I need a description. What do the different colors denote. What about the circles, why no instructions or helpful hints page for newbies

Was looking forward to seeing what this app could offer based on some of the reviews but it’s nothing but a piece of come-on junk. Three times I’ve tried to open it but instead of seeing the map, ads after ads keep popping up with no way to close them and get back to the app. Waste of my time and a useless scam.
Why force me ???
I just downloaded the app and it’s not even giving me the option for the basic account but forced me to sig up for the unlimited account with weekly monthly or yearly subscription. ?? Why ? I’d like to try it first before I pay. Garbage ! Delete

Had I’ve been able to test it I would not have subscribed!
The app has a preset location of Spain. You can move the map to the US, but the live tracking rarely shows the ship you’re looking for. Search for the ship will give you the itinerary of the ship . Going back to Ship finder that is free, accurate and easy to live track US ships. This one is a Waste of time and money.

Does not track away from land
I purchased a short subscription just to track one cruise ship on one cruise. It only shows the position when the ship in within range of land based radar. Why doesn’t it show position in open sea? These ships have GPS. I can get this same info on the web without having to pay for an app.
Can't cancel
I purchased this app by accident. I inadvertently hit the button ony phone to purchase it. I don’t want it. I don’t need it. I won’t use it. I followed the instructions in the previous review to write to someone at the company to get it canceled. I’ve heard nothing. Beware!
Scam ! Continues Charging Card On File
Do not purchase!!!! They keep charging card on file and there is no way to contact anyone or remove card! It’s a scam !!

Update: now it is showing no vessels on the Mississippi except a few around Vicksburg. I’m not sure what happened with the update but it was much better. Go back please!
