1st) Cannot play this game unless you are going to spend a ton of money. Game also needs oversight since they are sharing your information outside.
2nd) Most frustrating, when you spend a lot of money and the gimmicks are misleading. There are errors and bugs in the events you spend on or hidden verbiage in the fine print.
3rd) They do NOT care! Don’t bother wasting your time writing to them about a bug, error, or major misunderstanding in their fine print when spending money. The answer will ALWAYS be NO. Even when they are wrong and entire server points out a misleading event. They will then recycle VERY valuable things that cost a ton of money into something that is meaningless in the game (like gold). This is a joke! The customer service is laughable with an AI automated message saying how much they understand and will look into it (but they will not).
4th) if you do not like gambling or being let down on money spent in events, this game is definitely not for you. They have actual slot machine and spin wheels that they charge to use with unknown outcomes that have horrible odds!

No load no game
I deleted this game twice and tried to upload it twice and both times it stopped at 55% and asked me if I wanted to reconnect or contact support support needs a name that I have not created yet in a game that will not load. This is a non-game game. I don’t know what it’s trying to do to your phone, but don’t download it

The game needs smaller players, in-order for the paying players to attack and advance. You are the smaller player.

Do you love games that do everything they can, including matching you with a server twice your strength? Just know, if you complain, the Devs will make sure you know, they don’t care and do it read your messages.

Bullying is rampant
Sure you can play for free, but you wont level up quickly and you ‘ll be continually attacked by bullies that clearly pay A LOT OF MONEY to play this game. Bullying is really out of control. The game allows it. And since the game allows it, it happens a lot. Not smart for player retention. This game needs some guardrails to keep the bullying down or it wont new players for very much longer.
Misleading marketing
First of all, this game is a cash grab the likes of which I’ve never seen. Their “value” packs are ridiculously overpriced and any items of real consequence are anywhere from $20-$100 USD and it’s easy to go up from there! Secondly, there’s mini-games that require purchases in order to receive points, but what counts as a qualifying purchase isn’t clearly explained. Lastly, the customer service is non-existent. It feels like AI-generated responses and there’s certainly nothing the developers, or this AI customer service, is willing to do to actually remedy any issues. Overall, I would sincerely recommend avoiding this game, there far too many better games that offer a more rewarding experience for much less invested.

Initially fun, but….
The game was initially fun, but they permit much higher level players to attack you and to attack you repeatedly. It has become impossible to level up, as you are constantly raided, losing gold, and forced to fight much higher than your level. Limited actions and no in game tutorial to help guide you. What is the point of the game if you are going to require someone to drop hundreds of dollars to play it? It had real potential, but is not fun anymore. Plenty of other games out there.
Pay to win
If you aren’t going to spend hundreds a month don’t bother. The whales can do what ever they want and unless you are going to join them in spending hundreds a month there is nothing you can do to be even remotely effective in this game. EDIT: the developers will say being active is more important and that is a lie. I have done almost everything possible every day for 8 months now and spent on average $20 a month until recently and there is always a whale or two spending thousands who just dictate how the game has to be played. If you don’t do what the whale says they just sink you repeating until you give in. There isn’t a single player on our server who stands a chance against the 3 maxed out players and they are all the same faction.
Women Are Sexualized
I enjoy the game play so far, but can’t ignore the grossly sexualized women in this game. It’s degrading and makes me feel the developers are insulting my intelligence.
Whale heavy
Game starts out good unless you want to start your own gang then the local whale gang in my case OLY and Oly on server 496 decide you can’t own any port that has land attached to it because they think they should have all of it. So you can only have your own gang if you don’t actually want any ports.

New storage wont place, golden compass wont let me click on it to follow the quest, rearranging rooms in the ship is a nightmare. Get this app off the store if you’re not going to make it playable.

This game has its moments and has lots to do but they have like 7 different apps/variants for this game all with different issues that all operate on the same servers. They don’t give any guidance what so ever and finding anything online is next to impossible. The worst part is the game is 100% pay to win with players that spend thousands on dollars to get high power and bully others. Don’t buy this game.

SCAM GAME
They delete 1 stars, so I made it 5. This game double charges you, they have fake players that run up the leaderboard to promote spending, and worst of all when confronted with hard facts they just give you a copy paste response that has nothing to do with your report. These PTW games are ridiculous but this one definitely takes pirating to a new level. They truely are pirates of apple. You can beat dev players just turn away from this.

I used to love this game but the developers have killed this game. There are no events, no activities to do, you can complete everything there is to do each day in 15 minutes, it’s a joke. They are raking the money in for a sub-par game with very little to do for the active player. Even the battle system is a joke, when the blue moon comes around that you get someone worth fighting. It could be fun, but it is too confusing. I have even googled how to find fish, I can’t get fish which I need to progress. Hard to earn meaningful gold for expensive ship upgrades. I’m supposed to take over a port and get a squad but there are no directions on how to do that.
Too micro transaction heavy
Too many micro transactions and season passes, the game wants an exorbitant amount of money for basically nothing. It is nothing but a bunch of Vietnamese, Russian, Chinese, and Spanish. There are no English players. It makes the gaming experience annoying. I quit. Not coming back.

STAY AWAY THEY JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY YOU WILL NEVER BE COMPETITIVE UNLES YOU SPEND HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS A WEEK! Expect to spend your paycheck to keep up. My biggest complaint is the cost to transfer servers to play with friends, absolutely ridiculous. I will probably quit the game before I have enough transfer tickets, so I guess they are going to loose my money.

The only strategy in this game is who will spend more. The concept is fun, but the moment you start progressing, you hit the massive pay-to-win wall. Whale players dominate every event, every leaderboard, and every battle - leaving free-to-play or light-spending players in the dust.
Grinding feels pointless when a few hundred dollars can erase days of effort. Events are unbalanced, rewards feel rigged, and strategy takes a back seat to spending power.
Customer service is the WORST I have seen in any game!

Decent game, bad support.
The game has multiple bugs, lags a lot, and support is 99% AI. When you do get ahold of a “human” they give you automated responses. Glitch’s in the game make it so if you spend, your money is wasted, and support will not help you because “the payment was already processed”. The in game issues are also of no concern to support. They made a half built game, put it out, demand people pay for progress, and don’t support FTP or CC players when the game glitch’s. Fully recommend anything not by this company.

This was my favorite strategy game. So much that I decided to start over again with all of my knowledge. We had just finished Season 2. The game developers then came out with “SeasonS”. It is Season 4, skipping Season 3. While I may not be considered a Whale, I was a big shark. I spent a few thousand into this game easily. Now it is unplayable.
By cutting out a whole season, we lost on a season of research, growing and gaining hero experience.
Now only the top whales can afford to play. I started Season S as Level 34, so not weak. Unless the developers find a way to make this right, I will keep my review at 1 star.

Predatory PVP
The PVP aspect of this game is predatory to say the least. There’s no way to avoid it so every time you log back in you’ll be presented with a screen detailing the fact you were preyed upon while you were away. Higher level players often ransack newer (or F2P) players while they’re AFK. So stupid, I deleted my account after a few days of this garbage.
Unbalanced season
In season x developers put 5 of 7 top gangs against, 2 mid tier. Mid tear group has players in top gang on opposite side, so essentially 5 vs 1.
This doesn’t include the fact there is a player that spent so much money he isn’t able to be damage. He is also sponsored, and has more than one person sharing the account. Making the game nearly impossible and less fun.

They can add so much more like multitudes of factions like undead factions like the skeletons, aquatic factions, armies fighting the pirates, human pirates (more than the little they have), and so much more. There is potential here but of course the devs are lazy. I found this on insta and all of those games suck so hard, so not surprised by this one at all.

I don’t usually leave a whole lot of reviews, let alone, -ones; but this game runs absolutely horribly. I got an iPad(A16) for Christmas in 2025, and there’s not a whole lot of space used up on it. There’s nothing wrong with it, it’s a perfectly functioning new iPad. And this game runs abysmally on it. I have good Internet connection, so it can’t be that. The game has a horrible time keeping up with itself. Which is a shame.

The game starts fun but unless you’re willing to pay a lot to get stronger super fast not worth it. Once the servers merged went from competitive to poorly managed emphasis pay to play model.

This game at its core is a role playing game that you have to constantly level up buildings and characters doing monotonous task over and over again in order to progress. Sure, the beginning is cool to hook you but after the tutorial it gets boring fast. If the whole game was like the intro then I would say go for it but Don’t waste your brain cells on this..
Shameful cash grab
Played this game for 2 years. At first the experience was amazing and made a lot of gamer friends in the process. As time went on and the seasons progressed it turned into a straight up cash grab. The devs send messages encouraging activeness while a “dead” server is then paired with an older server that has 100,000.00 + dollar accounts that just obliterate all of your sailors effortlessly. And guess what, if the battle is important and you don’t want to wait 24hours, you have to spend gold (basically real money) to buy new ones. Also once you get to this point most of the players become toxic and “gangs” only recruit members who spend. The concept of the game is great, but it is only fun if you just replay the first two seasons with new accounts. There are many events to keep you entertained but the game uses dark psychological practices to get you to spend ridiculous amounts of money if you care to be relevant. Kind of a shame really. Example dark psychological practices: releasing heroes that have unique skills and stats. Then, shortly after, they release a new hero that takes special conchs (which are more expensive) that completely overpower and cancel out the hero you just bought. Oh yea and by the way no exchanges or re-rolls. This game only cares about one thing. Make as much money as possible from people who want to be the strongest. One more thing, if you have real life things and are not active for a week you will fall behind in levels. You can catch up if you pay money. (100$ for each hero) and you have like 30 😂.
