If you have the money and you are very very rich then I recommend it the teachers are great but if your budget is highly limited do not download this app. First I had downloaded this app to learn guitar FOR FREE! Instead I had to pay just to continue my fourth lesson I couldn’t even finish the first song. I mean these people give opportunity to the rich ones did you forget the ones who don’t care about money? To bad because the teachers were amazing funny and actually very friendly. Do not download this app.
My Banjo String Almost Popped!!
Title says it all. The highest string was getting extremely tight not even when it was correctly tuned!!! It never even listens unless you tuned it “correctly” not all stringed instruments can go that high, stupid. Terrible app, I hope getting an actual guitar will fix it. If it does, I’ll rate it way higher!!

i wanted to play freewill and it made me take lessons before playing the songs.

Do not buy this app. It told me to tune it because it said that it was too low and I kept on tuning it too high when it kept on saying too low and my guitar strings are broken out when I change my guitar strings yesterday.

Your app told me to keep tuning the guitar and that it was too low for a song I wanted to play so I kept tuning it till it broke thanks horrible app
Good but horrible
Ima start with the good. It it good for learning and teaches pretty good but for it to teach pretty good, you have to spend a pretty penny. Now bad you barely use it and it says now you need premium to do anything else you can’t finish the first lesson at all unless you pay like 15 bucks a month or maybe 16 something like that. Also kind of reminds me of Duolingo because that’s a very beginning. It asks you questions and asked for your email. Overall if you are willing to pay like $15-$16 a month to learn be my guest and download this app but if you’re a teen just wanting to play guitar who doesn’t want or have money to spend don’t download this app

It can’t pick up my E string

It keeps making me put my elc guitar out of toon and when I play a string most the time it won’t count it due to it sounding different 1/5 only good for acoustic

hey so this sucks a bit. the app isn’t picking up my frets at all and it’s pissing me off. i’ll play it correctly and it’ll only accept it if i hit the guitar. it won’t accept it in the songs only on the course IF i hit the guitar. (i wanna rate it five stars but i wont for now)

Impossible and expensive
It starts out very good but once I got to guitar basics 4 it gave me something so hard I can’t do it after 3 weeks trying let alone the absurd price there has to be an easier way to teach me.
can’t do anything because tuner sucks
This is the worst guitar tuner I’ve ever to seen and to get through the stuff the stupid tuner needs to detect wether or not your strings are tuned and it kept giving me different results when I would not touch the things, and when my guitar is actually tuned it claims it’s not and it impossible to tune your guitar using this app, also because of that I can’t move forward because it thinks my guitar is not tuned.

the app doesn’t hear when i play the note. i have to put the guitar perfectly but then its hard for me to play w the guitar in that position. the app sucks and is js a waste of time it’s a good concept but that completely ruins it. please fix this bcuz if u do than this one star becomes 5.

I was doing the basic FIRST lesson and after it showed me how to tone it, play a 4 notes, and how to play chords A9 and Em, I tried to play the next lesson to learn the song but it then always sent me to a tab that said I had to pay to learn this lesson like I can’t even play any other lessons on the app because you have to pay for them. I think personally it has potential just I don’t feel like paying for an I app I just want to play guitar. So no thank you to this app.

Putting songs that are in the tutorial behind a paywall is abysmal. I'm trying to learn, and you seriously want us as customers to pay for a monthly subscription, when your ads are plastered across YouTube and google. It's insane. 1 star.

Won’t pick up on the notes
It worked for awhile but then it would sometimes just not pick up some notes, so I wonder if it’s me, but then when I do the song again and I do it right it doesn’t see that I did it, and I do mean see cause I’m pretty sure yall aren’t using the microphone but a camera because sometimes when I know I messed up but looks like I did it right it will count it as right. So then I try getting a better angle so the camera could see what I’m playing, nope, so then I fully closed the app, reopened it, and put the song on again, still not reading.
So now I can’t continue until I get it right, but I can’t get it right unless I get the notes, I can’t get the notes if it can’t see the guitar, even when I hit a zero note, left hand nowhere near the guitar still nothing. Now I can sort of get why they would use a camera since there are many types of guitars so if they use a camera they won’t have to re-record a song a bunch of times but that opens up problems for major bugs like this. Until it gets fixed my rating will stay the same, and the song it was doing this on was “Why’d you only call me when you’re high” by the arctic monkeys during the riff

Doesn’t Listen well/kept have to restart app
I’m so glad I didn’t end up buying the year subscription….this app is so great for learning but I’ve been having so much trouble with it actually picking up sound. The tuner will not properly tune my 6th string and half way through a song all the notes will turn red because it stopped listening to me. I have tried doing this with just my phone and several set of headphones phones with mics. The room is silent so there is nothing else it could be picking up. It’s super disappointing.

I’m sure it was a great app, but it wasn’t really for me. I kept playing records and it couldn’t hear what I was playing got really frustrating really fast.
