I paid for a two week subscription trial unlimited viewing, and it did not work every time I try to go past the free episodes they give you it would not play none of the episodes. None of them the biggest scam there is I'm calling my bank to cancel and get a refund.

I have been jumping hoops to get this subscription cancelled. Still haven’t been able to. This is April 23, 2026. Dated for reference. I contacted customer support, they can’t help and directed me to “Google Play” which I have never used. SO FRUSTRATING. Easy to subscribe but impossible to unsubscribe.
Do Not Join
Once you join they make it impossible to try to cancel the membership. Even after you email support you won’t hear back and they will continue to charge you.
FALSE ADVERTISEMENT
Membership is required after 11 episodes. Very disappointing. The add that came up stated it was completely free and you would never have to pay.

Falsely Advertised
The app as advertised on instagram is misleading. They make you think that’s free, but once you run out of credit you either have to purchase more credit or watch an ad to continue watching for a few more seconds, then you watch another long ad. Even ad watching is limited… this is very misleading to get you to download the app and rate it before your credit runs out. Very deceptive!
Couldn’t cancel when I wanted to
I couldn’t cancel when I wanted to. I emailed Shortical as instructed to do if I couldn’t unsubscribe via the usual method. Not only did they not get back to me, but they charged me for another week.

I bought 1000 coins and 500 coins which should have been 30 episodes and I only watch 18 episodes and it said i ran out of coins and the pricing is just ridiculous tbh so i’ll be deleting the app!

Yearly Subscription Scam!
I bought a yearly subscription in February 2026 but I cannot watch anything. I have to use my coins. I have contacted Shortical via email several times with no help or response. They say it’s an issue with iPads and tablets. I can’t get a refund.

Another television pay for
I came across a program on Instagram that looked really interesting, and it directed me to download a specific app to watch it. The ad clearly suggested the app was free, so I figured it was worth a try. However, after downloading and setting everything up, I quickly realized you can’t actually watch anything without paying $20 for “unlimited access.” or watch an ad every minute or so to unlock another few minutes of the show.
The cheesiest same shows I have ever seen. In addition when you’re watching the show it replay something every minute and a half the exact same thing that you have seen and adds another minute or so is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen.
It is misleading and frustrating-just another bait-and-switch scheme to get people in the door. If you’re advertising something as free, it should be upfront about any costs required to actually use it. Definitely disappointing and not worth the hassle. Choose wisely before moving forward.

I paid for the gold coins to watch unlimited and I can not. There’s no where to contact customer service. I paid $20 to basically watch one series when other companies or apps you are able to watch unlimited. This was ridiculous and annoying.

I’ve had to rewatch ads many times because it doesn’t register that I’ve watched it, or after a day or two it re-locks all my progress and I have to unlock episodes I’ve already watched again.

There are advertised shows that I can not find. No search says it’s in here. But cannot find it. To hard to cancel. Other apps are much better. Please cancel this immediately.
