I was a loyal SignNow customer for years, paying approximately $180 annually for what I reasonably understood to be an e-signature service that allowed me to send documents as needed.
The company has now moved to a dramatically different pricing model. What used to be effectively unlimited document-signing usage is now limited to 100 signing invites per year, with additional usage charged separately. In my case, I was charged an extra $360 on top of my annual subscription before my subscription year had even ended.
What is most frustrating is that the pricing pages prominently advertise features such as “Send documents for eSignature,” “Unlimited users,” and “Send in bulk,” while the usage limitations and overage charges are far less obvious.
After escalating the matter, SignNow ultimately agreed to refund the overage charges and cancel my subscription. I appreciate that resolution, but I cannot recommend a service that changed its pricing structure so drastically and made it so easy for longtime customers to incur hundreds of dollars in unexpected charges.
Existing customers should carefully review their account usage and billing statements.

Useless
I was able to filled out a document that was emailed to me and when I want to share it to my email to send it back I am being forced to pay 19.00 or 29.00 monthly when I choose free service. I do not like this at all uninstalling right now
App is ridiculous
I have to pay to sign a petition on an app that charges for access. I guess grifters need to eat too. It didn’t even bother to confirm I had actually signed this. Outrageous. I’ll be sure everyone I know hears about this and leave reviews everywhere I find.

I was Charged $95 for the Annual Upgrade and it keeps saying that I need to Upgrade!

Took too long to sign up, forced a subscription.
SignNow is not user friendly
Too rigid and too complicated to use. You can’t even do anything meaningful with their free account before they start pushing you to pay. How do I know if it actually works for me if I don’t try it. Unless if you want to waste your money is when you go for this. 0 rating 🤢
Cancellation hassle
I went to cancel my account and there is no place to do so, that I can see, on the app. I reached out to customer service. They asked me questions that had a link, link was broken. Went to the Help FAQ, FAQ says to go to “my account“ I did that and there’s still no option to cancel. Why?

My kid some how signed up they charged $95 and refuse to refund it…update April 25th,2026 both partys apple and sign now still refuse to refund the $95.99 taking advantage of me i have proof and screenshots of everything my child did this did put a lock on my phone my husband is in icu on life support with sepsis and holes in his colon had to be removed hes 38 we have 3 kids and these people are SCAMS and CONS Apple especially straight scum

Clunky spammy
Difficult to use. Constantly asking for app. Money on multiple pages.
Works some of the time
Seems to work with 1 or / signers but if you try to send it to multiple signers it fails
App is clunky
Suddenly stops letting me complete fields. Have to exit and go back in via invite to continue. App doesn’t allow user to apply themes (branded invites) that have been set up on the web.
Great app
However, was charged a subscription fee without realizing I was charged.
