1. Buying a single $25 Bring-a-Friend ticket had a $10 "processing fee." 40% overhead is excessive.
2. To buy a Bring-a-Friend ticket, I had to transpose the long 20 digit number on the back of my digital season pass into the app. The season pass is already within the app, so why can't it know that automatically?
3. After I bought a ticket within the app, the "Add to Wallet" button was not functional. I had to open the link from my email in Safari, and then I could tap the "Add to Wallet" button there.
4. I gave the app precise location, and it still would not show ride wait times, nor ride status while in the park (if the ride is currently closed or open).
5. The app for some reason always sets Kings Island as the default park, when I only have Cedar Point season passes, and am literally standing in Cedar Point.
6. No fuzzy search with the map, making it difficult to find what I needed. For instance, searching on "bbq" did not find the BackBeatQue restaurant.

Not so pleasant

Give us back hard cards not everybody wants to carry their phone into a amusement park, to try to lose it or go swimming with it really sucks. You got a bunch of 15-year-old kids trying to run amusement park to be a slow as a possibly can, which joke around, and say that they’re having a contest who can be the slowest attendant on operator..

Never Accurate
I have to log out, delete the app, re-download it from the cloud, and sign back in anytime I want my password perks and visits updated. This is a common and well known issue that hasn’t been resolved.

Six Flags had a great app a year ago. Not sure what happened. Even basic functions, like checking park hours, do not work in this app.
Please fix it
I’ve had countless issues with this app since it changed. As soon as I open the app there’s a server error message. I can not add my kids passes on there at all, there’s always an error. If I didn’t have the passes saved on my Apple wallet id be out of luck completely. The rewards are not available to view, you just get directed to website.. before you could see all your perks and bring a friend free days etc. the app is extremely no longer user friendly. Very disappointed.

Fix the refresh ability and scroll issues
How can a company this size not get an app right? If I’m scrolling through wait times, don’t have it refresh and take it to the top. This refresh doesn’t provide refreshed wait times and feels more like a glitch. The only accurate way to refresh wait times is to force close and refresh. The CP app was way better in this regard.

Don’t bother activating passes
The app doesn’t allow photos to be uploaded if you try to submit something that exceeds the 10kb size limit. Just go to guest services and don’t waste your time.
App freeze
Since the merge I can’t use the app. Every time I try to click a pass it just freezes. Then I go on safari and it shows my passes are expired. (Shows till end of 2026 on app) kinda crazy how they can just take advantage. Makes it very hard to get into the park anytime my family of 5 wants to go

I can’t even access my bought passes, I bought a food pass for all day and I don’t know where it is, it’s no showing up anywhere
Awful App
This app is awful. Six Flags recently purchased Cedar Point and I miss the old app. This one is not user friendly at all! I wanted to check wait times and it only gives them for maybe 5 rides. It just makes everything harder than it should be! Not a fan!
App is broken… just like their rides
It has been MONTHS and the app still isn’t working correctly. We are now in summer… PEAK SEASON and my passes/memberships do not show correctly for every individual park despite having visited for the season several times already. Some passes on show at the “home” park the pass was purchased through. Some passes show at every park. Some drink/dining add ons show at all parks, some show no add ons at other parks, and some only show the dining or the drink plan. I have 8 of my family members passes added to my app, and there isn’t 1 pass that consistently shows everything correcy regardless of which park is selected. It’s a very well known issue that this company refuses to do anything about.

Cannot login. Seems to reset the password fine, but it won’t take the new password. How am I supposed to get my passes?????
Sign in issues and pass issues
Last year I had the kings island app and it worked fine. After it switched to the new six flags app, I’ve had sign in issues as well as issues when trying to add passes, please fix it.

Worst Theme Park App
I have reloaded the app multiple times and it is not working. It crashes when you click on anything and won’t allow me to add our season passes which we need to add to use any of the features of the season pass.
So Many Errors and Misinformation
With the ownership of Worlds of Fun switching to EPR, the app and website are now combining with Six Flags. I didn’t mind this change, but its section within the six flags website and app are messy, misinformed, and just generally not working. The app says the park is closed at all hours everyday (when it is very much open), any sort of movement on the website, whether it be viewing account information or merely scrolling down is met with a repeated error. Additionally, this app/website does not connect to your purchases made on your account. I’ve purchased a season pass this year and no matter how many times I enter the ID number and account information, the app and website can’t find it. Regardless of the fact that I have vouchers, a verification email with the pass itself, and a link to the file holding the pass (proving I did purchase it, it’s just unable to be found anywhere else) It just feels like a huge step back, as the separate Worlds of Fun app worked very efficiently and was incredibly easy to manage. These issues have lasted for months, and I understand a grace period as the park changes ownership, but this problem needs to be addressed as it is inhibiting customers from being able to attend the park and access any of the benefits of the new ownership. Why should we celebrate being apart of EPR if EPR refuses to fix the issues that are ruining what was once a great system?
What am i using
This app suck. Cedar Piont is now under six flags and before then Cedar Piont had a specific app it wasn’t good at all but better then this, the ride times were actually accurate. But also for an app where most feature are in the park it is terribly optimized for this! PeopIe are commonly here for 12 hrs a day, this is killing the phones. For context, I have the iphone 16 it’s a little last then a year old. My battery should not go down +25% in less then 30 min! Optimize your app for when and where it is being used! Make it auto update i shouldn’t have to close the app to see updated times!
Ride times wildly inaccurate
I’ve been to 3 different six flags parks this year and in all of them the wait times in the app are crazy inaccurate. The app says 30 mins and it’s 60, or it says a ride is closed but it’s actually open.

App is constantly freezing when I try to go on the buy tickets or passes page and it doesn’t let me scroll. Very bad app!

Frustrating
The Six Flags app is so frustrating to use, I can’t access my fast lane or my seasonal pass, heck even use parking. The app just freezes as I try to click on something and nothing ever pops out. I literally downloaded twice, refreshed my phone, and nothing. Why is it like this?
Terrible functionality
This app is absolutely atrocious. The app continuously forgets my selected home park, and the season pass holder benefits are extremely bugged. The monthly pass holder perks would not appear until I had completely removed my pass from the app and then added it back, and even then some of the perks were still missing. Some pages of the app also launch the six flags website while still being inside the app which forces you to log in again and once again removes your selected home park. From there, many of the links don’t work and it even prompts you to download the six flags app FROM INSIDE THE APP. This is extremely frustrating as someone who is used to the very functional and user friendly apps that cedar fair produced.
Never works
Whatever six Flags has done to their app has just been awful. We can’t load any of our season passes or find accurate information unfortunately. This was bad on the past and now they upgraded the app and we can’t do anything.
Needs major improvement
All restaurants show closed, cannot order meals in advance. Fast lane is tedious and requires a separate browser. Useless besides entry at the gate.
Cannot add my passes
The app logged me out and now I cannot add my passes on the app or the website. Now I’m hesitant to purchase passes due to not even being able to add them.
Must be in park…
Having kids with health needs and sensory challenges it’s hugely helpful to us to see which rides are open or closed for the day, as well as wait times. This goes for both the waterpark and regular park. This year they locked out the ability to be able to check unless you’re inside the park. If our favorite rides are closed we don’t want to drive there, park, and walk two miles to find out. Likewise the water park is often half closed due to staffing or low predicted attendance- if half the water park is closed we want to know before we go. Please bring back the ability to check wait times from OUTSIDE the park.

It has bugs
I downloaded it in the park to see the wait time for the rides. But it wanted me to sign in so I tried to make an account. It made me sign in 6 times and kept saying there was an error. I changed the code twice and it even deleted the app to see if that was the problem. It was very aggravating and made part of the trip stressful.
Does not work
I cannot get my barcode through my membership. This app is so slow it glitches and freezes with every button pushed.

Ride descriptions could be improved to reflect rider requirements if there is a different minimum height for accompanied riders.
Menu choices at restaurants do not appear, and online ordering does not work (perhaps because all restaurants are incorrectly shown as closed?). Easy fix would be to show menu options even if restaurants is not open, and just have them greyed out.

Still cannot open my season pass, the app freezes up literally 100% of the time! Useless, even after the latest update. Please fix your app!
Worthless
Will not let me add my passes by scanning QR code, entering pass number or looking up my name. Can not get customer service to respond about this issue. As I titled this review WORTHLESS
