What Did I Purchase
I just purchased this app to view the route or vessels. I spent time looking for how to search for a specific vessel.

Curious
Lacking coverage. Why is the Panama Canal showing zero marine traffic? The entirety of the Suez Canal. Both the southern,central and northern portions of which show zero traffic . South Korea and vicinity, no traffic shown. The three locations previously mentioned have some of the highest rates of shipping traffic in the world . Indian Ocean, South China Sea, mid Atlantic, mid Pacific Ocean no traffic shown. Kodiak Island, the Aleutian chain chain no traffic shown.

Started off good on the ship my family was on and then all of a sudden it couldn’t find it at all. Also looked up another popular cruise ship and it never did find it. 3 other tracker sites had no problem with either one. Can’t believe I wasted $4.99 on this app.

So I downloaded for $4.99 the Ship Finder app with same disappointing results. Cannot not find a cruise ship tracking app that is any good. I wish there was a app like flight radar 24. Do not waste your money on this app.
Gone down the drain!
This used to be an awesome app, the equivalent of Flightradar24 for ships. That was years ago, now it barely shows any ships at all: on an average day, it displays less than half those visible on Marine Traffic, so why bother?
Even if you pay $5 you get almost nothing.

Useless
Unless something happened with the download I can’t tell this app is completely and totally useless. I work in the Gulf of Mexico which means I have to go to Port Fourchon and locate boats there. It doesn’t show anything in the Gulf of Mexico. I don’t know how that’s possible because one of the biggest ports is there

Useless on the West Coast
Despite contacting support on the number of occasions, this app continues to be unreliable, which renders it basically useless? I am in LA Harbor, and while the app shows several boats in the area, mine is never listed as well as boats nearby that I have a visual on. I have a second ship locator app, and it is much more reliable, and also free.

App hardly shows any details for most ships. Almost all ships showing “n/a” for all categories of information.

I could not get ships to show on the app even though I could see them in person. I didn’t expect to see every ship and boat show on the app but I shout see at one ship somewhere. Waste of money.

Florida keys?
I bought this for one purpose, to track ships in and out of the Florida Keys.
It seems their tracking ability ends at Miami.

Very few ships in my port (Portland) and nothing out to sea. Not at all useful

I paid $5 for this app to not show ships I can see clear as day from my window. They show up on Marine Traffic and that app is free. Wish I could get a refund for this garbage.
App is getting much worse!
To add to the frustration of not ‘finding’ ships I can see in front of me with my own eyes, now for the very few that actually show up, they disappear entirely. Ghost ships I guess. It’s hard to imagine an app that was less worth the waste of money. This app literally does nothing it was supposed to do.

I’m looking for very specific ships, and none of them are showing up. Not as useful as I would’ve hoped.

It Just Doesn’t Work
This is theft, basically. The app does not work. The search bar can’t find correctly typed boats by name. The app freezes. This is a waste of time. Whoever’s selling this is unethical.

There are no longer any vessels showing in Tampa bay.
Exclusion?
Seems like there is an exclusion zone for vessels nearby unless you spend money to upgrade. Kinda useless app if you can’t identify close by marine traffic.

Large areas not covered
There are apparently no ships around Nantucket or Cale Cod. The pay app never shows them even when they are visible on the free website.

Very Limited
I bought this app to track tugs on the Mississippi River and it failed miserably. It only seems to track river boats around Memphis. Waste of my money for sure. Reached out to support but nobody responded.

Terrible for the rivers don’t waste your money
One person I know has ship finder and pickups everywhere. I have the paid version as well as free version and with our phones side by side I can’t pick anything up except in Memphis, Vicksburg and Baton Rouge south. Made sure we both had Sam e settings and nothing. Why can some pick up everywhere and majority of people can’t. Very poor app and very disappointed. Use to work great when first came out years ago and went plum downhill later !
What good is it?
I live on the Delaware Bay and I can see ships out there this app only shows ships on rivers and ports evidently because it’s not showing any of the four ships I see right now I hope I didn’t get charged for this!
Not worth a penny
Trying to find a huge boat right off of coast in front of our beach house. Wanting to go see it head to port but can’t find it or it’s schedule. Waste of money.

I’ve had this app for 2 days worked really good the first day now it won’t show any ships around me deleted and reinstalled the app to try for a fix still nothing pretty bummed I wasted 5$

Doesn’t find all the boats. I can sit in my boat with AIS running and it diesnt are my boat. (I’ve confirmed we are transmitting)

It Tracked ONE TIME ONLY
I really don’t understand the purpose to charge a tracking that doesn’t track. Was able to see and track ONLY ONE TIME. Money down the toilet.
No longer useful
I used to love this app. I live on a busy East coast river and I was able to identify all the ships and yachts passing by my window. But the app has changed and no longer updates frequently. The map will continue to show boats that already passed by five hours earlier, and ships I can see from my window don’t show up on the “live” map at all. It’s sad, because I used to really enjoy this app.
