Cant read
It was a horrible experience we were trying to cite read a certain piece of music and this app just wouldn’t read it for us. We submitted it to taking a pictures on live sending it through PDF taking screenshot and it still wouldn’t read it. I would not recommend and it’s definitely not worth the $22 subscription.
Use to be good
The app is good and very useful to use BUT it use to be a 1 time purchase when I bought it and had everything unlocked! Now they got greedy and make you pay a subscription fee to use all the features. Wish I never updated the app and held on to an older version where everything was unlocked! Recommend to find other apps!

Won’t scan
It worked for a little while but for the past month it won’t scan my basic music that’s easy to see and read and considering i pay for it to do that i’d assume it would. No matter what the music is if i saved it from google and not a single thing that’s wrong it says it won’t scan if i take a picture of a paper it won’t scan, if i take a picture of a computer, it won’t scan this app is fine it’s just the fact it can’t scan simple music

Inaccurate most of the time
I bought this app to scan choral scores and convert them to music xml files. These files I intended to then open in a notation software program. Even on the simplest of scores this app came up with a multitude ridiculous errors that then I had to try to rectify in the notation software. I used to have better success with the old NotateMe app, but they fell behind on updates and are no longer usable.

The notes
It’s a great app for learning music however whenever it scans it will skip half the notes. I even edited the photo so it would be clearer but then it came out extremely scratchy, it was like a malfunctioning radio. I ended up deleting it since it wouldn’t play it.
TERRIBLE APP
Terrible app. Literally all of the notes were wrong. They want $22.99/year for a worthless product. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS WORTHLESS PRODUCT!
Not useful for complex music
I tried to use this for my jazz band music and it repeatedly skipped over notes and the audio just wouldn’t play them. If you’re gonna make people pay for this app, then at least make it work.

I was struggling today figuring out what this sheet I was doing sounds like, because i can’t do the music without listening to what it sounds like first, and so I had to figure it out myself by downloading this app. Oh but wait . I need to do a trial for it. And as a teen I need my parents permission and money to rent it. But it’s not fair that I literally have strict parents that won’t even pay for something like this, especially if it from just one app

The scanner insists on musical notation that is correct but not necessarily standard. For instance, braces at the left end of each staff. Not wrong, but not a universal standard either.
Other very standard symbols are ignored or wrongly applied.
In all, too many limitations to be useful.

You can’t do the one thing the app is called without paying for it. Wasted my time by downloading the sheet music just to be greeted by a paywall. To keep some integrity just have consumers pay for the entire app.
really meh app
Does not pick up any other kind of note that isn’t an eighth note. Any part it thinks are rests (which they aren’t) it doesn’t even count, and just skips over half the page.

Do Not Recommend
I’ve downloaded this app to help me learn rhythms and with the description I thought it would help me, well I thought wrong… It was already interesting when I was met with a required subscription to use this app even though it’s free on the App Store 🤨. Once I got past that imagine my surprise once I use it and it can’t even play the rhythm correctly, it plays it unevenly and disconnected. I don’t know if it’s my internet or what, but it just won’t play it correctly. Overall I will be canceling my subscription and deleting the app, but I hope this review helps those who are still on the fence about spending money on this app.
Deceptive marketing
There is no mention in the description of the app that it does not support shape notes. So after purchasing the one year subscription, I discovered the facts. Wish I could get my money back.
Incredibly Unreliable
This app is seriously disappointing. First of all, it’s super picky about when it decides to even scan sheet music. Half the time it just refuses to read anything at all unless the lighting and angle are perfect, which defeats the purpose of a quick scan. And when it does finally scan, it skips over random notes like they don’t exist, or completely misreads them. On top of that, it randomly added two voices to my piece, even though I clearly specified I wanted only one, and the piece itself only has one voice. Make it make sense.The concept is actually really good-you can choose which instrument you’d like to hear, it has a built-in metronome, and you can export the audio. If it worked properly, I’d say it’s really worth paying for. But as it stands, the app has so many flaws when it comes to reading the actual music that it just ends up being more frustrating than helpful. I’ve seen many positive reviews about this app but it simply doesn’t work for me.

I can’t even use it because of some subscription I need! And it’s also not fair for some kids parents who won’t buy this stuff for them! I was looking forward to hearing it until I couldn’t use it. Would not recommend for new comers. If this don’t get a response if not fix the game,I shall never download it again. Also, stop doing this kind of stuff for money and trying to trick little kids! I swear all over App Store is the same reason!

Charged $11 for a free trial?
I was very interested in using this sheet music scanner but after it charged me $11 for a “free” 6-day trial when I could’ve just bought a month for $5, I became very skeptical of this app. Something shady going on behind the scenes, stay clear away from this.
Subscription Needed
The app itself is useful but once your free trial is over you can’t even use it anymore. Such a waste of time.
Not accurate
I tried to use the app to practice for an upcoming symphony piece. The rhythms are completely off, trills are read as single whole notes, and tempos do not auto-read. It’s not for me. Money wasted.

You can’t even use the app without signing up for a subscription. And yes, it gives you a trial, but a 6 day trial. I may be going off on a tangent, but that just feels a little bit scammy?
And you can’t do anything else. The first screen of the app is just asking for a subscription. If you want money, just charge people for the app.

Loved it UNTIL
Why is “swing Rhythm” in place of the “single voice and multiple voice” choice?? I REALLY NEED that back so I can practice just the alto line of my songs. I know other people who are frustrated with this change also because it makes the app unusable. Please contact me and let me know it’s been changed. I generally LOVE THIS app!

It also skips over rests and will make 8th notes half notes and stuff like that which make it sound horrible and most of the instruments don’t even sound anywhere near the real instrument
I was using the trumpet feature and it sounds NOTHING like a real trumpet and u would know since I LITERALLY PLAY IT
All in all not worth it but could be saved if developers tried a little harder
