Tried to cast my iPad to the TV. It connects, shows the connection screen and then freezes. TV then say “unstable network”. Waste of time. Save your $6.99 week (which is outrageous IMO).

I saw a lot of great reviews so I decided to try it for practicing my dance choreography. It seemed pretty good until I tried to cast something and it demanded a subscription. In the description it doesn’t state anything about a subscription.

It works technically speaking, but your one option for paying is 25$ unless you want to get scammed by a subscription. And there is no guarantee of lasting support with this app. I’m more angry at Apple because this feature should be baked into the iPad and iPhone at this point but here we are.

This app won’t let you play videos with sound without paying so don’t even bother downloading. They also try to trick you into a 5-star review to get through the install. I bet there’s a lot of fake 5-star reviews because of this.

Glitchzilla:The app thats more drama than function
This app is like that one friend who swears they’re on their way but somehow always ends up lost in the Bermuda Triangle. Every time I open it, I’m greeted with a dramatic performance worthy of an Oscar-freezing, crashing, and random error messages that look like they were written by a cat walking across a keyboard. I half expect it to start speaking in tongues or just burst into flames any second now. It’s like the app has commitment issues; it promises to do what it’s supposed to but then ghosts me halfway through. I’m convinced it’s secretly a prankster, because one minute it works fine, and the next it’s doing the digital equivalent of tripping over its own feet and face-planting into a glitch puddle. Honestly, if glitchiness were an art form, this app would be Picasso-abstract, confusing, and impossible to understand. If you enjoy living on the edge with a daily game of ‘Will it work today?’ then this app is your soulmate. Otherwise, prepare for a rollercoaster of frustration, confusion, and the occasional urge to throw your phone out the window. 10/10 for entertainment, -100/10 for actual usefulness.

This app offers very bad casting resolution and there is a 10-30 second delay between the screen and the television. It is also extremely expensive at $6.99 per week.

I’m trying to find an app for casting videos from my files to my smart television, so I grabbed this one because it had the most good reviews.
I got it to linked to my television, but then it immediately wanted to review, and every time I try to actually cast a video to my TV the greedy pigs want money.
No dude, I’m not going to pay for a membership to a program. I don’t even know works. Show me your work let me cast a video to the screen, THEN demand a monthly payment. There were too many scammers online for me to just trust that you’ll do it once you have my money.

Why 5 stars…
There are so many 5 star reviews because this app shows you a preview within seconds to prove how easy set up is. Then immediately asks for a review. After you have shared 5 stars, only then are you presented with the fact that the cost is $7/ week subscription. I found a free working alternative. Go to your settings in Amazon Fire or Samsung tv menu and turn on screen sharing. Done and free.
