The agents residing in India have all access to American citizens & which directly contradicts with American laws. Report this app to your attorney general and FTC. There is no way for us to know how they are using this data including fraud purposes.

Fake Profile
I am a VIP member and have been using Shaadi for a long time. Around 2.5 months ago, I reported a fake profile and shared some details about it. However, the profile has only been hidden from my view after complaining.
I expected that such profiles would be permanently blocked so that I and other women can feel safe while using the platform. I do not understand why Shaadi.com still allows fake profiles to remain active even after a complaint has been raised.

My profile has been deactivated for 4 times even being subscriber.
They asked me to upgrade my plan on a phone call . I am not open to it. Is not the reason why are they deactivating my subscription continiously? A big question on the credibility of this app.
Forcing customers to take membership
Waste of an app. It has an option to filter the profiles based on one’s preferences.
But, after applying the filters, they even don’t let you open the profiles in the result, even when the privacy control is not selected my that person. I tried this with a friend of mine from the opposite gender.

Customer service
Customer service people calls continuously to promote their VIP plans. They call continuously without worrying about whether you are busy or no , if you don’t pick up the call they will text you on WhatsApp and also call you on WhatsApp. Train them to respect the time of the customer. They can’t call anyone continuously at anytime they want. Worst ever experience i ever had with this app.
Fraudulent app
The app is full of fake profiles which Shaadi.com uses to justify not issuing a refund. This is a fraud and scam that shouldn’t be allowed on the apple App Store as it clearly violates their policy.
Disappointing Experience with Paid Membership

I purchased a Shaadi.com membership but was unable to use it at all due to an unexpected personal situation. I asked for a refund for the completely unused membership, but Shaadi keeps replying with the same copy-paste message directing me to contact customer service. When I do contact them, they refer me back to their policy instead of addressing the fact that the service was never used even once.
I simply want a refund for a service I did not use. I have repeatedly explained this, but they continue giving the same scripted replies instead of reviewing my case properly.
It’s very frustrating, and I hope they will escalate my request to someone who can actually resolve it. Until then, I cannot recommend this service.

Nightmare to sign up/ Incompetent Customer Service
Tried logging on after I received a verification email. It kept asking for a password when I was never asked to set one up. Called customer service and was told I was not fully verified and would receive another email shortly. Received a rules violated email that said here is our rule book and gave no other info on what rule was violated. Called customer service back and the new employee kept saying look at the rule book and could not give any information. What is the point of customer service? Escalated via the email because they could not even connect me to management. No response from escalation team but the two customer service reps Anas Beig and Parvinder Singh Chauhan have continued to send me emails every other days “saying they helped and can I leave them a review”. When I leave a bad review I get emailed again with the same rule violation email probably in an attempt for them to show that they are rectifying the situation. Nightmare to even sign up.

Don’t buy any membership also don’t try VIP they are just robbing people by catering different services. Also poor customer service. Suppose if you are Hindu someone from other race will assist you in match making. I don’t how this app gets 4+ rating.

This is one of the worst matrimony sites I’ve experienced. The matches provided were completely unsuitable and did not align with my stated preferences. The subscription fee of $126 was a complete waste, offering no meaningful value in return.

Photos don’t load, messages don’t load, takes two or more clicks to know if someone is online, too much gatekeeping (as a platinum member I should be able to see all contact info).

Dont use this app they leak your number and info. I joined this app and since that day I get constant marketing calls from India. The app is also very complicated and makes you pay to reply or send a message like seriously? Better off finding a partner on other apps.

Others also pointed it out so going to keep it short. Not many profiles are active, even you get matched- messaging is limited. But then a few random paid people have access to your phone number so they call you anytime. So many times I got calls at odd hrs.
Multiple fake responses
Got responses from multiple fake profiles. Many of the responses were from physicians serving in Ukraine. Some responses were from chatbots. Just lost the money for nothing!

I paid for the premium subscription but they still don’t give me access to the premium features. They sent another email asking me to pay for 50%. This is a scam, cancel your subscription through iCloud immediately.

This is one of the worse money hungry site ever. Can’t even check messages unless pay large amount like $130. Majority of profile pictures are made up id, and not a real pictures of themselves. Not secure site mostly scammers.

This is one of the worst app that I have ever used. I was pestered to upgrade premium to vip, which is a completely waste of money, and now I get pestered by these guys from multiple numbers to continue paying more money for worthless service. A 100% scam of a business this is. And these scammers will keep on logging you out of the app if you don’t respond to their relentless upgrade marketing calls. They are the most low life scums.

I was really hopeful about using this app, but the experience has been frustrating. I keep getting the same 4-5 profile recommendations every day, and most people who send likes don’t follow through with any real conversation. What made it worse is that I started getting phone calls from the people running the app, which felt intrusive and unnecessary. For the amount of money I paid, I expected a much better experience. One of the only matches I had turned out to be overly sexual, which was very off-putting. Overall, the app hasn’t delivered on its promises and feels more like a waste of time and money.
Full of bugs
There is an auto message feature where you try to connect to a new user and it auto populates the name of the last contacted members. It’s downright embarrassing and bad first impression. When I went to the chat support I can’t even see a submit button for the chat. Totally trash app considering this are super deal breakers.

I tried contacting them through WhatsApp, email, and phone - no response at all.

Misleading and Full of Fake Profiles
I signed up for a premium membership expecting a genuine matchmaking experience, but the platform is flooded with fake or inactive profiles. Most of the matches seem automated or unresponsive. After reaching out to customer support, they refused to issue a refund and hid behind a vague “match guarantee” policy that doesn’t address the fake profile issue at all.
The service simply doesn’t deliver what it advertises. I do not recommend spending your money here - you’re paying for bots, not real people.

Terrible Experience with VIP shadi.com - wasted ₹50000
I strongly advise everyone to stay away from Shade.com's VIP membership. I paid $570 (around ₹50000) for a 3-month VIP package, and it turned out to be a complete scam. The marketing team will tell you anything to convince you-promising great matches, guaranteed meetings, and personalized support. But once you make the payment, the reality is totally different.
Despite having a solid profile, my relationship team failed to arrange even a single meeting in three months. While it's possible that my relationship manager tried, the core issue lies with the marketing team. Do not trust their promises-they'll say anything to close the deal and disappear once the money is taken.
When I asked what can be done after the disappointing experience, they offered me a 4-month plan worth $350. But what about the $570 I already lost? Why would anyone invest more after such poor service?
Also, if you're living outside India-especially in the USA-once your membership ends, you're removed from their system. There's no way to reach their customer service. They don't even have a U.S. support number.

Paying for even reading a text from my match
This app is only meant for paid users. All of the features have some kind of fee related to it. I got some matches and they texted me , but even to read that I need to upgrade to a premium membership. No way I am doing that !
INEFFECTIVE apps, not useful features
It seems this app is designed to keep people single. There is no effective communication even if you’re are PAID MEMBER. There are so many FILTERS. If you send an interest to someone, most likely it will go in their FILTERED INTERESTS because there are many filter options and getting 100% match is a challenge. People don’t even get a NOTIFICATION that there are filtered interests pending . Such features make communication hard with potential partners. BOTH Sides have to pay to communicate. If you are a PAID member, you send a message, receiver have to be a paid member to read your messages. Bharatmatrimony is better, only one side have to pay there
Invasive and full of robots
This app is a complete waste of time. During sign up you’re required to disclose your INCOME, education level, “sub community/caste (whatever that means, not a thing in Fiji where my family is from) and other really private invasive information before you can even enter the app.

90% it won’t show you any profiles you are looking for, if you pay more money then you might get a chance to look. It’s just a blue collar scam. Even their employee admitted that if we show all profiles in a same day what you are going to do for the rest of your subscription time lol.
Fake profiles for upsell
Beware of the Shaadi agents upselling you and by sending fake profiles just to get the VIP package and convince you in reaching to those profiles which are fake.
