Too many scams
This app makes it easy for scammers to sell you things that they have no intention of ever shipping out, and there is no recourse no contact or anything else you can do short of going to your bank, canceling your card and disputing the payment.

NO WORTH YOUR MONEY
While, placing my order for one set of the off-campus books, I hit a button that said pay now thinking that I was paying for my order, but in reality, I accidentally added another sort of books to my cart. After realizing my mistake and paying for both I kept trying to reach out but in return got no response. Finally almost a month later I received my books and I’m deeply unsatisfied with how they have turned out they’re as big as my hand and the print is fine and it is hard to read I would never recommend to buy.

Update- this was a highly sought after item and I have missed my opportunity several times due to it being sold out!!! So you can understand my frustration when after paying a high shipping cost, to have my bag delivered to the wrong address. Granted I did reach out to your shipping company, I felt the need to share with you my experience so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Update - Heard from Shop app. They say -

If the payment stays in question, your card issuer or bank can help with next steps."
Know that I have reached out to Shop which says they can’t help for 30 days. My credit card company is on it but the company is not responding to them. To me the company needs to taken off the Shop app!!

Scam alert
I was scammed by one of their merchants and when I reached out to said merchant and the shop app I never received a response. Luckily they responded to my credit card company so I lost my dispute after spending a lot of time fighting the charge. Please screen your merchants better or reply!
Why?
Why does there need to be a third-party (or fourth-party?) app just to find out when an order will be delivered. It’s just an extra hassle and another way to extract data.
Garbage parasite
I never set out to have this app. I was trying to make a purchase using affirm and I was forced to download this app. It’s been nothing but trouble since then so finally I’ve deleted this garbage. Waste of time and space on ny phone.

It’s virtually impossible to get a human to answer any question and AI is zero help. It was virtually impossible to send them a email or text. As always i hate AI and thats what they like to use
Worst App
I hate that companies use this terrible app. It over complicates things and never seems to work correctly. Navigating through the UI is incredibly difficult and the app is loaded with tons of unnecessary garbage that doesn’t help whatsoever.
AI feature broke the app
I liked the search feature just as it was. I thought it was easy to use, and let me see all of the options through a quick scroll. The chatting actually slows me down, I know what I want and I just need to find it. If a robot could do it, I would ask Gemini or ChatGPT. It’s just kind of frustrating, because there was nothing wrong with the search feature to begin with-in fact I often praised it to others and referred them-but now the app is totally broken and useless. Won’t be back by choice until you fix it. It felt like you heard “AI” as a hyped up buzzword, and instead of thinking, do my customers want this feature; and more importantly, does this feature work in ANY way, you thought “Yeah!!! Let’s just do it!!”. I have many years of experience in tech, and it’s embarrassing that the same consideration I tell organizations and agencies to give to what their AI needs are and how to use it ethically and efficiently, was not given in a single quarterly meeting before this rollout was initiated and insisted upon. Once again, to reiterate, you took a 5 star app that had nothing wrong with it, and made the search bar disappear, or at least chose the least intuitive and accessible placement in all of UX, and broke the app, as well as sacrificed brand reputation and customer goodwill, in the least functional rollout I’ve seen in the last 5 years. I’m not against AI in its entirety, but this lacked a human-centered approach.

After 24 emails back a fourth and 1.5 months later my son’s birthday package arrived and it wasn’t even the correct size. I will never order from this company again stay far away!!!!!

What a scam
I have a tracking number that when you tap on the tracking number it says the package was Delivered to MA. Which is very odd cause I live in AZ. I ve tried reaching out to the company by email giving them my phone number and nobody has reached out to me. This was suppose to be a gift for my one year and has been crazy. I wouldn’t recommend using these companies that are on 3 third party sites. They are in many cases no recourse for events like this, no phone number and nobody response to the emails. Like many lessons I’ve learned in my year sobriety this is another one. Watch out for side hustle scams.
App Crashes Constantly
App constantly crashes. Have tried deleting cache, deleting and reinstalling app and same issue keeps happening. Won’t load new purchases and with every attempt to login, the app shuts down immediately. Useless.
Dead page
You keep sending a notification that my card number needs to be updated for affirmative action installments but it goes to a dead page. I tried updating the app and still nothing.

When I try and get tracking, it takes me to the website and says you need to download the app and download the app and I click on manage order cause there’s no tracking button and it takes me to the website. It just goes round and round and I never get tracking.

Grinds my Gears
You know what grinds my gears. When I buy something from a company and they make you track your order through a third party and you have to download their app. It’s the worst and it won’t even let me track my shipment on shop and is being very difficult. I’ll pass on shop if I didn’t need it to “track” other packages but that part never works out anyway!

Took my package back
I paid for 2 jersey an never received them! The tracker showed them in Great Falls, Montana then told me it had an insufficient address so sent it back to seller! I have ordered an received packages from this company before so not sure why this happened. My son is heartbroken he didn’t get his Kobe jersey!!! I want a the jersey returned IMMEDIATELY. It’s bad enough my son won’t get his favorite players jersey for his birthday.

My mistake
I ordered a cat lamp from Ellie, but I accidentally entered the wrong address by pushing an "-" instead of a "1". When I realized my mistake and emailed them to try to correct it they replied that they were unable to do so, even though the card I used quite clearly had the correct address associated with it. I don't think I will use Shop or Ellie again.

Shuts Down
I’ve ordered things on sites with shop and they do arrive. Can’t track them unless I have the app. Downloaded the app and everytime for the last 3 days I try to sign in, app crashes and closes out. Cannot login and track any shipments.
Glitch
Cool app I use it to track my packages with Get Back but every time I try to sign in to track the package it glitches and closes me out of the app please fix this.
