I’ve Never Been Treated Worse by a company
On the day before my brothers wedding, we had 27 tickets that were supposed to come through the SeatGeek app. We only received half. After hours of working with seat geek help desk (missing precious time with our family) seat geek never explained why we were experiencing this issue or followed up without us calling or texting them. We still do not know why we didn’t receive our tickets. We had to purchase 14 tickets throughout wrigley field at crazy high prices in order to accommodate all our guests that traveled literally thousands of miles to come see us. Oh btw we bought these tickets over 5 months beforehand. We are requesting a full refund and reimbursement for our replacement tickets. Hopefully I’m able to update this review with something positive. More to come
Scam company
Dates of the game where changed in app at checkout, this was not a refundable ticket per the app so I was stuck with 2 tickets that the website changed the date from that I cannot attend with no way to refund. This company should be ashamed of the way they operate. This is predatory to consumers and seniors who will be stuck footing the bill for a company that clearly does not care about its customers. Would pay a premium for tickets just to avoid using them again

App is a scam I bought tickets for a treaty oak concert and when they went to scan my tickets they says they don’t work cause they’re a fake, the people at the ticket booth also said they’ve had over 700 people so far get their tickets from this app as well and they also didn’t work leading me and all those other people to buy new tickets.

Sold me a ticket that wasn’t even a real seat. Took 12 hours to get a hold of someone I missed my event and they still haven’t refunded me. They even said it’s up to the seller to disclose that information, then later admitted their platform doesn’t always give the option for the seller to do so. They are knowingly operating a defective marketplace

Don’t waste your money. Many of their advertised features don’t work, they don’t issue refunds, and if you contact their customer service they just repeat the same canned answers.

Algorithm Price Abusive
Had to buy 4 tickets in total. 2 seats in one location at one price, 2 seats in another location at a different price, but not much different. Once I completed the purchase of the first 2 tickets, and went to buy the other 2 tickets, the price jumped 10%.

Theft
If you purchase a ticket to an event on a Sunday because you work every other day and the event is rescheduled to middle of the day during the week 2 months later it doesn’t warrant a refund. Like if you go to dinner order chicken Alfredo and they bring you tacos…. This platform thinks that’s the same thing
Buyer Beware.
I’ve bought tickets and had success several times on this app. This last time the tickets ended up being overpriced and on the very far side of the theater, even though I clicked on the center orchestra with rated 10 Amazing tickets. I received no help through their AI support and was told I had bought the tickets and that was the end of it. It wasn’t even possible to resell them on the Seat Geek app, which I don’t understand. I ended up having to purchase better seats for my family and had to let the seat geek tickets go for less than half price on another app. I no longer trust the ratings system and the AI customer service is a joke.
No Seats, No Refund, and Months of Excuses from SeatGeek
I purchased Grand Prix tickets through SeatGeek that specifically showed two seats together in a section and row. However, when I arrived at the Dallas Grand Prix, I found out SeatGeek had apparently failed to properly coordinate the tickets with the event, and my tickets ended up being void of any actual seating assignment. So I went from paying for tickets with reserved seats to showing up at the event with tickets that had no seats at all.
What made this even worse was the way SeatGeek handled the refund process. When I first contacted customer support, their automated system reviewed my case and told me I qualified for a refund. After waiting a couple of weeks and seeing no refund, I contacted SeatGeek again and this time spoke with a real agent, who suddenly told me I was not eligible for a refund.
I explained that their own system had already told me I qualified and had to send screenshots of the chat proving it. Even after submitting those screenshots exactly as requested, I still have not received a refund, and it has now been well over a couple of months.
This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating. SeatGeek sold me tickets that were not honored as advertised, then gave me conflicting information about a refund and dragged the process out for months with no resolution. I paid for reserved seats and didn’t get what I purchased, and customer service has done nothing meaningful to fix it.
I would not recommend using SeatGeek based on this experience.

I ordered tickets for a game and waited hours outside, they couldn’t get in contact with the seller and didn’t want to give me a refund and a whole 2 hours on the phone make sure you guys order it for a different app

First time using this app and wow what a disaster. I purchased a single ticket to the Dave Chappelle Pulling Up tour via an Ad. Created my account. secured payment and confirmed my order. Was told by SeatGeek thru an email that my tickets would be delivered from the seller thru an email.
Days go by and no email with the ticket transfer. I reach out to Seat Geeek thru email and phone only to be told my ticket was sent despite me never recieving it. They respond saying they found my ticket and send me a link of it, which ends up being for a golf event that has no correlation to the ticket i originally purchased. Now is the day of the event, I have no ticket and am unable to attend despite paying for it. Thanks SeatGeek

Plenty of other ticket brokers.
Bought tickets that were listed as aisle seats. Did not receive aisle seats. No refund or exchange given, despite misleading listing. Deleted the app.
Can’t Transfer
Wife bought tickets, tried to send them to me since we were meeting her at the game. It wouldn’t let her transfer part of the tickets unless she transferred ones that were already used, but then it wouldn’t let me claim them because some of them were already used. Transferring tickets is kind of the point of the app, but it does look nice so +1 star.
Not showing seat #’s is insane and deal score is slanted upwards

Careful
When you buy a ticket from seat geek you need to make sure your plans will never change and if they do you know people who can use your tickets. Tickets aren’t released until the day before the event and customer service isn’t keen to help if you need to cancel the purchase or relist the tickets.
Works decently well
I scored the app down because it’s one of those apps that forces you into a review before you can do anything else.
I downgraded the app from three to two stars because I’ve already left a review and it still forces you to the App Store before you can do anything. It’s one thing to be forced to leave a review one time, but multiple times is a little bit asinine. if it keeps happening, I may downgrade it to one star.
