CarPlay doesn’t show song titles
I’m on 7.27.0, the current version as of May 7, 2026. In CarPlay it shows the artist but no song titles. It started a few versions ago, was fixed, and now it’s broken again. Additionally, the channel list never updates. It stays with the same artist text until you back out and re-enter the list. How can you break such a basic feature? Where is your QA? Fix this asap. The app is useless in the current version.

Connectivity is intermittent and live Xm keeps pausing :(
Option less
By far the worst music app I’ve tried, where should I start??? No playlists, at least not your own. Prevented from fast forwarding a song, either pick a different playlist, no not yours you don’t have any, or turn volume down until it ends. It’s cheep, $6 or 7 a month, but it sucks unless you’re a sheep.
Can never get it to work
I have the app on my iPod and it never gets past the title screen.
Passkey update returns to login screen - infinite loop
Requires a passkey but fails to save a passkey so login is an endless loop
Missing rewind and fast forward features
I used to have Sirius, a few years ago and didn’t remember why I cancelled my subscription. I revisited the app using the free trial and I remembered why I quit. It was because they took away the rewind and fast forward feature. So if you miss something that was said, you can’t rewind it 15 or 30 seconds to re-listen. They only offer a button that skips all the way back to the end of the last commercial break. Ridiculously useless! So no surprise that I didn’t renew after the free trial. Such a shame, it used to be a great app, but they had to ruin it.
Underhanded renewal practices
They snuck in a 4X (yes, four times) price increase from $10 to $38/month) without notice. They claim they emailed for the renewal and change, but checked emails and nothing. Probably sent from an alternate email so it gets caught in spam filters. Also cannot get into account to cancel. Trying to manage subscription gets you stuck in a loop. Had to call and get stuck with them trying to sell me a renewal at a lower price. Reporting to BBB.

Nearly useless app
App is laggy & terrible in CarPlay. The user interface is bulky and missing some fairly basic features like “favorites” . I only listen to a few channels, but have to try and search for them every time! Even just changing channels is an ordeal. Honestly this app feels like a middle finger to Sirius subscribers.

This app is the most unstable and undependable app I’ve ever used. Always malfunctioning. I have to delete it and reinstall it sometimes my than once a day.

Feature regression
This latest updates removes features in the last app design in the worst way. I PAY for this subscription and expect to have features that enhance my listening joy and preferences. Simple things like, rewinding 15-30 seconds to rehear something missed, advancing 60 seconds to skip what was rehearsed or to advance past content I don’t want to hear to ensure I get tot the stuff I WANT to hear to maximize my listening time. This was a huge step backward. Enough that I may unsubscribe.
It takes over my phone even when the app is closed
The app is completely closed yet I am unable to use my iPhone media player because serious likes to keep itself in there no matter what I do until I delete the app that’s the only way I can get it out of my media player
Don’t fall for their promos
Been a customer for years. They lock you in at an insanely cheap rate and then will upgrade you to the most expensive plan and see how long they can get away with it. You can complain and threaten to cancel and they drop your rates back down again until you forget and then start up charging you. I finally cancelled and they send me a promo for 3$ month for 3 years locked in. For full access service. They got me one final time. It shows you what a crock it is to pay the full price. Problem was I wanted it in one of my vehicles and not the other. They told me the promotion is only available on certain radios, also shows how dumb the scam is. Anyways cancelled again because they wouldn’t transfer the service. Sign up at your own risk.

CarPlay
This issues still continues after the latest update. App keep going into to dark mode automatically when you open it in CarPlay. I have CarPlay set as automatic mode based on light conditions. I shouldn’t have to change my iPhone settings just so I can view it properly on CarPlay. This doesn’t happen with my other music apps in CarPlay.
Native Permanent Black Mode
Being unable to switch to lighter mode to see stations and letters during the day has been an ongoing complaint for years now amongst many users. Fix this and it’s 5 stars! I’m referring to CarPlay specifically.
Display on Apple CarPlay
New CarPlay user, but a 15+ year SXM guy. I cannot see the content on my screen bc the background is so dark and so is the font. I have read MANY threads about this with no fix. SXM needs to either give us the ability to lighten the background or make the front white. During daylight hours you cannot read the artist or song titles. This NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP
Still crashing
I like Sirius XM but after six years as a subscriber no longer love it. I don’t like posting negative reviews but I have written to tech support a few times and called customer support but haven’t received a response so perhaps a negative review will get a reply. The app before the major redesign rarely had issues. But the past couple of years there have been too many issues for this review. Currently the app skips and crashes a lot, especially when playing the extra channels. Meanwhile Apple Music works just fine. My iPhone 17 is completely up-to-date and the app is the current version. When using ApplePlay to stream that is all current also.
No Content Worth Listening To
I’m honestly surprised that this service is still in business. With competitors like Spotify and Apple Music what good is this? It has no original content worth listening to and their competitors do a much better job of curating content.

It’s easy to see how Spotify is worlds better than this app. There’s nothing like trying to use it in apple CarPlay. It defaults to the dark wallpaper with black letters so you can’t read what’s playing. I’ve sent multiple feedback message to fix it and still nothing. The music selection is stale

Needs on demand music
I wish that I could listen to albums on demand and songs I love the radio feature. I just want to be able to click a song and listen to it on demand like Spotify. I love SiriusXM. It just needs on demand. It’ll be perfect.

The worst app I’ve got!
No clue how this thing gets almost 5 stars. Some moron took the downloads off the CarPlay UI. Have to fumble with the phone going down the road because they don’t play in order as I’m finishing content. It’ll go to the latest episode I downloaded yesterday.

Cut songs
I’m sorry but lately the songs are being cut off towards the end not finishing them properly. What a mess this app has become anymore. You can’t even finish the music properly. Fix the broken app.
Account Service is Terrible
Tried logging in and didn’t recognize the email for my account, yet sends me code info. Try another email, and kicks me back to the first email. Try customer service and less than helpful. Wanted to resubscribe but I think I’ll pass if it’s that hard to do business with someone.
CarPlay not useable
The app on the phone is fine. Lots of good stuff, but not so much when you try to use CarPlay. Dark mode is always on and you can’t turn it off. It’s impossible to see during the day.

Car Play issues
Usually the app is fine, does what it’s supposed to do- display channel/song info and play music. But it has stopped showing song titles in Car Play- only artists so you have to guess what song could be playing when selecting the channel or open up the phone and look that way (which is not great if you’re driving). I’ve updated to the latest version, restarted, all the suggestions but I guess this is just the new version
Why do I have to log back in so often?
Generally I like the app. But I HATE having to log back in do often. Sometimes twice a week. Please fix!
Would be great if it worked
So I liked listening to a couple things that Sirius has that other radio type apps didn’t have. Paid for the service but it randomly stops playing what I’m listening to and then won’t let me restart it, so I have to listings another station. I have started many episodes of small town murder, but I can’t finish them.
I have just wasted an hour of my time trying to finish an episode as I was booted out on kind of a cliff hanger.
I most likely will be canceling the renewal, then they will call me and ask why. Maybe then they’ll listen to my complaint.

They keep eliminating features
I don’t get what Sirius is doing to their app with car play. I used to be able to open the app in car play, go to my library and see all the favorites that I have saved on my phone and it would match the car play screen. Now I only see the last two or three stations I have opened and I have to search for the rest of my favorites and that order is not the same as my phone. The entire point of having CarPlay is to be able to reach things easily while you’re driving.
Another update to the app was that I used to be able to open the app, and be able to scroll in any direction at any point of a show. I could do it by 15 second increments or by a slider. Now they just have a forward and back button that goes back and forth but I can’t tell which part of the segment of the show I am in. Terrible redesign
Not sure what was wrong with the tiles in the older version but the new list design is terrible. Either the images and font are too small to read or it's so large that you would need to be visually impaired for it to make sense. Poor choices for the average user.

new shows not added to library
use for mlb tadio shows. new episodes of shows not consisently added to library. for example its monday 4/13 night last listed power alley show is thurs 4/9 the app is the primary way i listen
Album Art Problems in CarPlay
Love the service and music choices. But I don’t understand why the album art/song title and artist constantly isn’t syncing up to what’s actually playing. I turn on an apple music streaming station and it works perfectly.

Song titles in Carplay
There has been an issue with Carplay (Mazda CX-5 2022) only showing artists but not song names for about the last week or so.
Can’t scroll through episodes?
Why was this feature taken away? You can’t scrub through episodes anymore, the only option is to skip to entire segments or do a 15 second skip ahead or behind.
Won’t work through CarPlay
I downloaded the app a few days ago and it worked fine the first time. After I got in the car for a second time after it would not work. I had to reboot by iPhone 17 ProMax in order for it to work again. The next time I got in the car it wouldn’t work again until I rebooted my phone.

Doesn’t work very well with Apple TV
Extra stations invariably cut off after about 20 minutes. Graphics are horrible. It’s very hard to see what is “highlighted” at any moment. Scrolling is very sluggish even with fast internet connection.
