Not what I expected.
I want a basic radio app. Easy to use like a desktop/kitchen table radio. Search station call sign option, obviously. But a location based GUI Tuner knob. This connected to an old fashioned slide scale graphic and digital number readout. Volume and balance controls. A few techy tuning options if possible. Last and VERY IMPORTANTLY, a power off button always visible on the screen. Why? All of us need a shutoff button for EVERY APP.
I auditioned 5 radio apps recently and NONE HAD AN EASY WAY TO SHUT THEM DOWN!!! I recently was in traffic and needed to shut off the radio. I swiped 4 ways and double tapped the screen but every one of them was oblivious to my inputs. Why is there not an OBVIOUS button to turn off the program???
I finally had to turn off the phone to stop the audio. Later tried this issue on the other 4 I was trying and NONE HAD SN EASY OFF ON SCREEN.
So I must rate none of any radio apps trying to this minute better than 3 stars.

I understand add revenue and I applaud it, but these adds are the worst I’ve ever seen. They literally lock you out of the app. Some will eventually open up a link to x out of the page, but others do not. The only way to close the add to access the player’s stations is to close the app completely.
