected.
App needs iOS 17.0 or later
I stopped going to Scooters since the app no longer functions on my iPhone.
Unable to place order
I am not able to place a mobile order at check it out it is stuck at the top, I have uninstalled and reset network settings and same issue.
Data collection
In past they dont normally collect that much data u til today. Everything is glitching and demanding more data to collect. You dont need it. It is telling us u are tooooooooooo desperate for any money marigins as well. So enjoy selling data. We can choose to input location and etc but not anymore. They wont do it without data is ridiculous. Scooters believe they are becoming like a Starbucks who is unique in their mind but they aint. They need to be stop. Irs need to chage them more.

Why are you failing to put prices outside the stores?? Or give receipts. ???
Update to rewards is awful
Why can’t I use my free drink rewards by just driving up and ordering? I’m not going to pull over to place order with my phone. I have plenty of smiles. But can’t seem to access them. The new update is very frustrating to use! Even employees at store don’t understand it. I love your Matcha smoothie. And have a couple a week for lunch. But I am loosing out on freebies.😕
They lost accounts and they LIED
2023 February’s update ruined the app and deleted and lost accounts. StarBucks for now on!!! After the update they lost my account with my several rewards. I put in my email and it says there is no account even though it’s a FACT its the right one and only one. Now after looking at comments, it looks like they intentionally did this because they were making changes and they didn’t wanna honor anybody’s rewards and got rid of the way you collected rewards. Haven’t had scooters since they made this change and I make sure my comment stays updated.
Ordering doesn’t work
Can’t add credit card, it just spins indefinitely, and no option for Apple Pay, so cannot functionally use the app
Spam notifications
Yet another app that won’t let you disable notifications that aren’t order specific. These invasive ads are going to get me to delete this app and just not buy from here again.
Wish I could give no stars
Why not allow a scanner in the app to allow the CASH MONEY we use IN PERSON to MATTER!! No point in this app since no way to get rewards is unless you are 15 again or order straight through the app and on your phone all the time and so your never able to actually receive any rewards from you scooters all a lie and a psy-ops of world loss part of my respect

These “deals” are gross. “You bought an excessively overpriced coffee this morning, as “thanks” we’ll give you a dollar discount on only this over priced Red Bull drink if you give us more of your money. today only tho 😜” 🙄😒

I have downloaded the app. It says it needs to be updated. I try to update it. It won’t update at all. It says to open the scooters app which I do and then it won’t go to anything else except for needs to update.
I’m disappointed
I use to brag to everyone about scooters. How much better it was and how amazing their rewards system was. It made it more rewarding to go there instead of strbucks. Since they have changed this. It’s not even worth going now. Scooters has turned its back on its poorer customers. It only rewards high spending and to top it all off no more free birthday drink!!! They give you a few points to put towards a hot coffee that I don’t even want. What a way to drop the ball scooters. I was a loyal customer but after today will never be back. Oh and no one is coming for your strawtoppers! Be so forreal
Can’t use with iOS 16
Very disappointed I would have to by a new phone just to use this app. Not friendly at all.
Keyboard issues
The keyboard doesn’t appear on the app. Can’t even add a card due to this issue. When creating an account I had to autogenerate everything to even get signed up

I try to order and put in my card but every time it says error, and there isn’t even Apple Pay on the app as a different option, so this app is useless.
Never have gotten birthday rewards
I’ve had an account for two years now and it never gives me the birthday rewards. Even made a new account to see if I’d get it then but no I didn’t AND it said I’m not eligible for the new account free drink either? Don’t count on getting anything on your birthday from this app.
Rip off
Rewards are way too expensive. Spend $50 for a free redbull reward or $80 for a free drink is greed.
Changed a lot
After the app update a year or so ago I lost all my reward points and had to start over. Now you don’t even get a free drink on your birthday anymore. Late stage Capitalism and greed has taken over. Even Starbucks gives a free drink…. This company is sad anymore.

Disappointed in the app “update”
I have an iPhone 8 which which will no longer accept iOS updates. The “update” of the scooters app requires a version of iOS that I am not able to get so now I am no longer able to use the scooters app. All competitors (Starbucks, caribou, dunkin, etc.) still work so you are currently losing my business to them. Upon contacting the company, I was essentially told that I am just out of luck.

I LOVE Scooters but now the app requires iOS 17. I have an older iPhone that still works great but can’t use the older version of the app or the new one.
