This app is useless. They make you pay the subscription to view a small handful settlements, try it for a few months, nothing comes out of it. Their policy states that they will refund you if you don’t get any money from the settlements. Then surprise! Since the purchase actually goes through Apple, their terms & conditions override Settlemates & you’re actually not eligible for a refund. It’s a scam app & seems like only other scammers profit here.

Not able to finish setting up, because I keep ending up at a broken page that does not move and has no buttons or options. Closing the app starts back at zero. There’s a lot of wasted time on nonsense and hype during the initial setup as well.

I like the idea of this app, but it gives you about 5 options for settlements and shows options that aren’t related to the state or city I live in. The app won’t even load half the time. Total waste of money
Not worth it
Forms are often missing information and hard to use. The app itself has a lot of options, but not really many that are tailored to you no matter how you filter it.
I contacted customer service about getting my money back when I started using using the app and they said the guarantee had fine print where I had to use it for a year

SettleMate
Going to be starting a class action lawsuit against this company for falsely advertising settlements and payouts when signing up. then you get it and there’s absolutely nothing on there. I had a feeling it was scammy but I figured why not. If I got money laying around to claim why not but this app is terrible do not purchase anything from them.👍
Don’t even download it

They want you to pay your money upfront so that they aren’t responsible nor care about the money they promised you. This is just a scam and whoever developed this should just be ashamed.
Have to Pay for a Subscription to See Anything
App says “in app purchases” before downloading. Then they make you create a login and take you through probably 20 screens saying how much you’ll save only to find out you have to buy a subscription to see if you’ll even actually be eligible for anything. Pass

Everything about this app seems predatory for the user with the simple fact that the information should just populate in areas of the app so you don’t have to re type it every time and the fact that it demands it to be necessary for you move past a certain step in the process requiring you to put in your personal address over and over again is meticulous and the app developer should have already known this would happen unless the case permits that you were in a different place but it should still be a drop down option or something, I want a refund for what I subscribed for.

The only thing this app does is ask you to pay for a membership. Then logs you out. When you open it again it goes through the same thing and asks you to pay again. Everyone I know says the same thing. So annoyed that I got tricked into this.
I Think I Got Scammed!
Signed up for a free trial that I never received because the app wasn’t working. It was supposed to be free for a year. I canceled on Apple so I wouldn’t receive any recurring charges later down the line when it’s time to pay the app after the trial price ends. Then they charged me for an upgraded plan after I complained about the app not allowing me in after onboarding. I have been trying to speak to someone but I can’t even update the app because Apple has restricted me due to the invalid charge and are forcing me to pay AGAIN but for an upgraded plan that I never got to use because the app never worked from the get go!!
Bogus
These guys don’t even fill out any forms for you. You’re getting nothing for your money bc you have to do all the work. They just direct you to websites where you have to create a login and file your own claim. Other apps have it pre-generated and do it for you, as they should. Don’t use this app. Not worth it.

Do not bother. It is a worthless product. Lost $39.00 they will not refund. The information on tik tok does not match the program ….
Hard to get started
I had a different email address that I signed up with. I have had issues with my phone and data breaches and some fraud and I have had a hell of a time getting logged into this account. I have missed out money because I wasn’t able to complete my application back in January on the 27th when I signed up I bought a year membership and I’m just now using it and here it is the end of April. I would like to have someone contact me so maybe I can get a prorated rate on my subscription and I would like to find out why and what I could do about the settlements that I’ve missed because I couldn’t get the application to cooperate thank you.

Y’all, this app is a scam. You should never have to pay for this service. I know it sounds convenient but it’s a scam. All the cases take you to a third party to then complete. You can just search active class action lawsuits on your own. This app gets taken off of the App Store sometimes because again, it’s a scam. Don’t know how it’s rated so high with all of the one star reviews!

I've had this app for a year. I haven't received a payout for any of the claims I've filed. I requested a refund for my year subscription back in February. No one has responded back to me. I'm not sure how everyone else is having all these success stories
Absolute Garbage
You can find this info out yourself. They show you options then link you externally anyway and require you to provide way too many personal details. Data breach waiting to happen.

Just takes money monthly account resets as if you don’t have one no normal way to login. Ask for more money if you can get logged in.

Fraud Scam
Be advised, you’ll have to pay. There is no free version. They bait you in saying you’ll get access to all this money, but as you can read in the countless reviews, it’s a lie to get you to continue paying for your subscription. It’s a pure money grab and the subscription amount is so low they hope you forget about it and keep lining their pockets. All the latest reviews posted are all 1 star so they fact they have 62k reviews and 4.9 star rating means they’ve been gaming the system and incentivizing reviews.
Can’t get money back
I meant to do the one month subscription to see if I liked the app but didn’t realize I clicked on the year long one and I’ve contacted Apple multiple times and can’t get my money back and I don’t know how to reach the app developers

I am currently stuck on the subscription page after selecting the annual promotional rate. The app freezes and does not allow me to proceed.
I also attempted to contact support through the app, but that page is unresponsive as well, preventing me from submitting any message.

Seems like it has some bugs because it didn’t even let me get to the part where I actually see the settlements just to the tab where I choose monthly or yearly pay options.
Trying to make me pay twice

this is the first time i am leaving a bad review on an app but something has to be said. i thought i would try this to out and possibly explore what settlements i am missing, etc. when you open the app, it takes you through a series of questions that you cannot skip to “calculate” how much you may have missed in settlements. it then asks for a review before you even get to any content or access the app.
once you get through their long questionnaire, you are asked to sign up for a subscription to access the content of the app. i typically do not purchase subscriptions without a free trial but i was genuinely curious and thought i would try it for a little.
after i paid for my subscription, the app never let me move forward to access content. if i closed out of the app, i would have to answer the 15-20 slides of questionnaires to get me back to the subscription screen where it would then tell me i already have a subscription.
i tried restoring, logging out and back in, answering questions differently but never was able to continue. this was a giant waste of time. i hate that you can’t skip their bait-ey questionnaire just to get to a subscription screen that doesn’t let you move forward once you pay.

Purchased Subscription can’t get past questionnaire
It gets stuck on the purchase screen I clicked the annual subscription it says you’ve already purchased this if I exit it goes back to the questionnaire then back to the purchase screen. It is a bit silly.

This app is misleading and deceptive. It claims you can receive settlement rewards after completing a survey, but instead forces you into a subscription payment. After paying, the app resets, removes your subscription, and asks you to pay again without delivering anything promised. This is false advertising and a clear scam. Avoid this app.

Want Refund App doesn’t work
After this was downloaded this morning and I was charged for a yearly subscription, the app wanted me to keep going through the same process to set up and pay again. I immediately canceled my subscription and I’m requesting a full refund
