Neat premise, requires subscription
This looks like a neat app, but you do all the setup before being told “oh hey, this actually requires a subscription to do anything!” It would be nice if that info was more readily available in the app description or in app before you create an account. Feels like a gotcha.
Not as great
So the app charges you of course right before you can look at anything and of course makes it appear like you're solid and get all these suits. It's incorrect. All these it showed not one was I able to actually get to be a part of.

I paid for the year on April 12,3026. I have Not One Time been able to access the app to look for settlements. I tried to contact them for months but there was an error message. Finally I was able to send them an email. Long story short I Still Not Able to get on this app. Although they send me emails everyday talking about I’m miss a settlement. When I click on the link in the email it starts be back at the beginning asking questions I’ve already answered and giving me the option to pay. NO THANK YOU I’ve already paid for the year.I wasted my money & my time. I am upset that I didn’t listen to family tell me not to trust them.
SCAM
Settlemate offers a very limited list of settlement cases, that makes it very difficult to get your money’s worth for your subscription. Moreover, they claim that they will give you your money back if you don’t make the equivalent of your subscription. However, if you read the small print, this is capped at $35 (when the monthly subscription is $14), and can only claim after a full year has passed (and thus you have spent a total of over $150 on subscriptions). Avoid this app, you will not make your money back, also you can literally search and apply for settlement money on Google, so this app is really not needed.
Email and phone number data farming
I open the app and apparently I had 300+ dollar on claim settlement I can claim but they want you to pay 40 bucks yearly fee to get access to that.
Total BS because there is no way to just access your profile and ask them to delete your account information. They’re basically email and phone number farming. Can’t wait to get a class action lawsuit against them so I can claim that money.

Hidden Fees
Makes you pay for subscription before it will even tell you if you can find anything. Doesn’t make sense. This is my experience using the app, and I wasn’t even allowed to make it past the set up process because it was forcing me to pay. I did not pay.

PLEASE DONT LET THEIR EXCUSES FOOL YOU. I had Wheat Thins in my “pantry” while filing the claim in late summer early fall 2025 - therefore eligible based on terms I read. NO ONE REACHED OUT TO ME ABOUT 98% OF THE CLAIMS I FILED. I read the terms before filing for any of them therefore knew my eligibility. I DID NOT settle with AT&T. I got two notifications at my residence under two names - one of the two names I got notification about didn’t live here during the time frame of the settlement. As far as I know never has lived here. Definitely not with me. Then got one in my own name - please know I DID NOT take a settlement from AT&T. Nor did I click the email link to read terms or anything. AT&T never mailed me anything about their settlement. I never settled with AT&T.

How does this app have 4.8 stars?
Yet most reviews are 1 star and 2 star? And the 5 star ones are short. I’m mad I paid for this. Don’t get it.

Most of the settlements wont apply to you. Also bought the yearly membership and 4 months later get kicked out and have to purchase again to sign in.

You must pay upfront to get settlements. There is no way to have the settlements work, and pay for your service ONLY IF we get any money. This is not how a regular lawyer operates in this space.

They claim that they have the ability to help you in claims against companies. $35 btw… I filed a claim, and it’s still showing the same message. No one actually has gotten paid from their claims. Why lie? Especially over something so trivial…

The gap between what's marketed and what's delivered is not worth it. The ratings don't add up. I've personally connected with people who have gave bad reviews. It's best to look for settlements on your own.

Don’t believe them when they say money back guarantee. They will give you some BS that you “did not use the app enough within a year” and not give you your money back. I’ve gotten $0 from filling about 20 claims with this app. Don’t waste your money
Don’t know what is different
After reading all the good reviews, I spent the $35 on an annual subscription. I filled out lots of claims, and the app says they are submitted. And I wait. No money. Even still, at I enter the 9th month - nothing has paid out. I messaged the app team, and I got the standard dribble about being patient, takes time, etc. Other reviewers (if they are telling the truth) have been paid out quickly. 9 months is not quickly. The app says I am waiting for over $16000. Will I stop waiting after a year? Or two? I will say the app is good at letting you know that there are settlements you may qualify for. But getting paid from them after filling out in the app may be a different thing.

I first thought this app was really cool. It helps you find settlements you didn’t even know existed. Now I feel like it a waste of time. I’m feeling out these settlements and paying for this app but it never pays you. I have been waiting almost a year and still nothing. No notification. Tracking sucks. This app is a huge disappointment.

I was skeptical from the start. They’ll make u make an account that you can’t delete (takes email and phone number) just to be locked behind a paywall. Not using it. I’ll probably get more scam likely calls & junk emails from now on
Predatory app meant to make you pay before anything else
They give you a bs number to entice you into paying for an app with no actual tangible results. They just asked me simple questions about what apps I use and other bs before giving me a number I’m owed and then asking me to pay to use their app. Don’t download this app. It won’t help you settle anything.
Skeptic proven right
Was a skeptic like most people and turned out it was too good to be true. Paid the subscription fee and wasn’t eligible for any payouts so requested their “Money Back Guarantee” and was given an AI response that told me I’ll be eligible for a “potential” refund review in 3 months.
Such a waste
I got this app from all the advertising and I got logged out multiple times, I got nothing back, absolutely no money back, anytime it requires an update you get logged out and you are unable to reconnect your account. The app does not “remember” your claims. Do not waste your time.

I downloaded this app, immediately canceled the subscription and auto-renewal, and was charged $13.99 just a few days later, on the first of the month. This was no clerical error. This was straight up fraud. They didn’t even honor a free 30 days!! Don’t download this. I better get my money back.

Not sure what the point of this app is, same publicly available class action lawsuit information available anywhere, same amount of effort on file on your part, if you just want it to be in a pretty app this is for you I guess. Beware, the money back guarantee is also misleading, they will tell you to wait a year and then after the year has past surprise you that you didn’t use the app enough to qualify when they made no mention of that anywhere.

Do NOT purchase a subscription through them expecting them to hold up their statement of a refund, I request a refund and they basically told me they cant do anything since I bought it with apple pay and to request a refund from apple, even though apple denied me twice and I am unable to request another one. I know they are able to issue a refund and dont want to, I know this because I had something similar happen with another app and they wanted me to refund through apple, the only difference was that after I told them how apple denied my claims, they sent me my refund via paypal. This scammy app just doesnt want to issue a refund and wants to keep my money, even though I never got any use out of their app.

So this app claims that you missed out on $4,000 to $5,000 of past ones, which I know is absolute nonsense. And they go through all this noise and then they want you to immediately start paying them before giving you any verifiable information. Extremely shady. I would not sign up with these people and I would not give them your information.
App Is Misleading
As with most apps, you give your info, then they ask if you’ve done business with a few different companies. Based on how many you answered, yes to they give you a guesstimate as to how much money you could be missing out on. Then you have to spend money out of your pocket to get the app to work for you. Pay to play baby. I already have a website that I use for absolutely FREE through which I receive my class action payments. No one should have to pay for FREE information that aids them financially.

This app doesn’t work and causes all kinds of frustration when trying to put the verification code on so ended up deleting it.
